I have to say that I enjoyed this regular size club sandwich as much as any I have gotten before. The taste of The turkey ham that smoky bacon with the coolness of the lettuce and tomato and the mayo and the dressing melting over it, it made me say "wow that's a good sandwich. I'm pretty basic when it comes to sandwiches. I get my tuna sammie and they do it right everytime. Tastes the same and when it's Mike's way it tastes a lot better. They got a great selection of sodas and beverages and seating is good. They got a table ledge by the window for those who like to eat standing. The interior looks like any other Jersey Mike's but the stars of this location is the staff. They are an amazing work team, everyone is at it , making the sandwiches, restocking, cleaning counters and grill tops, constantly changing gloves out, keeping their stations clean , it's a wonderful operation . It's usually the same gentleman making my sandwiches and when I request to change gloves before making mine, he does it every time. He even did it without me asking. Consistently. That is one quality I always look for. This location always makes nice, fresh sandwiches to order. I have never had a complaint about the prepation of my sandwich. One complaint however, is the price. Almost 20 dollars for a full sized sandwich is a lot. Especially for a "fast food" environment. This is slightly circumvented by a point system that will score you a free sandwich once you have purchased enough of those expensive delights. But I will also say that the sandwich is about 14 inches long, So you are getting a hefty sub. The staff is always friendly and responsive when I go in. Keep your eye out for the occasional coupon. They used to have a buy one get one free coupon. I don't see that as often. More often you will see a percentage off coupon. Every little bit helps. read more

I visited this establishment and I am very impressed with their excellent customer service. I love Jersey Mike's and this location doesn't disappoint. I placed my order online and I came in the restaurant to pick up my order. It was already packed and prepared for me. The restaurant was quiet and clean and they had Christmas decor inside. It was so beautiful. I ordered the #12 Cancro Special which consists of roast beef and pepperoni with provolone. I had the sandwich prepared Mike's Way and I added cherry pepper relish, banana peppers and mayonnaise. This was my first time trying this sandwich and it was delicious. While I stood there waiting for the preparer to finish my sandwich, she was preparing 3 others ahead of mine from written orders. All the while there was a long line in the store. I get the feeling at this place that management actually does care about serving their customers and giving them a good experience, which is very nice and different since I feel many places today don't really care about the customer. Typically I am a fan of Jersey Mike's. This location? Not so much. Very limited seating. Extremely limited. I think I counted a total of 5 tables which for a place located along a busy stretch of Hempstead Turnpike is not very much. They also have a counter against the window but no high-top chairs/stools for those. More on that in a minute. The staff is pleasant but they need to speak up more (whispering over the loud music they play here doesn't exactly work). My sandwich was correct and delicious. Prices are like every other Jersey Mike's location. Back to the seating. Five tables and one whole table taken up by a manager doing work on a laptop. I understand there is work to be done, however, go stand at the counter if you need to do it. One person for a 4-person table. She had to have seen the line forming and a good chunk of us opting to dine-in yet she kept her nose to the laptop screen and pretended we did not exist. Now I don't need to sit per se but it's nice when eating a somewhat messy sandwich on a hot day. Also there were other people trying to eat-in with families. Either add stools to the counter area or tell your staff not to take up tables when the place is obviously busy. To preface, I didn't order a 'sub.' I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap and I wasn't too impressed with it. I unwrapped it at my office, took a pic, and went to pick it up, only to discover it hadn't actually been cut through entirely, spilling half the contents on my desk. The taste wasn't anything spectacular but I do applaud the freshness of the ingredients. i did get a littler nervous with time. I only have a lunch hour after all. The wait on line didn't take long but the wait for my wrap after purchasing did take quite some time. And there were people after me that got theirs before mine, so I'm not sure how that worked out. Tried Jersey Mike's for the first time today!! I ordered on their website which was super quick and easy. They didn't have chipotle mayo as one of the customizable options but they still did it for me when I wrote it in the special instructions box. They do have Mayo as an option but they forgot to put it on my friends sandwich. I ordered the Super Sub and it was good/filled me up. I definitely prefer it over Subway's, it's slightly more expensive but the cold cuts and ingredients just taste more fresh. I definitely recommend coming here for a quick lunch or dinner, especially if you order online. read more

