I can honestly say that Jersey Mikes on North Atherton is great! They're always very pleasant and helpful and they have the subs ready on time if you order online they do a great job there. Location is a shared building. Hours are normal, parking lot is strange and can be tricky to direct people too. Food is good and plenty of seats. Staff is friendly. Only complaint is the A/C system is drips on most of the tables. Still my go to for Jersey Mike's in the area. read more

I really like the food at Jersey Mike's, the subs are a lot better quality than other chain sub shops. They slice the meat and cheese on demand as you order it. It's a bit pricey though but the food tastes better. You can get it "Mike's Way" which includes like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar and oregano, and that's what I'd recommend. The employees seem nice and are willing to have some small talk while they work. (This is probably because at checkout the credit card reader will ask if you want to leave a tip.). Had the Club Supreme and it was very good. I've been here before and every time the hoagies were good. One caution for you first timers is that when they ask you if you want it Mike's way, which is lettuce, tomato, onion , mayo & OIL. They put a ton of oil on. Now I enjoy a bit of oil but my god its drenched in it. Just my opinion as to what is to much. Other than that I have no problem with their hoagie. I do like them very much. read more

I'm not a big chain guy. Meanwhile, when you need a quick meal there's nothing wrong with visiting a place like Jersey Mikes. This particular location impressed us with friendly service and a quick turnaround on orders. And, as you can expect the quality blows away places like Subway (yuck). Sure you'll pay more for a sub here, but you're getting quality and flavor, which a spot like Subway can't offer. Why come to Jersey Mikes? I can think of many reasons and better ones than just their brewed sweet tea is good. We ate here a few times for lunch while in town and ended up sticking to a few items: the Philly Cheesesteak, Meatball Sub and my favorite creation (they'll charge you for a standard three meat sub) a Turkey, Salami and Pepperoni with provolone. Try these three subs and this could be your regular lunch spot. And, remember you're going to pay more here, but that's the cost of quality, flavor and portions that will fill you up. read more

Well the food was good i'll give them that but the sub that they said feeds 2 (the regular) was literally 6inches. Disappointed when it arrived (had it delivered) but once again it was good we were just still hungry after spending $10 for what we thought would feed two of us. This was a nice break from subway. BUT, I asked for triple cut, three times, and ended up without it. I asked for half oil and got full oil. so, they don't do so well with this light customization. but to be fair, they had four people do the three tasks of meat, veg, and pay. the sub was more than subway, and probably less good for us. but there was more meat and the stuff was equally or more so fresh, and the sub is thicker than a subway sub. It was, as folks note, more expensive. perhaps not for regular lunch, but special lunch. I can see why people like them and I can definataely see how customers can feel and be put out. read more

First, I just want to say, I wish there was a Jersey Mike's Subs in the Harrisburg area! This place rocks! Awesome fast service, excellent employees (some of the best I've encountered!), and prices relatively on par with other sandwich shops in my own area. My wife and I started eating here sometime last year and today was our third trip here. I have a very healthy appetite and have eaten sandwiches at Panera's that barely fill me up. At Jersey Mike's, that's not the case! I consistently order the #17 - Jersey Mike's Famous Philly (Cheese Steak) and my wife has ordered both the #15 - Meatball & Cheese Sub and the #5 Super Sub, although not on the same trip. LOL! It's simple and it's awesome. Ways it's awesome: quality ingredients. Freshly sliced deli meats. As in, you order your sandwich, they start slicing. They bake the breads in-house. It's December, yet all the vegetable toppings look decent. The staff is pleasant and efficient. In food service, well, the default is for the job to suck. If staff seems un-miserable, the manager deserves a great deal of credit for doing something right. That appears to be the case here, at least from a customer perspective. I chatted with the manager (owner?) for a few minutes and he seems very invested in the business and on keeping customers happy. It's rare to feel like the manager actually cares whether you had a good lunch, but it's really nice to see. They haven't been open long but I've already been here a few times, with a great experience each time. The space is sizable and bright. It's in the first floor of the Fulton Bank, and there's a huge sign, so it's easy to find. Do stop in for a decent sub on this end of town! read more

I recommend J-Mikes over any chain based sub shop. The employees are always friendly. The hot food is always HOT (temperature). And the cold food is always COLD. They are a definite win on taste which has been falling in most food chains these days. It is what it is in terms of the food - good in my book - but what made me take the time to write a review was that when I ordered a veggie sub, the woman making my sandwitch (she had a bunch of ear piercings) without my asking took the time to wipe down the slicer before she sliced the cheese. I'd give it 5 stars but I think it's a little bit pricey. If you get the meal (drink + chips) it is $2.49 extra so it will be about $9.50 for a meal. Otherwise, the service is good and the food is tasty and fresh. I like how the meat is cut per order. Since this location is brand new, it's very clean and inviting. Meatball sub was good but cold. Services was slow. The subs were handled by the maker with the same gloves used to work cash register(not good). Although there was an attempt to be friendly by the manager the price customers are paying should get more than an attempt. I would expect at least a hot sub when I paid for one.
