She did a wedding trial with me and I hired her to do my wedding. She offered me 20% off on a hair appointment (color, cut, style) since I chose her to do my hair and makeup at my wedding. I have also never had anyone do my makeup before. I asked her to keep it very natural and light and she did just that with the perfect airbrush finish. She has a cute little salon with a beautiful flower mural that she does her before and after photos next to. My color and cut came out amazing and I'm thoroughly pleased. I've only walked out of a salon happy like 2 times in my life and she was one of them. She had a TV going which made the experience nicer as we laughed at a tv show. They refused to provide an arrival time or length of service despite multiple requests, leaving my timeline and vendor deliveries in limbo. Desperate and with guests already arriving in town, I had to take time to repeatedly call Lili until I finally reached her at COB Friday. I came to find out that while I had booked service with the owner Lili, she was not aware of my wedding details when we spoke and did not even know who would be coming to take care of me Monday - it clearly would not be her despite multiple confirmations otherwise. I am now two days before my wedding and have no one to do my hair or makeup despite months of planning. Lili seemed nice enough but when I spoke to her completely distressed, she quickly supplied a refund without any offer to make it right. Instead, she blamed the issue on an email hosting problem - she had not paid enough for email storage, rending her email useless - and told me sorry but no resolution. Apparently, their "policy" is to contact brides with confirmation, contact information and arrival time just two days before their wedding. I urge all brides to proceed with caution - Lili has a fantastic portfolio, but their planning process is completely unprofessional and has now cost me my bridal beauty moment. As I told her, "I will now be a shadow of the bride I had always dreamed and hoped of being." I never received a response.

I also found it confusing that her business is advertised on Yelp under a Tampa address, despite her not living in Tampa. Despite reaching out two weeks in advance, our refund was refused. What was supposed to be a special birthday gift has now left us out $450. After the way this was handled, we aren't even comfortable using the virtual lesson or transferable credit. There seemed to be zero compassion or flexibility for another person's honest mistake, even though no service had been performed. I understand businesses have policies, but I also believe there should be a human element to customer service. Unfortunately, that was completely missing from our experience.
