Grilled cheese and Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Combo
    Marie P.

Predictable and ok food. Since I don't eat meat, sometimes finding a good option is a little challenging. However, the salad bar is reliably a good idea (for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike) when dining in. Also, they do baked potatoes! At my last visit, I got grilled cheese and tomoto soup. The rye bread was delicious and so pretty with its swirling rye marbling. However, there wasn't nearly enough cheese in the sandwich. Also, the tomato basil soups tasted like mass produced soup from a bag (think Panera). I was grateful to have an easy veg option, but it was just alright. The space was big and had a lot of tables. Also, there were a couple of employees who were bussing tables quickly, which was awesome. To me, this is a spot to eat in a pinch and not somewhere to sit and enjoy a meal. Overall, not great and not terrible. So three stars is where I'm landing in my review.

I haven't been here in years (decades maybe), but I am happy to say they still have the soft serve machine and salad bar. I appreciate the gluten-sensitive menu and had a lot more options than I expected. The staff (Gen Z age employees) were all super kind and helpful. They assisted my elderly dad to customize his sandwich and checked on us several times, in a nice and not pushy way. The food was very hot and filling. I will definitely return and kudos to these employees for bringing back great food and customer service. It felt like old times growing up in the 80s/90s with old school hot foods and table service. Nice departure from other fast casual places.

    Spicy seafood gumbo

This was my first time to this particular store, but I've been to Jason's Deli many times before. When I came in, it was raining and cold, so I immediately looked for soup. They have a few, but the spicy seafood gumbo caught my eye. I got a bowl of that, and a strawberry shortcake to take home. The soup was pretty good. I wouldn't call it spicy. The flavor was okay though. It could have had more meat and seafood in it. The strawberry shortcake was pretty good. It's a simple flavor, difficult to mess up. Lastly, from a service standpoint, there is the cashier and a person who runs food to the tables. Everything was fine. The food runner and bus-staff were there and everything seemed to be flowing. I'd come back

    Half Club Royale

I love Jason's deli. It's a quick bite without feeling like fast food. My go to is the Club Royale. What's not to love? Turkey, ham, Swiss, bacon puked on a fluffy croissant. I usually do the manager special which is half a sandwich and cup of soup. I love the chicken pot pie soup with it's little fluffy pastry square on top. This is fast food without the rush and chaos of a typical fast food restaurant. Very chill and relaxed atmosphere.

New York Yankees. Very good lean meats piled high. A little dry, so I added stone ground mustard at home.

My main reason for coming to Jason's. Generous amount of tender meat, Swiss on marble rye. Note: their sandwich doesn't include sauerkraut and I don't think it has any type of condiments on it. I added stone ground mustard at home, but the quality of the meat is definitely a plus. Ordered thru Yelp link, but didn't realize that it would be sent thru GrubHub, even though I picked it up myself, so I paid over $2 over what I would have paid by ordering directly through Jason's app or website.

Stopped in for some food to go while we were in GSO tonight. This was delicious and relatively fast. The salad bar looked great so I may have to get it next time. I tried my husbands and it came with au jus for dipping and it was delicious.

    Broccoli cheddar soup. So good!

So I am new to Jason's deli and obviously late to the party! I will confess I went there last week with a party of 9 and totally forgot to take pictures. I went back today with my mother in law and almost forgot again. I was so ready to dig in. I was never a fan because I thought it was too expensive for a deli sandwich, soup or salad bar but lately with the cost of everything going up, it is really comparable to anywhere. And super fresh! On the first visit my husband ordered the seafood gumbo. My thoughts were .. you are really going to order gumbo from a deli in Greensboro! Dang, it was really good. I also sat close to them making the food and was able to see several promising future sandwiches like the French dip (they call it something else) but it looked amazing. My first trip I had 1/2 a Rueben and chicken pot pie soup. This visit I had the New Yorker and broccoli cheddar soup. Both were really good. You can also get bagged chips (different flavors) instead of the "house " chips which are like ruffles. Who knew! I am looking forward to going back and trying other menu items for sure.

