This review is for a round trip flight from LAX to JFK in Mint Class! I traveled to NYC last month for 8 days and besides the hiccup of my flight being delayed an hour going to JFK, everything else was fantastic. It's June 2021 and I wasn't sure what to expect on flights right now considering everything the airlines have been through in the last year. To my surprise, they served a hot breakfast going to JFK. The menu consisted of 5 options and you pick 3 you would like. The breakfast quiche, avocado toast, Danish and mimosa were all good. My bose headphones were not working (urgh) and in mint they have really nice headsets so you can watch movies. Their movie selection however was not the best. Not too many films and majority of the "new" ones I never heard of. Delta has a much better movie selection. The dinner on the return flight was amazing as well...pork shoulder, leeks, tomato soup and a fancy vanilla ice cream for dessert. The best thing about flying mint in the individual seats is that you have a door you can close for privacy. This comes in handy when you want to lay back and relax and not be disturbed. Other nice touches were a hand written note thanking you for flying Jetblue and chocolate covered cashews. Based on the price of this flight (booked 2 months in advance) I would definitely fly Jetblue Mint again. All the flight attendants were professional and friendly, and I'm glad they had their hot meals and full beverage/cocktails back! Highly recommend! read more

I took a flight from London to LAX with a 2 hour layover in NYC. The first flight was amazing! Free blankets and ear plugs. Free pizza and beer and wine! I was impressed! The leg room was amazing! Then lol on the second flight in the states I asked for a blanket and they charged me $10!!! LOL two totally different experiences but overall I'd fly with them again. read more

This is the worst airline in the world. I booked and paid extra for a nonstop flight 6 months in advance for myself, wife and kids and they changed it to a layover flight with the arrival time being midnight. They made sure to give me the worst flight schedule possible so they could save money while ripping me off. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

I fly every year for business and vacation but this is the worst customer service experience i have ever had with Jetblue flight attendants who are so rude and careless that treat customers like beggars for just asking for a cup of water. I saw an empty row, so since the lady next to me asked me to move for her to go to the bathroom, I temporarily sat at one of the empty rows above and the flight attendant stormed in and yelled at me for like 15 minutes bc the empty row are paid rows. I totally understand but where are your basic manners and do you really need to yell at me in the crowd like that?? My bad for choosing Jetblue bc of the free WIFI but will never fly with JetBlue again even it's free because of the most terrible and horrifying flight attending services. read more

We are very experienced senior citizens having traveled extensively on various other airlines in business class (your Mint) and have reasonable expectations of the nature of service that can be expected for the premiums paid for this class of travel. This is our first experience with JetBlue, and JetBlue failed our expectations on every count. From the moment the car dropped us at Terminal 5 at LAX we were disappointed to discover that JetBlue did not provide access to a lounge, and we were to learn that the same was to be true in Boston. The inflight service between LAX and Boston was fair but not at the level to be expected for that class of travel. In short "Mint" was a disappointment. Then in Boston when your equipment developed a malfunction on the runway, after nearly three hours of failed attempts to do repairs we were deplaned at 2:30 am into a deserted and closed terminal with no access to a lounge, no food service or other amenities, and then, of course the flight crew timed out and a replacement crew was to arrive within 2 hours, which they did not and of course the flight was cancelled. I am 80 years old, my wife 66, we book business class travel to ease the strain of travel, expecting services to help in the case of unforeseen issues. Again, JetBlue failed. After the announcement of the cancellation, we were sent back down to ticketing agents, who were unable to provide any reasonable alternative flights, no recommendations for hotel accommodations, no access to airport lounges, no transportation or any assistance at all. Basically, two elderly people were dumped in a strange city at 3 am and abandoned by JetBlue. After, numerous phone calls we were able to determine on our own that there were no hotel rooms available in Boston or surrounds, and we were finally able again on our own, to purchase the last two remaining non-stop economy flight seats on Delta to Amsterdam leaving in the afternoon We were forced to spend the night in the lobby of an airport hotel, in chairs with no privacy or amenities as no rooms were available. Two elderly affluent business travelers relegated to temporary homelessness, without sleep for 30 extremely stressful and health threatening hours. In short JetBlue failed and we will never fly with you again, and will actively discourage others from doing so read more

