Ordered online today for lunch. #13 (the usual). What I like about JM's is that it's consistent. From the San Diego location I ordered from, to the one by my home, to this location by work.. consistent!! I love the bread (who doesn't love JM's bread ?!) and plenty of toppings which are fresh! even with the Covid issue we are having now, they readily answer the phone, they are polite and even though I can't go in to the store to place my order at the counter and watch them make my sub--they still make my sandwich true to my request.. exactly-the way I like it. I'm reviewing this location since it is a mile down the street from me, and it's where I've been getting my JM's fix lately. When made right and made by the right person, there is nothing better than a sub from JM's. A sub is my favorite meal, and I have grown to be very critical of who makes them up. Starting out in the 50's I believe in Tom's River, there is a reason why they can be found all the way in Vegas! They have the tastiest and freshest ingredients I've had in a sub, and I always get mine totally loaded with everything. At other places I usually hold the tomatoes, but JM's is a must have, and I order both oil and vinegar and mayo together. Even their mayo is the freshest and creamiest around! They are pricey and sometimes they go a bit light on the meat, but they are so fresh and tasty that I don't mind as much because of how much I enjoy them and could probably have one every day! They also run what seems to be a very clean operation. read more

Updated Review after 2 more Visits: Recently used a great coupon at Jersey Mikes and gave them another shot. Service was great and sub was fresh with great flavor. Only thing is I wish they would put more meat and cheese on their subs. But overall a very good experience. I would also mention the store is always very clean and workers are always making sure everything is spotless, which I really like. You can request extra meat/cheese, comes out a little pricey, but it is an excellent sub. Workers and mgr are always great. Would come back again! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION! After multiple attempts of giving chances to this location, being its the closes to my job, I've been talked to disrespectfully and the sandwiches are never correct/and are missing every single time. and on top of that the bread is ALWAYS stale. If you order online and make any adjustments, they won't read it. When I called to order due to the website being down, the manager tells me they are "too busy" to go somewhere else. After being in the restaurant business for a long time, they definitely don't rotate there food items, use old bread, and have no sense of customer service. read more

Jersey Mike's is growing too fast. I've been going to JM's since there were only a handful of stores. Always a great meal for a reasonable price. The new store in Oakhurst does not live up to the JM experience. The service was slow and uncoordinated. Computer/register crashed in the middle of lunch rush. Every open table was dirty. The sub I had - traditional turkey - fine but the portions/subs are noticeably smaller than they used to be. read more

Ordered a giant sub as I always do 2x month and requested that Andrew remove one item from it and it went down hill from there. I've been a Jersey Mike's customer for many years and will provide name/phone number for customer support when i'm asked about details. I was very rudely treated by the manager at the time "Andrew" at West Park ave/rt 35 Oakhurst , NJ store. I live within walking distance from store and will not be returning. I was told in as many words by Mgr. Andrew that they have plenty of returning customers and they don't need my business. If you add up my local support and referrals to local Jersey Mikes until now, I assure you that it will not only be missed but I will go out of my way to dissuade people from doing business here....no way to treat people. read more

I am simply giving it a 1 star based on value. The sandwich was ok. I got the medium w/no sides, no soda, and it ran me about $8.00. The lettuce was old looking. Perhaps they charged me for the hot peppers, who knows. Maybe that is the going rate now, but for less then that, I could have had a filling lunch special at a local Chinese take out. Yes, they cut the meat in front of me, yes Wawa does not do that - I simply feel ripped off. Oh, I think Wegmans makes a better sub and their bread is better and not remembering their prices, I think the value is much better. Will not go back. read more

I'm not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. But I've gone to Jersey Mike's a bunch of times for lunch, maybe once a week and I have never had a problem with their staff, food or cleanliness. This is the only Jersey Mike's that I have been to so I can't really compare it to any other franchises but everytime I go it has always been a wonderful experience especially when I get the fresh chocolate chip cookies. The staff seems to work extremely quick and very coordinated when it comes to making your order. As far as the portion of meats, again never had a problem. read more
