    Veggie Omelette with Hash Browns

We were in Spring Lake for the weekend and we're looking for a breakfast spot. The Yelp rating for the Marigold Market & Cafe made it an easy choice! The rating was spot on! We had the Blueberry Pancakes and Veggie Omelette. The pancakes came and I was a little surprised as they weren't 'puffy and fluffy'. I make pancakes once a week and always strive for a fluffy pancake. However, there was no difference in the taste! These blueberry pancakes were delicious! I also asked for the 'pure maple syrup' which was an additional charge. We also shared the Veggie Omelette; what an amazing omelette it was! It was as fluffy an omelette as I've ever had, it was full of peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach and cheese! It was excellent! If you're in Spring Lake looking for a great breakfast place, look no further than the Marigold Cafe!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]We enjoyed the peaceful outdoor ambiance[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and Samantha's attentive service on a Tuesday for brunch. She recommended the Marigold Monte Cristo when I was torn between it and the Croque Madame, and I wasn't disappointed!

    Cute tablewares.

Everything you want in a breakfast place. Good food. Nice service and clean tables w vibrant atmosphere. We will be back. Thanks to server Megan and a busy bus crew including the hostess. Hope the sea salt chocolate chip cookie we brought home is equally good.

In town visiting family and found this place while meeting a friend for lunch. Outside eating was available but we chose to eat inside. Inside dining area is well lit and clean , plenty of natural lighting. Menu for breakfast offers plenty of variety, I chose the ham/cheedar/carmelized onion omelet. Nice portion and very tasty, the onions added a savory note and the plate comes with choice of toast and salad or hash brown. My buddy ordered 3 eggs over easy with the same sides.. overall an enjoyable environment to dine at with other then ordinary options to eat.. looking forward to another visit to try the fig jam!

Marigold's!! My "go to" place, whether dining alone, with family, or good friends! Never disappoints!

Heavenly atmosphere and the wonderful display of sweet treats greets you upon entering... Lots of space to social distance and outside seating optional with a large parking lot in front of the restaurant. A great deal distinctive food possibilities on the menu if you dare to try the duck & sweet potato hash or the French grilled ham sandwich with gruyere, Dijon and egg. Simply delicious as the food is very fresh. Love the matcha latte too. Cant say enough. Servers very friendly - will go back for lunch!

The signature drinks were awesome (I had the banana-rama an interesting take on an old fashion). Our waiter Pete was attentive, informative and professional while not rushing us or being intrusive. The food was very good. We shared the Olea Board for our party of 4 and it was a perfect amount and variety of food! The churros for dessert were excellent and should not be missed. The only negative was that we waited more than 30 minutes from our reservation time to be seated. While the manager was apologetic, they couldn't do much to get us seated sooner. He did tell us that our first round of drinks would be on the house. When we let Pete know when he brought the check, he adjusted it immediately. We will definitely be back!

When it was sold and opened as Olea, my friend and I waited until yesterday, Saturday, to try it. First, we were impressed with the outside entrance-way. Nicely decorated! The inside lobby area was okay; just very busy and a bit noisy with the bar but we had reservations for 5:30 on a weekend summer evening, so that's actually a good sign. We were seated right away in what they call the lounge. Don't let that fool you. It's made for a more intimate dining experience with tables for two or four. (The main dining room is more noisy, large, and great for parties of five or more.) The waiter (Sean?) was very attentive but not overly so, and that was great. In fact, it seemed that all the servers were attentive and made each individual table feel welcome. The menu is varied and the prices are actually reasonable for the quality. A wonderful crusty bread with a shaved cheese topping, olives, and a light olive oil was at our table right away. Which brings me to what we ordered. I had the prime filet which was buttery tender and cooked perfectly, my friend had the wagyu skirt steak which was also very good and had a lot of flavor. We shared the crispy potatoes, which was more than enough for both of us. Order those--they were delicious! We had the tiramisu which was a bit different from what we were used to, but it was still good and very filling, even though we shared. We each had a glass of wine with our meal, and coffee with dessert, and that all came out at appropriate times. As I said, the servers are very attentive and the kitchen has the food timed perfectly, which is hard to do on a busy weekend night in the summer. Edited to add: this is an upscale dining experience so business casual. We are definitely returning to Olea soon!