I love this location. It can become a bit busy since it is right next to Hofstra University, but that's how you know you are always getting fresh ingredients. The staff is really nice and friendly. One staff member, not sure if she is a manager or not, tends to remember the names with the guest and goes straight to your bag and hands it to you. I love that! The food is delicious and unlike Blimpies that just give you a sliver of meat and cheese, Jersey Mikes gives you a reasonable amount. A man came to the door where I and many others were looking to go in to the clean well set up place. He told us (and I wonder how many others had come by) that they are opening this Wednesday. That would be 3/18/2020, the day after St. Patty's Day, tomorrow. He gave us each, some card/coupons that read Free Regular Sub with a minimum $2.00 donation to: Bethpage High School Captain's Club-valid 3/18-3/25. Now that is a deal for 2 reasons. First, as he stated, he is supporting Local community through Bethpage High School and the Captain's Club. (I am not sure what the latter is all about, just yet) Second, a $2.00 donation for a Sub, sounds pretty good to me. If I recall correctly, they are in the Motor Vehicle shopping center on the North West side. So, I am just putting the word out there. We tried it out Wednesday. Sandwich of Roast beef was good. We were asked by the young man how we would like our sandwiches and we said. Hot (temperature) We ordered roast beef with cheese. They do not have microwaves and do cook and heat from a grill. I asked them to crisp up the bacon and after a minute they added it to the sandwich. A young lady behind the counter suggested we get the traditional Jersey Mike's style which comes with lettuce, tomato and vinaigrette and we said ok. I guess the communication of that change, lost in translation as the sandwiches we got, were cold. As it was for Take Out, we took them home. First time here and boy does this location need retraining. First of all three workers one person making sandwiches and ringing people at the same time. 30 mins for 2 sandwiches is crazy. The man making the sandwiches is using the gloves for every order ahead of me. Wow! Didn't notice until after he made mine. Clearly they were ripped and needed to be changed. As he is ringing m, I asked him If should get the chips and drink combo and would be it cheaper than just buying the chips. He told me I can read the board. After paying for my food I suggest he change his gloves after making peoples sandwiches and touching the register. I find that to be so unsanitary. He had an attitude. The staff here is great. They're friendly and efficient considering how busy this location can get. Being right by Hofstra and NCC, they get tons of hungry students and faculty and more. The food is delicious. Jersey Mikes is fresh and yummy. Good amount of choices. I especially like the club supreme with turkey, roast beef, swiss, and and bacon. So good! And they do a great cheese steak, beef or chicken. I didn't love the meatball and cheese hot sub, but we're spoiled here with on LI with great Italian, so I wasn't surprised. Jersey Mikes is my preferred "fast food" sandwich shop. Everything always looks, tastes, and smells super fresh. I always go for either the Italian or the Club Sub sandwich (Mike's Way, obviously, meaning it has lettuce, tomato, oil, vinegar, onions, and spices). They definitely don't skimp on their sandwiches - They're usually overflowing! Pro tip: Get the red pepper spread! Although conveniently located walking distance from my office, I can't afford to splurge on a sandwich regularly. A regular (AKA normal human sized) sandwich goes for around $9, and I need gluten free bread, so I pay extra for that. Add chips and a drink and you're at $13-$14. There are "mini" and "giant" sized sandwiches, along with wraps that are available. I know there's a rewards system available, but I never get asked to use it. I wish the cashiers would ask of I was a rewards member and help me accrue points! read more

I heard a lot of hype about "Jersey Mike's Subs." I heard commercials, word of mouth, even internet adds. I finally decided to put this chain to the ultimate test, my stomach. I stopped by and carefully navigated their small parking lot and headed in. Like most chain restaurants it was clean and organized, but that's always expected at a chain. I walked up to the counter and was impressed with how many staff they had ready to serve you so a wonderful woman took my order. I was hungry so I ordered the biggest sub they had and couldn't believe it was fifteen dollars. I figured for that price this thing was going to be huge. The same woman that took my order began cutting my turkey on a deli slicer. I thought that's better then Subway, real cut meat. But when she passed the meat to the other lady, that's when things got depressing. I wanted to go with flat bread so I asked for a panini and I was told they don't have it. Okay, so I took the hero. Next, I asked for my go to cheese, cheddar and they don't offer it. What! I almost walked out, but hunger kept my focused on the task at hand (writing this review). They only have three choices, of cheese, american, provolone and swiss. I decided well if I can't have a panini with cheddar at least I can get my hero toasted. Well no they don't do that either. It seems like I got a lot of "we don't have it" right away. I saw all the wonderful toppings they had so I asked for tomatoes and onions. They only put a small amount on. What gives? Why do chain restaurants always control how much they ration out? So after they created my fifteen dollar hero I left feeling defeated. A walk of shame to your car with food is as bad as any walk of shame. I sat in the car and pulled out my hero. It actually tasted better then a Subway hero, so that was a win, but the bread was a bit chewy for me. I guess you can't win with chain restaurants. I'm pretty sure I won't be back.