    Italian Cruz Po'boy Regular

I decided to stop in for a quick lunch since I had not been to Jason's Deli in years. I got the Italian Cruz sandwich with chips and a fountain drink ($11.51). The sandwich was just the right size for a light lunch and the chips are wavy which is one of my favorite styles of chips. The pace is well staffed and the service was quick. They seemed to stay pretty busy inside with dine in and to go orders. The best part if the FREE ICE CREAM!

    Great Southwest Bowl

Stopped in on Sunday around 11:30 am and there was already a decent sized line! It went by fairly fast for how many people were there and our food was served within just a few minutes! We ordered a chicken Caesar salad, a Med bowl, southwest bowl and chicken Cobb salad. All were excellent!! I'm surprised at the lack of great reviews because everything was perfect! The person delivering food to the tables was personable and they were quick to go around and clean tables too! The beverage area was on the messy side but they were super busy so it was understandable. Great place with awesome options, especially healthy choices and for fantastic value!

If you've ever dreamed of visiting Istanbul for authentic Turkish cuisine, you don't have to travel…read morethat far, just head to Zeeyum Kitchen on W. Market Street in Greensboro! After hearing so many great things, my family and I finally decided to try it this weekend, and all I can say is... WOW! What an incredible experience from start to finish. First, let me say that Zee, the owner and chef, is one of the most welcoming restaurateurs you'll ever meet. He not only prepares amazing food but also takes the time to personally greet his guests, making you feel like family the moment you walk in. We started with the Hummus and Fresh Flatbread, and it was absolutely outstanding, fresh, creamy, and full of flavor. Next came the Börek (Ground Beef and Feta Cheese). Think of it as the best, most flavorful "egg roll" you've ever had, but with authentic Turkish flair. Simply delicious! I had the Bugu Kebabi, served in a clay plate with red onions and tomatoes. Sealed with baked bread. I'm usually not a lamb person, but when Zee explained that the lamb is marinated for hours in an onion-based broth, I decided to step outside my comfort zone. I'm so glad I did! The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. The presentation was also unique and memorable, with the delicate thin bread cut open right at the table. It was more than enough for my daughter and me to share. My wife ordered the Beyti Kebab, is a Turkish dish consisting of ground beef, grilled on a skewer and served wrapped in lavash and topped with yogurt sauce and butter sauce. Every single bite was bursting with amazing flavors. Another outstanding dish! All the desserts are to die for, many are imported from Turkey. Before you leave, don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Turkish Coffee, Turkish Wines, or a Turkish Beers to complete the experience. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers healthy, authentic, delicious, and very reasonably priced food, Zeeyum Kitchen should absolutely be on your list. The service is exceptional, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and there's plenty of convenient parking. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!!!

Rich, savory sauces, a menu that is a good guide. I had the Bugu Kebabi - slow cooked lamb in a glazed pot, sealed with a pita crust. If you like lamb you will love this. Kofte meatballs are also outstanding, if you prefer beef. There's a whole page of vegan dishes, as well Baklava selection is beyond words. All of us had a lovely time. Can't wait to repeat.

The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

First of all-service was excellent. Our waiter came to the table within a moment of being seated to get started with waters and non-alcoholic options, and was quick to check back up on us and see if we were ready or had questions. He made several great recommendations on both food and drinks. My only caveat was that my 10 oz steak was a bit on the salty side, but this may be due to the aging process. It was cooked to a beautiful medium per my request, and both my sides (asparagus and loaded baked potato) were yummy, well cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband got a pasta with pancetta and caramelized onions, and it was absolutely delicious. Suggested wines were paired well with both entrees. We opted to get a few more drinks with dessert, and both were also very good. The bartenders are not stingy in their pours! We also split the butter cake for dessert and I will say that Paula Dean would have been proud of that cake. It was melt-in-your mouth richness paired with a slightly tangy fruit sauce, fresh berries and a tasty vanilla ice cream. The restaurant as a whole was well set up, with multiple types of seating and a large bar area. Decor was well placed and there was enough room to walk through without feeling crowded, despite how busy it was. We will absolutely be back!
