Every single time I come here the staff is great. Very polite and helpful. Pizza is the best in TOWN! 100% They have many options of toppings and sides to choose from. I've never had a bad dish from Jesse's Pizza. NEVER. Personally I like their Alfredo sauce with chicken and salami pizza, and side of bone in wings. I don't know what they do to their wings or how the make them but they are some of the best I've ever had in my life. I don't typically eat bone in wings due to not enjoying the texture of the tendons and fat they typically have. NOT HERE. They are pure meat, and delicious! HIGHLY RECOMMEND PIZZA AND WINGS HERE. Jesse's used to not be my favorite place to eat at, it always used to be super greasy in the past, but lately it's been pretty great, something has definitely changed. The pizza is good I can only review that. It's like a old school pizzeria simple doughy pizza. I'm pretty picky about pizza and I've eaten at many many pizza places as you can see in my profile and this is good. The cook level was s bit more cooked then other places which I like giving it a crisper color and texture. I got a personal pizza with 2 toppings of pepperoni and olives. It was like $8.40. They give you cheese and peppers packets free. The website doesn't show the whole menu which is stupid. The restaurant looks old but clean and organized. They got an A rating on their window. Customers service was good. I did pickup and it was ready on time. Prices could be a bit better. I will definitely come back and buy some special deals. Specially for parties. The pizza was pretty good nothing crazy but it was good for the price I got for a pizza wings and mozzarella sticks there is also different sides you can choose other than these two. The wings were pretty good same as the pizza nothing crazy but they were good. The mozzarella sticks I didn't really enjoy them they didn't have any cheese pull and the cheese just felt like it was freezer mozzarella sticks which is okay just not my ally but all in all I liked the spot they were fast and kind I would definitely recommend I give the food a 4 star but the place all in all a 5 read more

Pizza is great. I called in and ordered ahead before arrival. However, it was stated that my order would be 25-30 mins. I ordered at 6:12pm & didn't receive my order till 7:39. They had informed me that they went outside looking for me in the parking lot, little did they know I made known to April that I'd like them to call when my order was complete. Jesses has become the top pizza place but that is not saying much. I would compare it to a Little Ceasars. It is hit and miss with what the pizza looks like/whether it is fully cooked. You do get a lot of food for your buck, but it is not high quality. I will say that they have wonderful customer service when taking your order. I will take Jesses over West Best any day! read more

I thought this place was an outstanding pizza joint. The marinara sauce was unique and quite tasty. The staff were friendly and courteous. The side salad was fresh and a large portion size for the cost. They were very busy when I visited Sunday night but my order was ready early. The mozzarella sticks could have been fried for another 30 seconds but were still good just not super gooey. Most of the negative reviews were unfounded in my opinion (seriously 3 stars for running out of jalapeño!?). The lady behind the counter asked me to check everything to see if it looked good and met my expectations. So, anyone who leaves a bad review due to low quality has no one to blame but themselves. read more

The only reason I can't say their pizza is great, is because if you order a pepperoni pizza, typically, the cheese on top is brown, and it almost seems that they have it sitting for a while and then reheat it when needed. In short, this is the best pizza place in California City. I just moved to California City, and I have to admit the restaurant scene here isn't huge. Options are limited. I have been eating out a lot the past month, because I don't have a fridge yet at my new place, so it's difficult to cook. When it comes to pizza in California City, there are three options and Jesse's pizza is by far the best! Every time I have called the people on the phone have been polite and helpful. The driver's are amazingly friendly and quick. The pizza is good, but I like the lasagna more. The salads have always been fresh and include a lot of cheese, olives and tomatoes, which for a pizza place is top notch. I also like that they offer teriyaki sauce, which I enjoy as a special option on their Hawaiian pizza. They are open an hour later than the competition as well, which matters a lot to me because I am a night owl. Great service and they bring it hot to your door, for California City (which doesn't currently seem to offer postmates, doordash, grubhub etc.), that makes them one of the most invaluable businesses in the are in my opinion. read more

I had tried another pizza place in the city and the cost were pricey, the food not matching the pricey prices, and their cinnamon dessert turned rock hard before we could eat it. So we decided to try Jesse's Pizza and the food was so much better. The pizza was very tasty and their cinnamon dessert was so soft, warm and delicious!!!!! We are hard on pizza joints being from Chicago...but not only is the service top notch at this place...meaning that no matter when we've gone in the people have treated us great...but also the pizza is pretty decent...not our favorite! But definitely keep coming for the service...the crust is fluffy, the saucy is good with the right blend of tangy to sweet, and the cheese is delicious...oh and it's greasy like a great pie should be...you can't go wrong with one of these ones here...at least in Cali. read more

You used to be my favorite pizza place and now you've screwed over your customers so badly, I see you in business another 6 months to a year at tops and then you'll tank it like Albertos. Raising your prices beyond affordable now for most of us living in Cal City and now your ridiculous per ranch cup prices and this new rule of one ranch even if you order 10 orders of wings or 3 pizzas? That's not how a good business runs and you know it. The state of your salads with rotten ingredients should be reported to the health department, over saucing your pizzas to the point of more sauce than cheese and usually incompetent new employees being forced to handle phone orders that they aren't yet trained for and after waiting more than an hour to get my food, it comes wrong. Dirty, dirty, dirty! A couple of times, I've had my husband pick up our order and we didn't care for our items. Tried again but this time went to pick up order myself and I didn't dare eat anything because the business was filthy. Not because it was busy or they lacked employees either. You can tell it's been neglected. My family was hesitant in eating the pizza but they did and disliked it. Cleaning lists need to be made and completed daily. My first and last time ordering pizza online through their website. Boy, that was my first mistake. Thinking that if I put it in writing , they would understand exactly what I am ordering and there would be no excuse. Yeah, dammit, wrong again. I placed my order online at 5:35pm. The website said my 2 large pizzas with 2 toppings , my breadsticks with cheese and my calzone would all e ready between :6:02pm and 6:08pm. ok, so I headed to the grocery store first . I arrived to pick up my pizza a 6:19pm knowing I was a late but hoping that my tardiness would give the employees a chance to step up and have my order ready when I walked in the door. Nope, I was wrong again. After I paid the $52.00 bill for he pizza, I was then informed that it was not ready and would be another 10 mins. I told the girl behind the counter that I would be waiting right outside in the black camaro that was literally parked in the second spot from the door. What I didnt expect was to have to sit there for 25 minutes while they burned my pizza. Years ago, I reviewed this place as a 1 star. The last time we went, it was fantastic so upping the stars. We do not eat pizza often but it was so fabulous we even ate the crust. There was seasoning on it that just made you wanna eat the whole thing. When we decide on pizza again this will be our go to. Thanks for the much needed improvement.
