Joe Spano was very easy to work with, very responsive to my requests and questions and worked to my satisfaction on pricing. He was very good at explaining everything in a way that I could understand. All of the workers were excellent. We had an un anticipated need to replace all the wood on our roof before putting down the shingles. While it was a freak out moment for me and additional expense,, Joe made it very easy to make the decision to move forward and eased our concerns about pricing and the extra work that had to be done. Taking this into consideration, all of the roofers came and from 7:30 in the morning until 6 o'clock at night made sure everything was perfect. The cleanup was impeccable. Pricing was competitive despite our surprise for the new wood. One of the workers even came back the day after to do some extra cleanup. Greg with Jersey Roofing LLC was the 9th out of 11 roof quotes I got for our little 1,800 sq. ft. house and I'm very glad we chose them. I didn't have to get 11 quotes and wouldn't recommend it but I would recommend homeowners get at least 3 quotes to be smart and safe + one of them is Jersey Roofing. I knew our roof was old because it had two layers of shingles on it and I feared we might have to pay for the short cuts taken by previous homeowners. That's why we considered how many sheets of plywood were included in all roof quotes. Then we took into consideration the additional cost of plywood, if they'd have to use more. We are glad we went through with this because once the old roof was taken off, Greg informed us that almost all the plywood was rotted and unsafe to proceed with. Part of our roof used half inch plywood while the other part featured 5/8 inch plywood. Greg was able to score us a discount off all the extra plywood in order to build the roof the right way. The roof was done in a day and everybody on the team was very friendly. One issue we encountered was a plethora of new and old nails around the yard and patio that Greg immediately remedied with sending somebody with a magnet to pick them up so our dogs' paws weren't at risk. On September 9th of 2024, I contacted Jersey Roofing LLC to reroof, reside, install gutters and two exterior doors. The roofing went well but they lied about how many roof wood panels had to be replaced when the salesman told me they replaced 20 but their foreman told me only 16 were replaced all of this at my cost. According to the contract, I was supposed to get 4 panels included in the price but was only credited for 3. I counted the panels removed and verified 16 were replaced. In addition while installing the siding, they destroyed almost all my walkway and yard lighting either by trampling them or tossing heavy debris haphazardly all over my property. They also left debris and nails all over my property that I had to clean up myself over the course of a few months. My cars as well as my mower suffered numerous flat tires as a result Despite my complaints to them. They completely botched the installation of both doors. I found out too late that they lied and did not even do or have any experience with doors and had to call in an outside subcontractor to repair the rear slider and install the front entry door which I found out later was the incorrect door for the jamb and incorrectly installed in the first place. When the front door failed to operate properly they declined to honor the warranty on it forcing the grant company to replace the door even after they had already paid for it thank God for them. Now I am having issues with two outside electrical outlets that removed and reinstalled incorrectly by their crew and again they are trying to avoid repairing them because they state they will lose money. So to them it's about money not about honoring their contractual obligations regarding our signed contract stating 50 years on materials and 25 years on the labor. I would advise everyone to stay away from Jersey Roofing because to circumvent their responsibilities, they are trying to say that I have caused those problems to my home which is a total fabrication. The work was done through a grant I received from Orange County Rural Development also known as Rupco and their representative has been trying to assist me with no positive results so far. read more

If you are looking at roofing reviews, it's likely you are in the same boat I was this past summer... looking to replace the home's roof. I spent a considerable amount of time researching shingles and their manufacturers. In addition, I had at least 9 estimates performed. The first step I took was to narrow things down to the product. North Jersey is inundated with GAF, but the facts kept driving me towards Owens Corning. I wanted a great product with an excellent warranty. Once I made the decision to go with OC products, I narrowed down my list of installers, first by requiring a Platinum Preferred Contractor. Then I poured over the reviews and checked the BBB. Finally, I called the remaining 3 contractors and asked them if they would guarantee the use of certain OC products, I asked them to confirm the warranty type - nothing but Platinum - and I asked any final questions. Greg Z. and Jersey Roofing came out on top. Greg readily agreed to use the OC materials I requested, which other contractors pushed back on, and of course included the Platinum warranty. Even then, the pricing was reasonable enough that I decided to do the gutters and leaf guards. When time came for the work, Greg stayed in touch often. The workers were courteous and were on time. Work took roughly 2 days for the roof and about another for the gutters and guards. Overall, they were efficient and cleaned up well. Very importantly, you can tell you are dealing with honest and reputable people / companies when any issues are resolved quickly, especially after you've paid in full, and when there are no surprises throughout the project. For example, my attic fan had to be replaced and the add-on price was very reasonable. Any issues were mostly related to the gutters, which were minor. They were taken care of quickly and efficiently. The final product looks great and should last a very long time. The warranty documents took a few weeks, but were delivered as promised. Overall, Greg, the crew and Jersey Roofing in general came out with flying colors and I couldn't be more satisfied with their work / my choice to go with them. Thank you Greg and team.
