Came here for lunch after an event at the library.. It's a really cozy take out place, a genuine corner deli. This is a full take-out place, so keep that in mind. I had the large meatball sub. This was recommended and it had some heft to it. This was a big, messy, delicious sandwich! No pic of the sandwich since I ate it in my car. It was all prepared fresh and promptly. I was a great value, and I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

I ordered catering from here for lunch via Relish. Because of this I can't speak to the ambiance of the deli itself. However, I can speak on the food. I ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken, which was great! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the chicken was plain and cold. Additionally, it would have been nice if it came with a side pita. All in all, the salad was great and packed with feta! I'd order this again.

Italian with hots. This his is only half of the sandwich.

Old school deli with good sandwiches. The outside is non-descript, so you may not notice it. I had the Italian with hot peppers. Decent sandwich on fresh bread.

Family Italian!! Just so fresh and filling! Yummmmmm.

Really good deli shop! I'm not usually into cold sandwiches (they do offer hot ones), but I was committed to trying the "Family Italian" after I had seen the sandwich! It was phenomenal and filling. I got a small and the small is really a large and I had to finish the rest later in the day. Service was prompt. I ordered in store. Not pictured here was carrot cake slice (for me) and NY cheesecake slice I picked up as well. So good. I will be returning.

Great sandwiches. Don't order a large. If you eat 1/2 you will be full but they are so good if you eat the whole thing you will need a nap

If you're looking for upscale boutique sandwiches, curated charcuterie boards, and a cozy atmosphere with owners who truly care, this is the place to go. My family and I discovered them a couple of years ago, tucked under the West Acton Village building, and they've quickly become our favorite sandwich shop and gourmet cheese market. My son, who is in college always makes a point to get their sandwiches when he is back home. Their sandwiches are upscale, boutique creations. Our family favorite is the Ploughman's Lunch: rosemary ham, mango chutney, pickled red onion, cheddar, and lemony arugula on a Portuguese roll. It's the perfect balance of savory, tangy, and fresh. Our second go-to is the Pig and Fig, which is just as delicious. They also have gluten free bread available. In addition to the sandwiches, their cozy shop sells cheeses (if you love blue cheese you have got to try Rogue River!!), charcuterie, natural wines, craft beer, and carefully curated accompaniments like jams and chutneys. I've gifted their chic napkins and artisanal jams many times, and they always make the perfect host or hostess gift. They even carry unique finds like Bret's goat cheese and chili pepper potato chips, which I can't find anywhere else! On Fridays, they even have free wine tastings, which are such a fun way to discover new bottles. The owners Dawn and Tamara (aka Eve and Murray) are incredibly friendly and passionate about what they do. You can tell they put thought into every cheese, wine, and gift item they bring into the shop!

Was looking for a snack so decided to split a sandwich. Inside was cute little market with lots of items to build a charcuterie board. No seating indoors but some tables and chairs outside. My friend and I got the South-West Acton. It took about 10-15 minutes to be made. I loved everything about this sandwich! It was delicious! The bread was crispy. The turkey was delicious along with the cheese and mayo. So yummy! I do think this sandwich was a little small for $16. But overall so good and the other sandwiches sounded good too.

The star of the show is the sandwich selection, all on a choice of focaccia or seeded roll, with many including stracciatella, a thick, white, creamy, Buratta-like cheese. I'm not an authority on Italian sandwiches but I've had my fair share from the "name" places in and around Boston, and this unknown gem from the outer suburbs ranks right up there with them.