Wound up on jet blue flight 1124 from lax to jfk today because my delta flight was over three hours delayed. Didn't want to as I'm about 25k from 1M miles. Had a bunch of trash stacked on my tray on the aisle as the attendant was walking by asking for trash. Clearly trash as a can was stacked on an empty plastic bin. She passed by, I said something, she did not turn, so I lightly tapped her arm, only to be scolded "don't tap me". I'm a pretty easy going guy, always fly Delta, generally because my perception is airline customer service is trash, and this was a great example. I wasn't really asking for service, just timely get rid of my trash which she was seeking. This incident overshadowed an otherwise great experience. It looks like reading online that some think you should never touch the attendants. I'm still thinking this could have been handled much better. I'm sticking with Delta! read more

We returned from our cruise to LAX to check in for flight home to Reno. We went to the JetBlue ticket counter and entered the wrong line. The counter agent, Kristoher, greeted us and informed us we were in the wrong line but he would help us since it was slow. We were new to JetBlue. We were going to ask for an earlier flight home but to our original booked flight was to depart at 545 pm rather than 8 pm listed on our NCL flight plan. We were confirmed, got our boarding pass. Kristopher walked to us the kiosk went step by step in the process of checking in, processing our baggage, got our bag tags, applying our bag tags and taking our checklist bags. No stars. This was the worst experience that I have had with an airlines. First to say that you have at least 6 people at the counter, on their phones. Then when they decide to ask if you need assistance your time to check your luggage in has passed. We were due to catch a flight at 6:30. Arriving at 5:40. Mind you, we did everything online prior to just needing to check our luggage in and get it on the conveyer belt, but we were approached, directed and lied to by Kathaleen, Kathee, not sure of the spelling, refused to give correct spelling, name period. Just call me Kat. We'll Kat that was not what I read on your name badge that was trying to hide by your sweater. I feel thatKathaleen, Kathie, which ever is the correct name, but I did snap a pic cuz i am filing a complaint to all upper management, transportation, etc. Kathleen deceived us. Laughed and lied in our faces. Kathleen was told by her Supervisor to do a task and Kathaleen did not process the task. We traveled many miles to be deceived. Kathleen, work ethics were not up to par. Please help me understand how someone of her Caliber works with the public. Lying and deceitful!! read more

I never thought I would ever write a review like this for anyone especially Jet Blue Airlines. This review should be called Flyer Beware. I had flown Jet Blue for years in fact I loved Jet Blue so much I would literally drive an extra 30 minutes past the closest airport to fly Jet Blue. I do a lot Of travel for business and pleasure and had made Jet Blue my number airlines to fly. That all ended this past week when I was treated worse than I had ever been treated by an airline. It all ended when they decided that they were not going allow me to use the money that was in my travel bank. money that was put into my travel to be used for a future flight. I actually forgot about it because when my flight was canceled it was durning Covid. A time when no one could control anything going around them including being able to travel. They told me that I should have used it sooner. What I find interesting is since when does money expire. They were just holding my money in their travel bank. I also wonder what they actually did with my money. I feel like someone stole money from me and there is nothing I can about it. On top of trying to get to use my money in the travel bank the customer service department treated me the worst I've ever been treated by an airlines. So flyer beware, if your flight is cancelled for whatever reason and Jet Blue tells you they will just put the money into a travel bank for future flights. DO NOT TRUST JET BLUE they will steal your money and tell you your travel bank is empty. Well thank God for Delta it looks like they will be my Airline of choice from now on. read more

First and last time using jetblue This airline has one of the worst statistics for flight delays. I got to experience that first hand on both my departing and return flight with them. No excuses. Weather was bright and sunny All other airlines at the airport's display showed on time. Just jetblu. BOTH times!!! Had the worst Mint experience ever today traveling from FLL to SFO on the 7:45 am flight! Had to ask twice for headphones which took a half an hour to finally get! (usually they are offered to all in Mint at the start of the flight)...then the tv did not work...movies did not play...the flight attendants were the worst I've ever had. We're two hours into the flight and still no food, no coffee, nothing! Ugh! Why pay for Mint to have such a bad experience? What's going on JetBlue? Not usually like this! read more

