Oh man. We've been coming here 2-3 times a month since March. I think maybe just once our order was correct. We usually order on the app and pick up but today is the second time we arrived at the time the food was supposed to be ready and they hadn't even started making it. It was supposed to be ready at 12:31 and it is now 12:45 and we still don't have our food. Last week my husband waited about 30 minutes past the time the app said the food would be ready - unacceptable! I love Jersey Mike's sandwiches but I think we will need to stop giving the Hacienda location or business. Sad to have to do this but I'm over being disappointed in the service and the missing ingredients. read more

I posted a negative review earlier but since then I've changed my mind. I ordered a couple of their philly cheese sammy's online and when I got there it wasn't ready. But in all fairness they had a lot of hot orders come in at once. Also to my surprise I got a phone call from one of the supervisors (Eddie) and he was very polite, apologetic and offered me one on the house for my next visit. I'd been ordering from here for a couple of years and every time they had my sandwiches ready on time. I was just having a long day and wanted to get home. But it's nice to know the Jersey Mike's team in Vista really cares about their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant. The service is great. read more

I frequent Jersey Mike's locations on my breaks because I love their Philly cheesesteaks. I ordered one from this location through Postmates and on the first bite right away the meat has a strange rather disgusting taste that was nothing like the sandwiches I always order. This was hands down the WORST sandwich I've ever wasted money on ordering. I know the delivery process is separate from the preparation process, I waited patiently over an hour and a half for this delivery and when it gets here I can't even eat it because it tastes like the meat was left on the counter or in the sun, I don't know what exactly but it's a rancid taste. I got a stomach ache from the 1 bite I took and immediately contacted Postmates. Seeing the other reviews it looks like the employees here could care less about quality even by Jersey Mike's standards that has been consistent on all other 7 locations I've tried. It may not be a big deal, but waiting another hour for food I can actually eat is super inconvenient AND this meat triggered my IBD so you get this review. read more

I witnessed an employee spit while behind the counter. Not sure if on food or what but it was clearly on something on the back counter. I messaged the company and all they told me to do was go on their website and submit "feedback". I wasn't even going to eat here the day I saw this, I pulled up and was walking to Rubio's right next store and saw thru the window that exposes the back area of the shop. I normally go to the fallbrook location. I was disappointed by this table. Virtually every table was dirty. I was there for over 30 min and there was definitely down time and no one cleaned anything. I also got the wrong bread on my sandwich and I think that is because I was asked what I wanted while the man was still working on someone else's sandwich. I think for this, I prefer how subway does it. Everything is done when it's your turn. It felt kind of scattered as well. I was beyond starving and my body was shaking from it, and even paying for my food took a while because after I inserted my card, the person walked away to work on someone else's sandwich and I had to wait for him to return to give me my receipt and hand my the rest of my order. The white bread was hard and my 3 year old couldn't bite through his sandwich. The wheat bread however was soft (which is the bread I asked for on both sandwiches) I got lucky he ate my sandwich instead. read more

I am a huge fan of Jersey Mike's subs. As far as franchise sandwich shops go, this has got to be my favorite. The menu is simple and condensed, the staff is always pleasant, and my sub always tastes perfect. Jersey Mike's sandwiches consist of a fresh, chewy roll, a good amount of fresh cut meat and real cheese slices (not those weird triangular cheese fragments). One of my favorites is the Italian sub - I like it my way, not Mike's way. I always add the CPR (cherry pepper relish) - no matter which sammy I order - I highly recommend it. read more

Upgraded to 3, maybe 3.5 stars. They got my sandwich right this time, and still had the tea dispensers out, unlike other times where they take it away way too early before closing. The person making my sandwich made sure to ask what I wanted on the sandwich and even made sure it was everything I asked for before closing the sandwich and wrapping it up. I liked that the tea dispenser was still available, sometimes I've seen it missing and it wasn't even near closing time yet. I was very excited to experience this place after hearing so many great things. I went on with a coupon for a free giant of my choice. I decided to go with the number 9..Because bacon is awesome and everything is better with it... Um well when I got home I was extremely disappointed to find out my sandwich had no bacon on it!!! Dirty tables; unclean restroom and a missing sandwich Stopped their late Sunday afternoon after a soccer game. It was way past lunch time (3:30pm). So when we got there, place was empty and there were three employees behind the counter . We ordered 4 subs, got our drinks and proceeded to sit down....each and every table in the restaurant was dirty and had not been wiped down since previous meals. Cleaned the table myself and went to the bathroom to wash up; restroom had not been serviced for several hours. At this point wondering what these employees been doing with no customers in the store to serve. We got 3 of the 4 subs right away; said 4th one almost done. Waited 20 minutes and went back to the counter to ask about the missing sandwich and I get a blank look; sorry we forgot, so by the time 4th sandwich arrived everyone else was done long time ago. Missing sandwich is not a big deal, but dirty tables and unclean restrooms in a restaurant is asking for trouble. There's a reason why Jersey Mike's doesn't get the attention other sub places get; it doesn't taste as great. The plus is that they slice your meats and cheese right in front of you. For instance, if you order turkey breast and provolone, they grab a big slab of turkey and start slicing it fresh for you. Same with the cheese. They don't have an expansive sauce menu and the "mike's way" dressing isn't great. Overall, I enjoyed my sub but it was not memorable. The staff here was excellent. I didn't catch his name but he was friendly and funny the whole time and I'd come back just because of him. He really gives this store a cool vibe. read more

Also, if you have one of their coupons, you better show it before you even order because they tell you that they have already "rung you up" before your sandwich is completed and, therefore, will not accept the coupon. Unimpressive. I was looking for a catered meal and decided to test a sandwich to see if it was good or not. I basically got a vey basic sandwich: bread, lettuce, tomato, cheese and a stomach ache that followed. The staff was unfriendly, uncaring, no one cleaned the tables. I have worked in the service industry for the last 20 years and the last 2 times I've been to this location 620 Hacienda Drive #103, Vista CA it has been the worst service!!! It's like the young guys who work there just hate their lives or something! I will not be going back to this location ever again! I normally like this place, but yesterday I got a sandwich 'Mike's way' that when I got home was a bunch of dough soaked in oil wrapped around meat. The wrapper was dripping oil when I took it out of the bag. I also stood at the counter for several minutes before anyone acknowledged I was there.
