What is happening with Jersey Mike's in Plant City? I get subs a few times a week. I rotate between the sub shops around, including Jersey Mikes. I've given Jersey Mike's a few chances thinking "maybe today is a bad day for them", this is the third time my order was wrong and when mentioning it, I got a dismissive attitude. The lady said, just do a 5 star google review and you can get a free sub. I didn't ask for a free sub, I asked that they not add any mayo or lettuce to my sandwich. They added lettuce and EXTRA mayo (was messy and all over everything, including the bread. I reminded her, no lettuce or mayonnaise. She wiped it off with her hand and paper towel while I was standing there. I asked if she could remake it as it had mayonnaise everywhere, she asked if I was being serious. She did remake it with the same gloves she used to wipe the mayo off but slapped it together and asked if that was "better for me". I took the sandwich, paid my tab and left. I rarely leave reviews, I understand mistakes, but at least be friendly, apologize and not be so rude. I'll skip Jersey Mikes rotation until something changes. 3 times and I'm out. read more

UPDATE: since I can't reply to your comments below. That is absolutely not the case. Yes, she made the sandwich wrong after telling her 2 times and your manager telling her it was wrong also (she gave your manager attitude also). Then made the comment to just pick them off. Which we said absolutely not. Then the manager remade it while the new girl gave side eyes and huffed around. Your subs aren't cheap, so getting what we ordered should not have been an issue. We asked for a card with corporates number, she said NO. We said you can't give corporates number to us, She said no, she called you and put you on speaker. She tried to hand her cell phone to my husband - it had Mayo and grease all over it (disgusting). We said no, have you call him. You did - call and hung up when he answered (you didn't say a word - just hung up) and won't call us back (Stephen Hyotola correct?). Anyways, worst service we have ever received. Appalling actually. We like Jersey Mikes but the PC location needs to be better! We won't be back - not bullies, but paying customers that expect our order to be correct (I can't eat peppers). Horrible ... Staff are unpleasant and unprofessional .. Very chaotic and its never clean in there . I've been going to this Jersey Mikes for a little over a year and these last couple months it's Definitely been horrible . The Manger was rude when telling me she'll take my order in a few. Another lady took my order with an attitude as if I the customer was in the wrong.. There was also a lot of people waiting at the door for pickups .. When asking for bacon on my sandwich the bacon was in a corner dry and brittle.. Not happy this time. Normally I tell everyone how good the subs are. But this time, it was anything but. I ordered a Philly Cheese Sandwich. It was mostly bread with steak in the middle. All the cheese was in the fold of the bread. Little to no onions. Didn't see any peppers on it. At times I could taste vinegar. Not sure what that was. Anyway, I will definitely be back. We came in on a Sunday and it was pretty busy. They had a big rush probably right as we walked in. Lissette and Marcus were working double time, obviously working with a trainee and they handled it awesomely. Lissette was making sure everyone was happy while they waited and was busting her butt to get everything done while picking up the slack and did it all with a good attitude! The service was fast and friendly, the employees were extremely nice and quick. Their subs are great, plus if you get their chips, you get a bigger bag than most sub places.they don't have coke products, but it's not that big of a deal. The place has a nice atmosphere even though it's a bit on the small side, it has outside seating though, so that's a plus. Decided to try Jersey Mike's today. Bottom line? Go there! Got two subs to eat there and a couple to take home. All of the food was fantastic! Ingredients were nice and fresh, bread was very fresh (that Rosemary Parm bread is sooo good)! The staff was also great. They were friendly, efficient and accommodating. I walked into the store and walked right out! The manager was yelling at her employee over "burning food" but when I got to see it finished it looked fine, I even said to her that it looked excellent and it made me want one but she gave me a disapproving look and walked away laughing with some other girl behind the counter. They were not quite and were talking about some guy that's trying to get them working at other stores, I guess he's the owner or gm (if this is true I hope he hires better people,) and how they were going to do whatever they can to stop that.