RUN DON'T WALK AWAY FROM JETBLUE. Brutal customer service! We booked the perfect "Direct" flights to Fort Lauderdale, from San Diego, and back. 4 months in advance! They canceled our flight there 1 month later, and our return 2 months after that. We had to scramble to take whatever we could to get there a day earlier and leave 5 hours earlier on the return. The return is now a stop over, and we get into San Diego about the same time but leaving 5 hours earlier. It came down to them just doing one thing to make my experience feel like any other airlines with good customer service. In all of the alliterations of my flights being canceled and costing more money than the original, my checked bag that I paid for going to Fort Lauderdale, wasn't on the final return flight. You would think that $35, would be the least they could do for the misery they caused. You would think adding a bag onto my reservation and waiving the fee would show good customer service since I now have to spend $400 on a hotel room because the canceled my red eye flight to Florida, and I now need to fly out the morning before.... but no, they are not like any other airlines, they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never again, will I book a flight with JetBlue. read more

We were so disappointed when we arrived for our flight to check in. There was a huge line of people waiting to get their questions answered because when you book your flight online, you choose your seats. But apparently you don't get the seat you choose unless you pay an extra $144. You cannot sit with with your spouse or friend unless you pay for the seats. So basically, you think your choosing your seat when you book your flight and you will sit with the person you are flying with, but you don't find out until you get to the airport to check in that you must pay extra to be able to get the seat you chose. There were a lot of angry customers. So disappointed in Jet Blue! read more

Let me see. Canceled flight after boarding, then in some amazing way lost my luggage after goin nowhere. Impressive. Finally found my way to sister's wedding ( no bridesmaid dress). But on the plus side got a$24 lunch voucher. Going to cancel my jet blue card for fear it too could come down to the same level as the air line read more

After flying Virgin Airlines, I didn't think I would come across an airline that matches them. Well, I was proven wrong. JetBlue meet all my expectations, and made my flight to New York a comfortable one. The boarding was on-time, and relatively hassle-free. I like the interior, as it had a blue hue to it. There were screens for each seat, with movie and show options for free. The seats were comfortable, and I had no issue with the people next to me. The staff was friendly and attentive. I found that the food they offered is actually good quality. The sandwich was rather dry, but the taste and quality was better than on other airlines. I was given small bottles of water instead of cups, and they let me have extras. The ride was comfortable, from LA to NY. I'm glad I picked this airline for this trip. I hope they keep up their good track record. Thanks, JetBlue! read more

I haven't flown Jetblue in a long time bc the last time I flew them to Vegas, my flight was delayed over 3 hours. I could have driven to Vegas faster. In addition, after I complained, Jetblue offered me nothing. I made the mistake of flying them from LAX to JFK and lo and behold, I'm on a 6:15 am flight, and my flight is delayed again. Reportedly it was due to bad visibility in NYC bc of rain. However, if I would have flown a real airline I bet my flight would not have been delayed. This piece of shit airline has a plug in for your chargers that are under your seat, difficult to access, and you have to share with other passengers. Secondarily, they have movies like Back to the Future and shows like Friends that are so fukn dated, and Out of TV coverage so there is nothing to watch. Lastly, the entertainment center stopped working mid flight, so it was totally worthless to me. To add insult to injury, they don't offer any food except chips, and seat by row starting with the rear of the aircraft. However, I was in row 17, but there were many people seated in rows ahead of me when I boarded. In addition, the overhead bin for my row was full, so I had to put my luggage quite a few rows ahead. Lastly, after you land in JFK, there is a long mthrfukn walk to get a taxi!!! I've never had the bad consistency with other airlines, so its gotta be Jetblue. After I filed a complaint, they offered me $30: Fuk U JetBlue! I'm never flying your piece of shit airline again!!!!! read more

