    Falafel plate, very filling

The falafel plate I would eat every day their house made red chili sauce. There's more on the sweet side, but it hits perfectly mixing with the Tajín. I'm a big Guy and I like to eat, this plate hit the spot. I'm full. The flavor was amazing. When those falafel balls broke up the aroma that taste perfectly, nice and crispy and soft inside. The Tabula was exquisite as well. Staff are very friendly and a joy to be around.

Had this today and it was excellent. Portions were good, obviously everything is expensive now and businesses try to keep up but food was good, really good. Falafel wrap 10/10 the best falafel wrap I've ever had, wrap was thin, wrapped tightly, great sauce to meat ratio, pause. Great veg, loved the press this had. Combo platter 9/10 saffron rice was great, tasty salad, meat was seasoned well, touch dry, hummus was good as well. Fries 8/10 crisp and freshly cut, nicely seasoned.

Lamba Kofta, Chicken & Steak Skewer Combo plate

Was craving Mediterranean and this place not only impressed me but it's become an instant classic on my go-to's. Small-family owned and you can taste and feel the authenticity in the food l. I had the combo-plate with the Lamb Kofta, Grilled chix & grilled steak skewers. The Kofta was juicy, the steak was tender, and chix was full of flavor and not dry. I'm a big guy so I need big portions and not even I could finish it. Pay the $2 for the rice & hummus combo, it won't disappoint.

Been here twice now to try the wrap and the plate. I much preferred the plate however it's quite expensive for what it is and they charge you extra if you want both hummus and rice. I was really excited for the wrap because it was nicely toasted on the outside and pretty big but it was pretty much all salad greens with a few pieces of chicken that you could barely taste. I asked to add rice to both my wrap and my husband's but neither of us got rice so that was disappointing as rice probably would have made it much better. It was very filling due to the size but probably wouldn't get it again. The French fries are always fresh and hot so I appreciate that!

First time here, we actually were planning on having Thai across the street. But seen this spot and walked over. Small cafe type place, owners very friendly and greet you upon arrival. No sit-down menus so you have to order at the counter. But since there was only 1 person in the place it was fine. Ordering is quick and easy. Good amount of food for your buck.. soup could have had more flavor but we will order a different one next time. Falafels are excellent and chicken wrap was good. My platter had kebabs and all were flavorful. Definitely a place to come to lots of foot traffic, people ordering and picking up, seems like phone orders. And they are quick 8-10 minutes per orders.. thanks for the lunch we will be back..

Jerusalem Organic Kitchen is a hidden gem (easily missable from the street) but the food is delicious! I've been here a few times and always feel like the value and quality of the dishes is super high. The dishes are seasoned impeccably. I love that their tabbouleh is topped with roasted sesame seeds for example - adds so much flavor and texture. 10/10 would recommend this place!!!

The inside of Jerusalem Organic Kitchen looks quite rustic and dated, but this restaurant turns out seriously delicious and high-quality Israeli dishes! The Falafel Platter came with a colorful assortment of mezzes including four crispy, herbaceous chickpea fritters; hummus; baba ghanoush; Jerusalem salad (lettuce, tomato, and cucumber topped with za'atar); tabbouleh (parsley, bulgur, tomato salad topped with sesame seeds); feta cheese; olives; whole wheat pita bread; tahini; and a tomato-based hot sauce on the side. My favorite components were the falafel and hummus, which were both fresh and flavorful! The Combination Skewers Patter came with three freshly-grilled skewers: chicken, beef, and lamb kofta, and my favorite was the kofta, which was perfectly spiced and grilled to juicy perfection. The platter also came with Jerusalem salad, hummus, and pita, which completed the meal. Overall, the food here was fresh, vibrant, flavorful, and absolutely delicious!

I live down Solano and can't believe I have not walked into this place. I definitely will be back! My lamb wrap was fairly priced for the size of it (see photo). Falafels were on point too. Excited to try the other items in the menu next time.

It came with a side of coleslaw (3.5 Stars) and spiced honey (3 Stars). They fried a whole breast, it was so large that it over flowed the toasted brioche bun. The only thinking that made it spicy was the homemade spicy mayo, so it wasn't that spicy. I noticed on the menu they have sauces, like Nashville and buffalo. I think next time I'll try one of those sauces to kick up the heat. The cheese I add was not needed, I should have left off. The Fries (4 stars) were coated with potato flour and seasoning, which made a great crispy crust, served hot. Mac N' Cheese (4 Stars $6.49) I ordered the small 8oz, it was corkscrew pasta covered with a cheese sauce that was awesome with some Cajun spices, a like dirt Mac and some extra cheese on top. The burger was fresh and flavorful--you can taste the quality in every bite. The onion rings were on point too: crispy, not greasy, perfectly cooked. Dipping them into the habanero mayo gave it just the right kick. Definitely recommend that combo. The staff was friendly and kept things cool even though there were only two or three people running the place. The spot itself is small, just a few tables and chairs, with a little bit of Latin music playing in the background, which gave it a nice touch. When I first got there, it wasn't too busy, but by the time I finished, it was filling up. Walked around the block to stretch out, came back 15 minutes later, and the place was packed. What's also impressive is that their fried chicken sandwich was voted one of Yelp's Top 50 Fried Chicken Sandwiches in California, ranking #33 in the state. That's what I'm definitely trying next time. Final verdict: Great burger, great onion rings, friendly service, and a spot worth checking out if you're around University Ave in Berkeley. Two thumbs up from me.

What I don't understand is why I'm charged an additional $2.50 for the lettuce wrap when I'm not even getting the bun. If you're taking something away, what's the justification for adding an extra charge? I could understand a modest upcharge, but $2.50 for a few leaves of lettuce is hard to justify. I can buy an entire head of lettuce for about that price. What bothered me even more was that no one mentioned the charge when I placed my order. It wasn't until I picked up my food and saw the receipt that I realized I had been charged extra. Customers deserve to know about additional charges before they order, not after the fact. When I politely asked why there was a $2.50 charge, the employee simply looked at me and said, "I don't know." There was no explanation, no offer to ask someone else, and no attempt to address a perfectly reasonable question. That level of customer service was just as disappointing as the surprise charge. The burger was excellent, but this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. At this point, I don't plan on coming back. Or maybe I'll just bring my own lettuce next time. Better yet, just give me the burger without the bun, and I'll wrap the damn thing myself when I get home.
