We are on a long road trip and the play place will allow our little guy to get out at stretch his legs. Where do I start? Everything was completely filthy. Food from customers were still on tables and all the tables were absolutely disgusting. Nothing had been whipped down in hours. I found this to be odd since it seemed like employees were chatting/gossiping. Another parents nightmare was the play place. The wipes that are supposed to be there were completely empty and seemed like it had been for a long time. Inside the play area had food crumbs, spilled ice cream, hair; human and animal that stuck to my child's shorts. I had my own wipes so I started attempting to wipe things down. The wipes turned brown. The bathroom in this area has a soap dispenser that's no longer on the wall. I attempted to pick it up and get soap, but the automatic dispenser did nothing. Honestly please do not be tricked by the fact there is a play place here, unless you are okay with your child climbing around in other people's filth. Subway i think can be a very solid quick option for fast food and a decent opportunity to have a healthier alternative to other fast food joints. For the most part, the pricing is fair and decent and the options are plentiful. I will generally get teriyaki chicken as my go to sandwich and if done well, its a solid sandwich. I also enjoy the turkey, the meatball marinara and the spicy Italian. All solid sandwiches if prepared well. The veggies are generally alright; the lettuce and spinach and sus sometimes along with the tomatoes and peppers but generally, not bad. Same with the meats and cheeses, usually in good condition at a quick glance. The main issue I tend to have with this particular Subway is the help and the competence in making sandwiches. I have had some very nice people that do a great job, go above and beyond, all that stuff and to them, they are greatly appreciated. I'm not a very confrontational person nor do I ever complain on the spot or make a scene. I tend to just accept things in the understanding that people have bad days because I do too. However, I find that whenever the owner is there making sandwiches, he goes very light on ingredients. I have had some workers there be very short and rude which is frustrating. Some people also just seem poorly trained at times with their efforts. So overall, more of a 2.5 out of 5 I think. A good 50/50 between great and poor experiences with the majority just being average/decent experiences. Thanks for all you guys do.
