I am a fan of jersey mikes sandwiches. This review is mostly to express disappointment and frustration over the horrible customer service that you receive at the riverside location, near march field air museum. There have been several bad experiences but the most recent is enough for us to not purchase food from this location. My husband ordered food for delivery from jersey mikes app. They made a sandwich wrong. We called and talked to the manager on duty ( on 9/11) and mentioned that they wouldn't deliver it and wouldn't refund the sandwich. That they would remake it and we could pick it up however, that was a huge inconvenience considering we paid for delivery and now we had to go to the store and pick it up. This manager had a bad attitude and did not do anything to make up for their mistake. We plan on calling a store manager because this was a horrible experience and it just doesn't seem like they care to make improvements to their customer service. I have encountered some nice employees but when there is a problem with the order those employees can't do much to fix the problem and the people who can - choose not to fix it. I wouldn't recommend buying food from this location. read more

I'm trying to be nice by giving them three stars. I'm not a fan of overpriced sandwiches! I can make sandwiches at home, the way I want them with condiments that I want but my husband opened up an email and they have a new meatless sandwich. So to try to make Hubby happy I went out of my way to find the closest Jersey Mike's that I honestly want to keep calling Jimmy John's! We live right next to a general store that makes sandwiches and the most expensive is $10 but I drove 20 miles to pay $26 for two sandwiches! First I get to the door and it's locked. This is a brand new place and I don't know if they're doing some Covid thing so I kind of wait for a second like maybe somebody's going to unlock the door. I'm also really tired I just got off work. I stand there once I got inside and the kid was nice enough to acknowledge me and ask if I was there for pick up. I replied yes and gave him my name. He turned two bags around towards me, so I grabbed them and took them to my car. Immediately realized one bag had my name and another bag had somebody else's name took the keys back out of the car took the bag back inside. But the confusion doesn't end there- NO! When I walked back out to the car empty-handed without so much as a "thank you for returning the food that I tried to give you that didn't belong to you" at this point I really wish I just kept both bags of food and drove home. Anyway I'm hungry so I open the smaller sandwich that's mine, and it's not what I ordered. I'll eat anything, but I ordered roast beef and it's usually more expensive than ham. This time I actually have to find another parking spot, park and walk inside with a completely open sandwich so that they can see that it's ham! Now the sandwich has been opened for a few minutes and actually left the bag in the car, but he took it back and put it in the other customers bag! Sorry Joseph your sandwich has my germs! Lucky for you I guess I had my Covid shot? So yeah he open my sandwich up and showed me it was roast beef with the right bread and gave it to me. At this point I start to walk out the second time and I'm really not happy, so I ask for a manager and of course there isn't one there. So I grab several business cards off the counter. Half of those don't have phone numbers and the ones that did with this useless woman who gave me a bunch of lipservice about how this was a "teachable moment for them!" I'm taking it as a teachable moment for me too. I couldn't log into the app. I couldn't find a discount online for these overprice sandwiches. The sandwich I started to eat on the drive home was so dry I packed it back up and put it in the bag so that I can put mayonnaise on it when I get home because that's what you pay for the luxury of making the sandwich you want once you get home! So yeah overall I'm never returning to this location if I ever return to a Jersey Mike's at all- and I'm not planning on it! read more

I'm a YUUUUGE fan of Jersey Mike's. I used to go to the Alessandro location which is great as well, but this location is much closer. I go here at least twice a month and am incredibly pleased every time. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious and employees are always attentive and nice. Luke is a top-notch employee that is so incredibly friendly and helpful, if the owners don't make him manager ASAP, they are missing out on a golden opportunity. read more

Dining room is not used for dining, they took it over for catering orders, so if you order food they expect you to eat outside in the heat. Luke and Chery were the best!!!! Very sweet and kind during my whole order process. I can easily see them getting regulars customers with their positive, upbeat attitude. Kind of disappointed in this BRAND NEW location. I was thinking how cool we have a location closer to us now, but as a brand new location, wouldn't you have your best people working? We walked in at lunch time on a Sunday during Covid-19, I saw 2 workers in there, zero customers. The employee who looked up from what she was doing on the back counter, made brief eye contact, no greeting, went back to what she was doing without acknowledging us. Maybe a minute goes by and a young petite girl walks out from the back, and again, no greeting! Just stared at us with the look of "do you know what you want?" So I ordered my Club Sub, and since they slice their meat and cheese when you order, we watched her almost struggle to wield those meats and cheese on and off the slicer, like they are too heavy for her! Poor thing had no strength. She made a pretty good sandwich, but people need to speak up when they're wearing a mask. It was hard to hear her. The store was clean, but then again, no one is using it inside. They have a sign on their window that their bathroom is for hand washing only and if you want to wash your hands an employee will hold the door open while you do. I probably won't be back until Covid restrictions are lifted. read more

Every time the young lady with glasses is working twice around 3:00pm not only she is extremely rude when she messes up your order but refuses to give her name when you ask her because you are going to make a complaint being fed up with her rude customer service but she also has the nerve to pretty much ask you why??? She may seem a young High school kid quiet and pleasant but she sure can talk back and pay no attention to a simple sandwich order. Each time we came in we really just chose this place because of the long wait next door at In&Out yet we had to walk out and end up back on line rather wait 45min to a different place where their customer service is beyond excellent as usual. Too sad because most other MikeJ have very good customer service in fact this one is owned by the same Owners in Corona by SamsClub and their team there have an amazing crew, unlike here with zero customer service!! read more
