Had lunch here with a coworker this past Friday. We ate inside as there are about 6 tables...most tables seat 2 people and a table or two that seats 4 people. While having lunch the place was busy with folks coming in and picking up pre-ordered meals...translation...these guys are very good! We both had the Chicken teriyaki plate...comes with salad...the bowl is less the side salad. The food is very good, portions are super and the prices are fair. The have a very diverse menu and everything looks great...I'll be back. This is a hidden gem! I highly recommend this place. read more

I got a tip from the service department at the nearby auto center to take the short walk to Diane's. I am glad I did. A Small hidden gem in an industrial complex. A true Mom and Pop shop serving the local office community and any lucky passersby. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and a cup of coffee. Good burrito, I took half to go and sipped my coffee and conversed with the owner for the duration of my meal. They have been here for quite a while and I hope they are there much longer. read more

Came by here while we were car shopping down the street. We were starving but it was mid day so didn't want to overeat. My husband and I shared a turkey sandwich. It was very homemade tasting but it was also very underwhelming. The turkey was good but the pickles and lettuce were not the greatest quality I also felt like for $10 it could've had a few more slices of turkey and maybe some sprouts. My husband had a turkey sandwich and I had a spicy tuna sushi and they both were excellent! The sandwich tasted so fresh and delicious! They make the best sandwiches! My sushi also was great! It is very reasonably priced. The miso soup was amazing! We love Diane's deli! read more

I've been coming here since I was a sales manager at riverside kia. Ordering daily! Since I moved out to LA I haven't ate here in many years. On my way out to San Bernardino I had to make a special stop to one of my fav delis Food is always amazingly fresh. My fav is the house special sandwich add bacon. Their breakfast portions are huge!! I work within walking distance of this location and I'm so grateful for! There are not many other food places around so the fact that this one is so close and so good is awesome. I haven't tried everything on the menu but I have definitely tried a wide range of things from the sushi rolls to the fried rice to the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. My two favorite thing from there would be their breakfast sandwich which causes on a bagel or croissant bun and the potstickers with your always made fresh. It's also really nice because you can call ahead and order and if you're close enough they will even deliver your food to you. Staff is always very nice and sometimes it can get busy but always so get your stuff to you within a reasonable amount of time read more

I went here awhile ago for lunch and it was okay. Just okay. I've had better sandwiches else where. Maybe they were just really busy but when we walked in we weren't greeted. The lady was nice when she took our order so I can't say unwelcoming but just didn't like the energy in there. Our plan was to eat there but it was dead silent. First time here, I asked for a breakfast sandwich, and I asked the elderly woman for a suggestion on the type of bread. She chose to omit that it would be a half dollar more. Sandwich went from 6.99 to 8.15 before tax--plus 3.5% for card use which seems excessively high. While Foodies might justify frivolous spending for the flavor, it literally has 5 ingredients: bun, egg, bacon, mayo, cheese. If the cost of business is too high, maybe change the business. read more

We tried Diane's Deli because it got so many good reviews. We got the french dip and house special and chicken fried rice. I'm sorry to say we were dissappointed. We have gotten much better sandwiches other places. The foot was fresh, but just "ok". The squaw bread was a little stale and the french dip was good, but not great and it did not have enough meat. The fried rice was not good either, I can make better fried rice at home. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars because my sandwich was tasty (the house special) I got fries and they are ok, but we'll seasoned. I would give it 5 stars BUT they need to clean !!!! The chairs are all dusty, the walls have ketchup or sauce in some areas, also boxes visible everywhere, I know this is a deli but still, a little cleaning never hurt nobody. The place has an A rating so assuming the kitchen is clean but your dining area matters too, that's your first impression read more

You would probably have to go to New York for their corn beef special. This had to be the best special (lean corn beef, Russian dressing, and coleslaw on fresh rye bread. I was amazed at the size and taste of this incredible sandwich. They put Hymies and Murrays to shame. (5 stars) Can't wait to return. read more

