They have a deal where you if pick up 3 of their $12.99 prepared dinner options, you get them for $30 total.. score! I cooked one of the steaks the same night and WOW.. it was incredible. The marbling was just perfect and the fat caps, while large enough to help aid with flavor, were small enough that trimming wasn't necessary. Louisiana joes looks like a small sandwich shop from the outside but inside it is a flavor factory. The staff was so warm and welcoming and were so helpful. We tried the pork sandwich, jambalaya and the Mac and cheese. There are so many great menu options, it was hard to choose. The jambalaya features shrimp, chicken and sausage. So flavorful and the portion size was excellent for the price. The pork sandwich was delicious - pork was super tender. But the star of the show - the Mac and cheese. We are Mac and cheese lovers and try it everywhere. Well congrats, Louisiana joes. You've officially taken the top spot for cheesy deliciousness. I just regret that we didn't add a protein. As good as it was, I know it will not be a frequent meal to grace my belly, because personally, it's just too much meat *for me*. Considering this, I ate the whole sandwich in one sitting. I'm not usually a brisket person, but I was willing to give this one a try. Cheese, meat, and bread, sign me up. It is a lot to eat as far as the meat is concerned, so if you're not a crazy meat eater, don't be surprised if you only have room to eat half if not one full slice. I also wanted to try their corn nuggets, which looks like fried corn bread but rolled into a ball, but they didn't have it that day. I left feeling a little deflated at that, but my belly was full. I doubt whether I would have been able to eat that along with my shrimp and grits. I'm a hot mess and am trying intuitive eating and have discovered I'm not one for eating breakfast right after I wake up. I forgot to grab egg bites or something from Starbucks when I got coffee for everyone so I made a door dash order for myself, my sister, my son and her son. I got an omelette which was seemed like a usual omelette but I wish they had included ketchup unless they did and I just grabbed the food in a hurry and it was in the paper bag. I'm not sure if my sister liked her eggs or my son or her son liked the pancakes she didn't tell me. I was impressed with how they packaged the food especially during this time of COVID when people are taking precautions. Overall I'd order or go there again, I wouldn't say it was mind blowing food but it wasn't bad either.
