The food was good with the garlic bread being exceptional. One of the waitresses informed us that the bread is baked fresh daily. The menu has a wide variety of choices. We decided to sit at the bar, which has a nice flat screen you can watch. I ordered two drinks. the first was a simple Bacardi and coke, which the young server made well and I was happy that she offered me the option of a tall glass, which I prefer. Then I decided to order a drink from their drink menu. I chose the Purple People Eater and although it tasted terrible (again, the server was young and appeared inexperienced) it had a high alcohol content that I appreciated. The restaurant has a somewhat small dining room that looked comfortable enough. I do want to add that the single roomed ladies restroom was impressively clean. That is not something you come across everyday and I was very happy to pee in a clean bathroom, especially after a few hours at the stadium :-) I noticed that this rather small town has a large number of pizza places so I am happy that we chose to eat at Maria's . This only happened as one of the other places had street parking only and we were unable to locate a spot close by. maria's has their own parking lot. I enjoyed the food and the atmosphere and would recommend Maria's to others.

I'M NOT USING THEN GOR ORDER OR DELIVERY AGAIN!!! They outsource their delivery took Uber Eats delivery, and take no responsibility for any process or delivery issues. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL so 1 star for them. Uber Eats delivery... We finally got our food, but the driver simply dropped (yes,actually dropped) the food on our doorstep, and didn't even ring the doorbell. When I called Slice they said the food had actually been delivered 10 minutes prior. Bottom line, we definitely recommend Maria's for in-house dining or pick-up (call the restaurant directly) - just don't order online for delivery.

I ordered their American IPA while my wife ordered their cherry chill, a seasonal drink. I thought the beer was absolutely tasty and delicious! The pretzel bites came out relatively quickly and were amazingly delicious along with the beer cheese. For our main courses, I ordered the Southwest chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette instead of their Sriracha ranch and my wife ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. Again, our meals came out relatively quickly and my Southwest chicken salad was extremely well presented! All of the flavors came together and complemented each other in my salad! I really enjoyed it! My wife thought her slice of pepperoni was fairly good though the crust could've been a little bit more done. As for the cherry chill, it was a little too sweet. That said, it was a terrific visit and if we were in the area, we definitely would be back!

After the day on the road, glad to find somewhere to stop!

One thing that stands out is Ville Billy's does use a slightly stronger cheese then most other Pizza places. They also serve Pepsi products and the fountain is self-serve. Overall, nice place for a few slices and I hope they are able to keep going at the Nittany Mall.

While out of the way, the restroom is clean which is all you really need/could ask for. We got back to our hotel and unwrapped a HUGE 11 in sub we both split, saving the other for another meal. I wish we asked what the subs had on them as this one was soaked in oil and some banana peppers. No big deal I picked those off. (The deal just said Italian Sub) Toppings also included lettuce, tomato, capicola, salami and ham and cheese. Meat was lacking a bit, only one slice of each meat but the roll was fantastic. Very soft and tasty! A solid stop if you're in the area, just ask what all comes on the sub to make sure you're not surprised like we were. Looking forward to trying their pizza next time we're up.

State College, for being a large college town, struggles in the world of good pizza. There's not…read moremuch to rave about but Benny's makes a good attempt at fixing that problem. They are a small shop on Fraser St. with limited indoor and outdoor seating. Parking would be on a side street or a nearby parking garage with a little walk to make it here. They make large pies (28") with slices advertised as one (1) being equal to a standard four (4) from national chains. I will say it was a big slice and one was all I needed for around $6. Their full pies are around $45-50 and I believe contain 8 slices. That's not cheap but per their logic that's about 4 - commercial chain 14" pizza's. Benny's is a fairly new establishment and it had a good line at lunchtime. From what I could tell they pre make their pies and add toppings per order for single slices. A fresh pie would definitely be better. My pepperoni slice came out piping hot (burned my mouth off). They have a good assortment of toppings and hot sauce for everyone's use. The pizza was crispy, which I love, and it was good. It had a good sweet sauce with some strong cheese. I love pizza, and I may be ranking this more globally, but locally it's a great stop.