Went for the first time during my lunch break and got a turkey sandwich. When I was about to eat it I realized it looked and smelled funny so I decided to touch the turkey (I work in food safety) and it was slimmy! I checked all of the turkey and it was all the same. Called and person said that it was the vendor but no lunch meat should ever be slimmy or have a smell. I hope they did not continue to serve. Wasted my money and time. read more

Pretty good food! I got the House Special sandwich with bacon and also the patty melt. I also ordered 4 teriyaki bowls to go for the kids and they had no complaints about the food. The place is in a business area, so it can be a little tricky to find. I went here because I had to get my car serviced near here, so I'll definitely be back to try their other items! read more

Came here for breakfast. Great location especially if you're waiting for car dealerships or work nearby. Also if you just need to grab a quick meal on the way, this is a good, easy spot. Service was very fast, basics such as breakfast plates, burritos, sandwiches, and teriyaki meals. I ordered a breakfast burrito in person, it arrived quickly and exactly as ordered. Some eateries will jam-pack a burrito with cheese or potatoes, when I ordered easy cheese that's what I received. And, less than five bucks for a REALLY filling meal-can't go wrong! Their coffee, tea, and baked goods are fantastic, but the main reason I love this place is because it's very cozy and the perfect place to read, study, catch up with a friend, or go on a date. They have a special, themed menu that changes every month. There is almost always seating available. They have a small book exchange, often sell local art, have cute merch, and just opened up a bakery right next door with extra seating. I'm kind of a snobbish third-wave coffee person and although this place isn't trying to be that way, it still is my favorite spot because of the overall vibe, how genuinely kind and down to earth the baristas are, and how comfortable it is. A lot of coffee shops are so brightly lit and trying to be hipster still in 2026, but this place is just kind of homey and the classic cozy coffee shop we all want to go to. So if you're a hardcore coffee connoisseur and are looking for the highest quality coffee, this might not be your spot. If you're looking for something with yummy drinks and baked goods with a chill environment you'll be very comfortable in, this is 100% your spot.

I found out about it through my cousin, who's a UCR alum, and I'm really glad I finally got to try it. The staff were super nice and attentive, constantly coming by our table to check if we needed more water, tortillas, or anything else we might want. Even with how busy it was, they still made sure everyone was taken care of, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was packed, and it actually surprised me because I don't usually see that many people at restaurants in Riverside. The energy inside felt lively but still comfortable. One of my favorite parts was the fresh tortillas. They come out hot and fresh from the oven, and you can literally watch them being made right in front of you, which made it even better. And the best part is they're free. We ordered the carne fajitas and chile relleno. The fajitas were incredible, the meat was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, with that perfect smoky sear that comes from being cooked fresh on a hot skillet. Everything came out sizzling and stayed flavorful with every bite. The chile relleno was also really good, with a nice balance of savory and slightly creamy filling that paired well with the sauce. It was actually my first time trying fajitas, and I can confidently say I'll be ordering them again the next time I come back. I definitely plan on returning while I'm still at UCR to make up for all the years I didn't know this place existed.

Had a couple of things here that were pretty good and well priced. Had the California roll and miso soup combo first time, iced coffee on the side. Cali roll was a good portion and tasted good, miso soup was just salty enough. Very good. Had the egg, cheese, potato, salsa breakfast burrito today. Eggs were nice and fluffy, potatoes were tasty and didn't take up most of the burrito. Not too much cheese and salsa, but it was still good for $4. Good little place near my school, prices aren't bad. Need to go there more. read more

I noticed one waitress walking around with an armload of food containers to pass out to customers. Since we were traveling on, we did not want to take our leftovers. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. The restaurant overall looks very dated. For the amount of food you get, the prices seem reasonable. If the meal I had is representative of the normal quality of food, I would prefer to eat elsewhere.
