I am a huge Jersey Mike's fan and will continue to frequent it..The Jersey Mike's in Wall Township near Whole Foods is my least favorite and I will now go to other ones. On my last visit I ordered my usual and it was almost inedible. They put too much of some things and too little of others on my sub. I know Jersey Mike's subs was sold to a corporation went there the other day got a giant sub. The only thing giant was a disappointment kinda like a rambling Bruce Springsteen concert in London but it Seems like they now put half the meat, lettuce tomatoes on the sub not like it used to be. I think they're trying to make up for the 8 billion dollars that they spent to buy the company if they keep it up, they will definitely be out of business. I am not going to the one in wall township ever again it's not like it's a free sub. I expect the sub to be great for the price they charge again. One star HOWEVER I cannot do Zero stars, yup, you read that correctly. Ordered a Giant BLT through the app, just like I've always done. I pick it up from a snotty kid working the pick up station. Get it home and my BLT has NO BACON on it. I call and get Devon, the Operations Manager, who was less than pleasant, on the phone. He informs me that it was my mistake and that the order clearly stated "No bacon". I say there are quite a few other places I can order from and I've done this same order often, once/week. I just walked out of your store. Never before in my life have I had an issue ordering a "to go" sandwich. So today at about 2pm I entered your store, which I've been to many times, and approached the counter (there were no other customers in the entire place). I stand in front of your employee (young African-American, spotty facial hair, long dreds under a large white hairnet/hat) and after a few he asks can he help me. I state, "Yes, a half turkey and swiss please". That was the entire dialogue between us. He then starts cutting loaves in half, putting the tops nearer to the condiments section. He is apparently reading from a slip of paper which he has lying near the slicer. I begin to wonder why he's not slicing my cold cuts, but then he wanders away, eventually coming back with a loaf of provolone which he then slices. He finally completes arranging the bottom of the loaves (about 10-12 total) and begins to make this large called-in order. He has an attitude like I just ran over his dog. I then realized that I was expected to hang out until your employee deemed that I was worthy to receive a sandwich from him. I left. Perhaps you could explain to your employee that 1. you are in the business of selling sandwiches, to get used to it, 2. you don't start on a large new order expecting your customer to wait after you've already asked him what he wants, and 3. adjust your attitude, if you don't like your job it's not the customer's fault. Called in a delivery. Two wraps, one was fine the other one oil was dripping through the bag. The wrap was Rolled like a sub , not properly rolled like a wrap should be. I'm from Joisy. I grew up a few blocks from one of the original Jersey Mikes at the shore. It's been a staple from kid to adult. They have become a "chain" in the 30+ years since I was frequently them but I don't see that as a negative essentially. The quality is still consistent and I think the service is also pretty good. You know what you are getting if you come here and they'll make it right in front of you of course. I like that JM is an active supporter of charity and takes 1 full day a year to donate ALL proceeds to a local charity. That really means a lot for a community and a non-profit. The portions can be large (if you go giant - what did you expect) and as long as you get any liquid on the side are still good a day later. They have Pepsi sodas on tap and a combo including chips & soda is a decent bargain. It's exciting that they now also take Apple Pay - and it works - making checkout quick & easy. read more

If you want a sub and you are any where near a Jersey Mike's this is the place for you! Living in Point Pleasant, the home of Jersey Mike's I've gone dozens of times. Always good, always fresh. Today I had a #3 ham and cheese, Mikes Way, onion, lettuce, tomato, oil and vinegar. Hot subs are great also, I love the hot pastrami with Swiss! Prices have been inching up over the years and it now cost $15 for a sub, my only unhappiness. Jersey Mike's has been franchised and you can find it in a lot of other places beyond the Jersey Shore. I've been going to Jersey Mike's ever since I was a little kid and over the years the price has gotten way out there. I understand a whole sub is big, but come on... This was the first time I have ever been to this chain. I see why people like it. It's a perfect place to stop and grab sandwiches before or after your way to the beach. I ordered a chicken Caesar wrap, which was freshly grilled and put together right in front of me. I like to watch them do that. The chicken was warm, lettuce and cheese was just enough, and the dressing was good. My only complaint was there was a little too much dressing, some of my wrap was drowning in it but other than that I would definitely come back. Absolutely delicious--hit the spot! After a day on the beach, my husband and I were craving subs. I wanted a ham, salami, and provolone with the works (what I fondly think of as the #1 from my teen years). My husband wanted a turkey and provolone. We set course for Jersey Mike's before getting on 195 to head back home across the state. Both our subs were made exactly to order and the most tasty subs we've had in some time! This location always seems to put less meat and less toppings on their subs. We have been to other locations and the lack of consistency is annoying. The location on Route 70 is much better. We will not return to the Allaire location. Too much to pay for a weak sub. read more

Yay! I'm a fan. At least that is what four stars means on Yelp. I really like this place. I like the bread, the meats are cut fresh, the condiments are fresh and they have ample seating. They keep the place clean and the restrooms are always clean. I have not encountered rude service, but very nice people, and they make subs very quickly for that rush hour lunch time. My two biggest complaints - Way overpriced! The subs should be way cheaper. Service! I have not encountered the rude service, but have dealt with the completely clueless sub maker and the "I really don't care" attitude, but not rude. Actually, what does gross me out now that I think about it is when paying the girl takes the money or credit card and has gloves on, then she makes food with the same gloves. The cold cut subs meet expectations but staff is frazzled when busy and process of call ahead versus waiting in line needs to be worked out. You can wait in line multiple times and get food faster than calling ahead. Also the chicken cheesesteak is simply not as good here as compared to the Howell, NJ location. Can't understand why. In general decent food and better quality than the lines of Subway but better Jersey Mikes out there. Staff could improve. read more

I will never order from this location again!! First of all let me start by saying in from wall and the workers here are definitely not from this area. They use to have great workers. Not sure what happened. I order a take out that consist of 8 subs. The guy on the phone was so rude i felt like telling him off but held back being that Jersey mikes was everyone's choice at my house. I then got there and my sister ran in to pick up subs. She said she felt so uncomforable walking in to pick-up the subs because the guy was very rude behind the counter and they did not seem like they knew what they were doing. We get home and good enough half of the sandwiches were wrong!!! Really???!!! My neighbors said they won't even step foot in there because they are horrible the past year. Yesterday was my last visit. I am sick of the rude staff and the manager who always has a bad attitude. Every time I go in the manager is a grumpy mess. The staff always looks sad and they are not nice to customers. Also, the prices have gone thru the roof. $15.00 for a giant sub and the kid making it is looking for the smallest pcs of bacon and puts only 2-3 pcs on. Yesterday, I mentioned it to him that he could add a few pcs and actually make a good sub for $15.00. He stated, "that's how we make it". Manager just stood there. Are you kidding me? Great customer service, guys. Also, I hand them my money for overpriced sub and do you think I get a thank you? Nope. Even I say "thanks, have a nice day...and nothing.
