I've placed to go orders with Jersey Mike's in Whitsett and Jimmy John's in the last two weeks. In both cases, I downloaded their applications and placed my order using the app. Both applications were fairly easy to use, but there was more of a learning curve with Jimmy John's. Jersey Mikes has the better app. The subs themselves were very good from both places. My wife and her friend liked Jersey Mikes a little better because that can select the type of bread. I had the opposite opinion. Both places allow you to associate names with a particular sub. Jimmy John's put the names on the subs and Jersey Mikes didn't. Jersey Mikes smashed the bun on my sub. I like both places, but I prefer Jimmy John's. read more

Looking for a Cool Sub spot...look no further. Jersey Mike's has Hot & Cold Subs. I ordered the famous classic Steak n Cheese(Cheesesteak #43) with light everything. To add a little flavor I ask them to cook my meat in oregano. (It'll change your life ). Talk about "Melt In Your Mouth" and oh so smooth...my regular size sandwich was gone within minutes. I had a bag of Sour Cream n onion chips that perfected my meal. Jersey Mike's you owe me absolutely nothing. We stopped here today for a quick lunch. It was clean and huge. My sub was phenomenal. I had a 6 inch wheat turkey and provolone. It was packed full of meat and was absolutely delicious. They had a nice variety of chips and drinks. Staff were friendly, too. read more

Don't want to ding this Sub shop too much because Jersey Mike's are normally a well run organization with great products (sandwiches). My problem is the speed in which they were moving the customer line. The guy that was making the sandwiches was 'slow'. No one stepped up to help him. My italian sub was great. read more

Terrible service I walked into the almost empty store Sunday, April 30th to pick up our order. There were four people at the counter looking at me as I approached, none of which offered any kind of greeting whatsoever. When I gave them my name and let them know I was there to pick up, the girl closest to me wordlessly pointed toward the door. I looked in the direction of her wordless reply to find several bags of pickup orders waiting by the door. I thanked them, turned around and collected my food on the way out. Not one word was spoken by anyone except me during the entire encounter. Sad. read more

Just a quick stop off the highway to get some lunch. Generally, Jersey Mike's doesn't travel well but if you go without the lettuce and without the oil and vinegar, it's *possible* that you'll only end up covered in bread crumbs by the time you get down the highway. Today I just got the roast beef with tomato and mustard. Easy to eat while blasting down the Interstate at 70 miles an hour. Not too difficult to get to from the highway and easy enough to get back on. The staff was doing the best that they could despite a family with four kids that had apparently never been to a place where you get to ask for what you want as they make it. read more

The restaurant was pretty clean other than the occasional dirty table with chip crumbs on it. The lady behind the counter was really nice so no complaints with service. Yes I did go about 15 min till closing but the sub I ordered was not the sub I received. I ordered the #43 which is the Chipotle Steak and Cheese but when I took a bite into there was no Chipotle to it at all just over cooked dry meat and cheese sauce. I am very disappointed in this place right now. When I used to go to this location when I lived in Burlington I never had any problems with my order but tonight made think twice about going back. read more

I was at the Burlington rd store near Witsett NC about 1:30 on Thursday 8/31/23 and I ordered a #9 giant and i told the older white man fixing it that I wanted mayonnaise on both sides and he put it on one that it the top part of the bread and then the bottom part that had the meat and cheese on it he turned upside down on to the stone surface and then had the bread in his hand and put mayonnaise on it then picked up the meat and cheese off the stone surface and put it back on the bottom piece of bread then added toppings and when he was done he scraped the lettuce that fell off on to the stone surface back into the metal bin that the lettuce is kept in and the lettuce was not fresh because it had some light brown pieces in it, please re train him read more

Fast service and food is prepared exactly as i want! Go to a few locations and all are on par.

Took about 7 minutes for a chicken philly which wasn't bad. My complaint is how it was prepared. At any other Jersey Mike's Subs that I've been to they wrap your hot subs in foil. This location didn't and it was SUPER messy. It didn't taste that good either- compared to other locations. Something was off. Only two vegetarian options, however the one I tried was very filling. I choose the grilled vegetable wrap, but subbed bread. The sandwich took a while to make and was done in the back room. It would have been nice to add additional toppings like you can on the cold sandwiches. Instead you don't see it being made and are just handed a bag. The flavor was very similar to the vegetarian option at potbelly. Mushrooms were on the menu but were not included in the sandwich. Maybe they are not vegetarian? Total price for JUST sandwich and drink was 9.78. Way too expensive. I would visit again l, but only if other options are not available. read more

This is the slowest staff I have ever seen at a Jersey Mike's anywhere. It was like everyone was sedated.

