A solid pizza joint when visiting Wrightwood, CA…read more We spent a relaxing weekend getaway recently in Wrightwood. It was after the snow season with light crowds and locals. On our way up, we called in an order for pickup, and it was ready when we arrived in town. We ordered a few large pizzas and some hot wings. The Raccoon Special, Cheese, and Gourmet Pesto Pizza were all hot and delicious. They didn't skimp on the toppings. I was surprised by how stacked the Raccoon Pizza was and the amount of olives in the Gourmet Pesto Pizza. The hot wings were a good size, and the sauce was tangy and tasty. It also came with a couple of ranch dressing dip. The menu also offers pasta, calzones, salad, garlic bread, and more! There are no tables inside, but there are a few outside to dine at. The staff was kind and hardworking, quickly preparing orders. The prices are reasonable for the quality. They also have a variety of merch if you want to further support. Arriving for pick up, the building has a cool local vibe. I can also see this place being busy in the winter. I can't wait to grab a few more pizzas again or try more of the menu when he visits again.

I loved the artichoke and ham slices on the pizza and how you could choose two different crusts for a single pizza. The online menu was easy to order from. I liked the cheese islands on the cheese pizza. My picky toddler ate it which made me so happy. I liked that the pizza wasn't too saucy nor too salty. The bad: The pizza was a bit over cooked with some black burnt edges and a hardened crust. The salad dressing was packaged and not made in house. The interesting: Delivery orders take 45 minutes and takeout orders take 30. The prices are very fair and there are many menu options.

This place is definitely one to take a breakout, go to the restroom, buy some snacks and purchase a whole bunch of stuff. Of stuff you never even knew you needed or wanted. Seriously, so much to see and do in this place. It could eat up a couple hours with no problem. They definitely have enough gas pumps to take care of a huge crowd, more plushed animals than I have seen in one location, a full-blum food court, more snacks than you could possibly eat in a lifetime, and of course homemade ice cream! Like no fooling, this place is definitely one you want to bring the whole family to. But don't blame me if you walk out of there with your credit cards maxed out. That's on you my friend. Bottom line? If you are ever going to or from Las Vegas Nevada you really need to stop and check this place out. It is worth getting off the freeway for.
