First time, I hired them to do some reflashing along all sides of my Hoboken flat roof after I had some issues with leaking. Despite my roof already being under warranty from a previous owner through the original roofer, I had a hard time getting a hold of them and I didn't really trust them anyways. I'd rather pay someone to do the job right. Roof4Roof didn't come across as being super pushy and honestly suggested the work that needed to be done. Second time, I brought them out to replace some really old skylights that were super drafty and probably were going to start leaking any day. It's surprisingly hard to find roofers who want to replace skylights without doing a complete re-roof. I'm not really sure why. It shouldn't be impossible to just replace the skylight without impacting the integrity of the roof. Probably just a matter of other roofers just trying to get more money out of you. Roof4Roof made some good recommendations on what type of skylight to get -- again, not pushing the most expensive option but the one that made sense for my situation. Both times, I was happy with all of my interactions with Roof4Roof. I never had a problem reaching them either by phone or email when I needed to. That last part is key -- it's amazing how so many service providers only want to talk over the phone but I've done a lot of my business with Roof4Roof over email. Their prices may be a little higher than other roofers but you get what you pay for. Piece of mind and confidence in the people you work with is important to me. If there's any issues with the work that Roof4Roof did, I have confidence that I can call them and ask them to come out to resolve it. I get an estimate over the phone and we schedule a time for them to scope things out, with it explicitly stated that they would start repairs that day (as long as there wasn't any work that needed additional materials). A man comes...and doesn't have any of the necessary materials. I'm a bit annoyed and then the man says he actually can't do the inspection at that time and we have to reschedule. Apparently, he got lost on his way over and he is very packed that day so he can't even start the inspection, let alone the repairs we discussed. When the man drove into our driveway, he almost hit the bushes so I asked him to be more careful when backing out. He told me to 'relax' and then proceeded to almost hit the bushes AGAIN and we had to guide him out. It's a wide, 2-car driveway so not sure why he had this issue. I called the office and the staff was very apologetic. I appreciate that they were trying to get a higher-up who could offer a discount, but based on this experience, I decided to go elsewhere for service. The price was fair and the staff was friendly so I'm disappointed it went this way.

We had 3 roofs to be replaced, the main house, the standalone garage, and a flat roof, part of an extension to the house. The job was projected to take 2 days, but they finished in 1, promptly starting at 7:30 am and not leaving until 7 that night. Crews kept moving in and out all day to do different parts of the job. They are large enough for office staff, sales teams, work teams and site supervisors. If I had a smaller job in mind that might not have mattered to me but when I do a large job I like a company with support staff. (For me, two talented guys in a van and a wife who answers the phone is just fine for most work). I can attest they do upsell but I had no work done I did not need. I had made an effort to research roofing and gutter materials beforehand. I strongly advise interviewing other roofing/ gutter companies first and asking questions about installation and what *exact* materials they will use. Dior will send out a salesperson who will review the work you want done and the materials they will use. I was offered a discounted price for making my decision the same day and would not have felt comfortable accepting that discount if I had not spoken to several other vendors first. I don't like to make that kind of decision under pressure. I had looked at Dior because my usual preferred vendor would not install any shingles to replace those that might break when they removed them to install flashing up the sides where different roofline levels met. Dior will work with siding shingles as well as other siding. My site supervisor came each day, reviewed the job when it was done and sent a crew back for a minor adjustment. My only complaint was with the container company that drove over my lawn and sidewalk, cracking the blue stone sidewalk and leaving a tire impression in the lawn.