The last two times I have been in this particular jersey mikes the employees have been extremely rude, rolling their eyes, and not paying attention to any online orders. They need to be taught some kind of customer service on how they present their self to other people. Or find another job. read more

WARNING: High possibility of instant addiction to these samiches!!! I visit this store at least twice per month and I've never been there and witnessed it being anything but very clean. Service is always great, they never fail to greet you immediately upon walking through the door. I've actually called them like 20 minutes before closing time before and asked them to make my sandwiches for pick up, not intentionally cutting it that close to them closing, but nevertheless, they still never treated me like they were upset or anything. The manager there has always been super friendly and strives to make sure you are fully satisfied with your food. Now for the food..... if you have never had Jersey Mike's, I must tell you that this is NOTHING like Subway. You won't see any pre-cut cold cuts or little card board trays with portioned out pre-cooked steak. Your meats and cheeses will be fresh and sliced right in front of you upon ordering your sandwich. If you get a hot sandwich, like their awesome steak and cheese sub, they will be cooking your steak on the grill while you wait....hot, fresh, and delicious!! The giant sub is twice the size of a regular, but a better deal, so I always get the giant. These sandwiches are big, they do not skimp on the meat and cheese, again, NOTHING like Subway! Two giant club subs were more than enough to feed me, my husband and 18 year old son tonight for dinner and we still had half of one of the sandwiches left over. And we were all three stuffed!! We never have room left to bother ordering chips, and don't be fooled, we three can put away some food! Once you've had Jersey Mike's, you will never want to visit another Subway again. There's such a remarkable difference in TRULY fresh food. Oh and I forgot to mention, when you order a giant sub, they automatically cut it into 4 sections for you, so that makes it easier to handle and enjoy! I paid $25 and change for the two big honking giant club subs I bought tonight for dinner, which will also provide lunch for my son tomorrow!!! I normally have great service at this location, but today was not my day. I ordered two sandwiches online and picked them up at the promised time with no issues. Once I returned home, I realized that both sandwiches were made incorrectly. It looked as if both sandwiches had the opposite "extras/toppings" mixed up, which, I believe, is an easy mistake to make. I got in the car and drove back to the store. When I walked in, I tried explaining what was wrong with the sandwiches, but I felt as if the employee just wanted to fix a new sandwich and get rid of me. She repeatedly asked, "What kind of sandwich do you want?" I told her that I wanted the sandwich that I ordered online and that she should use that order to guide her. (I honestly wasn't trying to be a jerk, but, if a store is going to offer online ordering, it should be easy to retrieve an order, especially one that is only 10-15 minutes old.) She went to the back and came back with another employee. The second employee asked me what kind of sandwiches I wanted and, again, I told her that I wanted the sandwiches that I originally ordered. This tactic did not work again, as I was told something to the effect of, "Just tell me what you want on each sandwich and I will make it for you." So, negating the benefits of online ordering, I ordered each sandwich like a normal walk-in customer. I ended up getting the sandwiches that I originally wanted, but I ended up wasting time and gas. The second employee apologized several times for the mistake. The first employee re-wrapped the sandwiches and set them on the counter behind her. (I'm not sure if she was planning on serving them to guests later or eat them herself or what. I'm thinking that the sandwiches should have immediately gone in the trash, but I'm not an employee, so I don't know company policy.) I thoroughly enjoy eating at this location, but I don't imagine that I will be ordering online after this incident. read more

Honestly the worst experience I have had at a Jersey Mike's. The workers were rude and unresponsive, I literally had at ask to get checked-out because the cashier was helping make sandwiches for orders AFTER mine while my sandwich just sat behind the cash register area as I stood there. Service is okay, I love most of the people there always friendly but do need to work on getting orders right and listening better. Every time my family or I go we repeat ourselves or we get the wrong subs. Make sure you check your sub before you leave especially if you ask for something to be taken off the sub or put on. I love Deli's so I am really particular when it comes to these places. This is a small place that has friendly service and great meats and cheeses. Everything is fresh and they aren't stingy when it comes to making the sandwiches. Glad to have found a great deli in this area. read more

Just a little tip for people thinking Jersey Mike's is fast food. IT IS NOT;although they try to get orders out fast, Jersey Mike's is a deli. All hot subs are cooked to order and all cold subs are sliced. All the toppings are sliced. Yes that's right sliced, lettuce, tomatoes, ....etc. nothing is pre-prep. read more

Let me start off my saying I am a big fan of Jersey Mikes. I think the quality of their ingredients are by far superior to that of its competitors. However, the Stoney Creek location is a real disappointment. No, the food is not bad, but the customer service is. There is no friendly greeting upon entering the store instead your stared at with this look of "great I have to do some work now". The employees look like they are out on "work release" with little to no self-grooming. I found myself having to look at the boxer briefs of employee because his pants were falling off his behind. With that being said I decided to get take-out. The employee proceeded to slop together my sandwich without a care in the world about presentation. Not only did the sandwich look like something that had been dropped then stepped on, it was made incorrectly according to what was supposed to come on that sub. When I asked the employee to fix it, he rudely slapped on the missing ingredients and proceeded to rush me to the cash register. With all this being said I will not be going back to this location any time soon. My suggestion to management is to take some pride in your job and store, hire well qualified people, or at least people that care about their job. read more
