We originally were going to go to Wendy's across the street, but saw that this McDonald's had a play place. We have always had good service at McDonald and thought why not? We are on a long road trip and the play place will allow our little guy to get out at stretch his legs. Where do I start? Everything was completely filthy. Food from customers were still on tables and all the tables were absolutely disgusting. Nothing had been whipped down in hours. I found this to be odd since it seemed like employees were chatting/gossiping. Another parents nightmare was the play place. The wipes that are supposed to be there were completely empty and seemed like it had been for a long time. Inside the play area had food crumbs, spilled ice cream, hair; human and animal that stuck to my child's shorts. I had my own wipes so I started attempting to wipe things down. The wipes turned brown. The bathroom in this area has a soap dispenser that's no longer on the wall. I attempted to pick it up and get soap, but the automatic dispenser did nothing. Honestly please do not be tricked by the fact there is a play place here, unless you are okay with your child climbing around in other people's filth. I did in the drive thruw! they completely forgot about my daughters meal, started making it in front of us, refused to compensate or give us free fries etc. I could've gone out to an actual restaurant, with staff who knew how to do their job. Went to McDonald's on June 23 at 6:15 in the morning, had the most rudest drive up window woman ever. She would talk over me and not allow me to finish my order. Did not confirm the order and then when I came up to the window. She argued with me, bluntly telling me I ordered something that I know I did not order. A simple $20 breakfast meal turned into a miserable day. This so-called employee needs to work on her tone of voice and her bedside manners how she talks to people absolutely ridiculous. I don't dare eat fast food. But, I have always been impressed with how clean this establishment is. Used the restroom and my only real complaint was the floor being sticky around the urinal which is more of a guy aiming issue, or lack of floor cleaning. I was so annoyed and angered about this place that I had to write this review to have some higher-up fix this damn place, hopefully. I waited at the ordering area for a good 10 minutes before someone could even respond. Like Really??? I just wanted a simple sandwich, and why the hell did I have to wait 10 minutes for someone to take it???? This is RIDICULOUS, and as I finally took my order and went to the second window, I had to wait five minutes for such a simple sandwich. Even for McDonald's this place sucks. Ordered on kiosk because they are replacing actual people to take your orders. The kiosk said it would print a receipt to take to counter to pay. Apparently it was out of paper. Needless to say girl at counter had no idea what to do without order code or receipt. I am several minutes into trying to grab a quick meal and my order is lost somewhere. Manager said " I have no idea how to replace paper in kiosk", which is not really my problem... Me and my sister just went to this restaurant. She mobileordered the following - a McDouble with nothing but extra ketchup and extra onions, including no cheese. The first burger she got had cheese on it So we went around again The second burger had pickles and mustard, we went around again The third burger also had pickles and mustard With our anxieties through the roof we decided to just go inside this time and pull all the burgers apart and explain what she wanted, even giving the receipt back with the correct order on it. They hand us another burger. With cheese. Again. We handed it back. A 5th time they handed us a burger. WITH MUSTARD AND PICKLES. They were visibly irritated with us as if we had done something wrong. We just decided to leave and live with it. My sister is embarassed, my food is cold, and all for nothing because she STILL got the wrong burger because the staff was getting irritated with her and she felt like she couldn't speak up. Just wanted to thank Nicole and Brianna who work at McDonald's in Palmer. Brianna has been our favorite waitress/server for the past several months. (And, she is a gem, even bring our food to our table). But, she had the day off this past Wednesday, and we met Nicole. Nicole was helpful and friendly, getting our order ready quickly. She even carried our tray to our table. It is a joy to see these young professionals take such interest in their work, plus the customer satisfaction that comes from their added friendliness. The floor was spotless; the restaurant was clean. (Even the bathrooms were immaculate). We highly recommend this McDonald's. And, we ask you to meet Brianna or Nicole. Well -- it's McDonald's. There were no 'great things' that happened which stood out. Actually....the ice cream machine wasn't broken! So let's be real that's why I'm giving this establishment a 5 star rating. Plus the young girl manning the takeout window was chipper and seemed nice. The drive thru line is always long but that could too be due to location, being a few seconds from an entrance to the MassPike. Ordered a 2 for $4 breakfast sandwich deal to split with my mom who was with me. It was her first time trying a bacon, egg, and cheese McGriddle (only breakfast item of theirs I'll eat) and she actually enjoyed it. I'm curious as to how this place goes against their competition of Wendy's literally right across the street. I have to hand it to this McDonalds. Due to the horrible service, I have sworn off of fast food. How in the heck can one fast food place have the inability to get orders out in a timely fashion. This week, I stared at the order console for 10 minutes until I was helped. I watched the clock. After paying, I was asked as I picked up my order" if I paid." Oh my gosh! The playroom ewwww it's so gross! Come on parents let unite and all agree they need to close it and hose this place down with bleach. It's just so gross. Normally I wouldn't rate a McDonalds, but I must say every time I go to the drive through, it is quick and the staff are always very nice and courteous. It is not this way in every McDonalds, so maybe the manager here can visit other area McDonalds to train the staff.