We had Randi as our server and as first time visitors to this Sea Girt location, she helped us get acquainted with the menu and the restaurant as a whole. We were scouting it out for the following day to watch the Knicks Finals game. The restaurant is loaded with screens! They have larger screens on the wall and smaller ones all next to each other above the bar. And they pipe in the game sound once the game starts! So all boxes were checked off for us. We also had a delicious lunch. I had the Apple Salad with grilled chicken. It was fresh as could be, huge and so delicious. One of the best salads I have had in a long time. My husband was just as happy with his Caesar Salad and hamburger patty. He raved about the hamburger meat and we both ate every morsel of our meal. A great location as we just had left the beach and were starving! Randi's service was top notch and she is super nice and friendly. Matt, the Manager also stopped by to check on us and make sure everything was OK, which was great to see. Part Two: Monday The next day, we watched game 3 of the NBA Finals at Tommy's. Now we're already starting to become regulars! We had Julian as our server. Another great Tommy's employee! Turns out he went to high school with our son! Small world. It was our first time watching a game at the restaurant. We had a huge booth and plenty of room. It was drink special night on Monday, so we got 1/2 price specialty cocktails, which was nice. We ordered bar food this time - - wings, brussel sprouts, Caesar salad and margarita pizza, all of which were very good. Very impressed with the wings, that are baked and come with onions and peppers on top. Julian kept our glasses and bellies filled and, even though the Knicks lost, we had an amazing time at Tommy's for the game. Thank you Randi, Julian & Matt for a great week at Tommy's. We will be back soon.

The servers were very helpful and friendly, they guided me through all my questions about menu choices. Its on the water, so we waited for an outside table. We only waited about 25 mins on a very busy night (we were quoted 45) which I was pleased by. The tuna nachos were my favorite bite of the night. The plate was giant to share and the flavors were delicious. I got the shrimp and lobster pasta and if you are considering that, I would pass. The shrimp had a funny, almost lemon essense flavor. The lobster was tasty (can't really mess up lobster). The pasta however was mucky in my opinion. The pasta itself was broken so it wasn't easy to twirl and the flavor was just very bland. My friends got the salmon and the shrimp. Both looked delicious. I do have to mention that we did love that the entrees came with a side salad. Overall it was a lovely spot. Absolutely beautiful there. Hang at the outside bar as you wait for your table!

I have no idea what changes might be made, but I will update this review accordingly when I go back. For now, I will add back on a star for their courtesy to me. I hope to be back this summer. I wanted to give this place 5 stars but I cannot. Went recently with my bestie for some post-beach oysters, drinks and snacks. I should have been suspicious when I ordered a glass of prosecco at the bar and it was just super cheap tasting. It was only $10 so I guess you get what you pay for. There was also a gross dirty napkin just sitting on the bar that was not attended to. At the table, I ordered their peach spritz. It was not spritzy and light as one would hope. It was extremely sweet and gloopy with syrup. Not refreshing. My friend had the strawberry mocktail and had to send it back due to its unpleasant taste. The waitress was pleasant and just took it off our bill. We ordered a dozen oysters. These oysters tasted flat like old gray dishwater. I think maybe the kitchen didn't bother to spot check quality. I think these were Blue Points, but they tasted like wet bathroom slippers. Next we had the clams. These were actually very good, but after the oysters, I was expecting very little. We then tried the crab cocktail. For $30, it was 3 tablespoons of crab on garnish lettuce. The crab was just so so, a bit dry, and totally not worth $30. We both decided to try the lobster bisque. They overloaded it with heavy cream. But the worst part was the garlic bread on top. Hard, chewy and clearly STALE. For the price and low quality, Marina Grille should be ashamed of themselves.

He could do Billy Joel to Elvis and played the guitar, keyboard and harmonica. He was right behind us and think it bothered him more about how close he was, but it wasn't an issue.
