NOWHERE on her website does it mention this 20% policy; and she has NEVER communicated this policy to me. It's like she just dreamed it up. Let me add that she was out of the country on vacation so I could not come in earlier. I feel cheated and lied to. And she just lost a long-time customer. Also, she has you come to her house for services once you're an established customer. Just creepy; and I strongly suspect her Homeowners Association and her insurance policy don't know she is running a business out of her residence!

Then the day before my rescheduled appointment, they messaged saying my brow artist had a family emergency and that I would be seeing a different artist instead. I didn't see the message until the following morning and therefore never confirmed the change. At that point my appointment had already been changed once because the salon was closing on the original date and now the artist was changing again. Rather than proceed with an appointment that had changed multiple times due to circumstances outside of my control, I decided to cancel. I understand the salon's response will likely be that my appointment date and time remained the same, that they notified me of the artist change and that I canceled within their same day cancellation window. They also explained that their policy allows for a 100% same day cancellation fee and that they only charged me 50% as a courtesy. I don't dispute that they have a cancellation policy. My issue is with how it was applied in this situation. This wasn't a typical last minute cancellation where everything remained as originally booked. The business had already rescheduled my appointment once because they were closing and then changed my artist less than 24 hours before the appointment. I never confirmed that I was comfortable with that change before being charged. Emergencies happen and I don't fault my original brow artist for having a family emergency. My disappointment is with the decision to enforce a cancellation fee despite the multiple changes initiated by the business. In my opinion greater flexibility would have been the fairer approach. I disputed the charge with my bank and chose not to rebook. While I can't speak to the quality of their brow services, I can only review my own experience as a customer and unfortunately it left me disappointed with how the situation was handled.

They were completely non-understanding and insisted on charging me the full price of the appointment. They showed absolutely no willingness to compromise for what was going on in my schedule, and just made it all about getting their $$$. Will never be booking with this place again! Also - a word of caution about all the 5* reviews - after my first appointment I was offered a discount on my next booking if I left a 5* review and specifically mentioned the brow tech by name. She has her own super cute room with windows overlooking the park and the lighting is perfect for you to see your fabulous new brows and your spray tan! I always get the henna done on my brows as they are fairly thick already but being pale with dark hair the henna adds the perfect pop. Pam also does custom spray tan spraying in a private room to match exactly what shade for your skin tone. I've seen her do every type of eyebrow service and I can't imagine trusting a major part of your face to just anyone!

They last me about 2 weeks and I love the dramatic look I get when they're all done. I'm glam everyday. I've yet to push the button on eyebrow tattoo but I see it in my near future.

I went to Hien for an eyebrow wax/tint and she recommended an eyebrow lamination as well. Unsure of what it was, Hien thoroughly explained the process and the expected outcome.