Really Disappointed in the Service we received from New York Based Flight Crew Flight # 2824 September 9,2023 from LAX. The Stewardess on the Microphone sounded as if the passengers were a bother in her day. Felt very unwelcome, no one smiled. Andre was the sole steward that smiled and said Thank you while collecting the trash and serving the refreshments. While exiting the plane, only one of the other Steward said Thank you to all Passengers but it Definitely felt Forced. Not genuine or appreciative. I used to rave about Jet Blu before but after this experience may not anymore. Hopefully my experience on my next flight will be much much better. read more

But the all of the sudden fortnite got shut down because of your bad wifi. So I wonder if I leave a review you would notice and fix the problem that I am having with your airlines. JetBlue is the only airline (as of Nov 2017) that offers non-stop service to/from LAX to BUF (Buffalo Niagara International Airport). The flight from LAX to BUF is a red-eye flight and the return flight is 6~7 PM flight Another important information - JetBlue moved from LAX Terminal 3 to Terminal 5 on May 17, 2017. The boarding system is based on different groups (Group A to E). Here are some of pros and cons about JetBlue: Pros: * I got a snooze pack for my red-eye flight (ear plugs and a sleep mask). * I signed up for JetBlue Fly-Fi account during the flight and got unlimited Wi-Fi during the ENTIRE flight. * Snacks were actually pretty good (excellent chips). * More leg room! Cons: * No USB port to charge my phone. * On one of my flight, one of flight attendants gave me the wrong coke and later the passenger who sat behind me passed down the coke to me. read more

If I could give a zero star...I would. This airline is absolutely a nightmare. They constantly have many last minute long hour delayed flights and cancelled flights without any legitimate reason. They have many computer glitches and their customer service is horrible. They are rude, unwilling to help and do not know what they are doing. Good luck calling them or chatting with live agents, waiting time 2- 6 hours. Save yourself by staying away from this airline. read more

JB referred me to an "authorized" ticket seller while their website was down. I booked, paid extra to select seats for a child, and got confirmations from both the authorized seller and JB. But the confirmations didn't match. JB claimed that -- ticket seller authorized-smotherized -- it was my problem and told me I would have to pay them directly for the seats. Ended up paying twice because I trusted JB and its referral to its seller. JB got the seat fee out of me but guaranteed that I will never book with them (or allow anyone I love to book with them) ever again. Strange way to conduct customer service. read more

I've flown a lot over the years and have never been made to wait on the tarmac for over an hour until JetBlue. Several passengers around me are stressed out about connecting flights, some have had to use the restroom before we even landed, and there's been one long incessant beep occurring since we began to taxi off the runway. It's an absolute nightmare and easily one of the worst flight experiences I've ever had. And again... I fly a lot. Edited to add that almost half the flight did not have functioning entertainment systems from NY to LA. read more

I go treated unfair and unpleasant during my flight #24 09/20/21 from Los Angeles to New York. Flight attendant name Shirma ( african-American woman) not allowed me to seat on empty row when I came to airplane last passenger explained that waiting for late people. Few minutes later she took girl from different aisle ( she was African-American too) and placed on empty seat. When I ask flight attendant why she not allowed me seat there first , Shirma call security and they took me away from the flight! Why ? For asking simple question??? It's racist , doesn't it? read more

What the heck happened to this airline? They used to be stellar and I only fly mint. Which is their version of first class. Trying to get someone on the phone or even in a chat from Customer Service is virtually impossible. From all the other negative reviews, I see on here. I think the CEO should be fired and start over with somebody who knows what they're doing. read more

Jetblue canceled my flight last minute. Next available they said (out of Vegas to LA) was not for 24 hours. They said they would reimburse for hotel taxi and food. Their policy was ridiculous as they only offered to cover 1 room for 4 adults who were not related and different sex. They also only gave $12 per meal for 3 meals. You can't get fast food for $12. Then, when i came time to file for the reimbursement, their system is broken at best. Took HOURS to try and figure it out. Then 2 weeks later, i called as i got no response. Told i called too soon. Called 2 weeks later, was told they didn't see it and it was because i didn't send PDF forms. Told me start over. I couldn't find the email they originally sent with link to file. THey said they couldn't re-send!!! Now sitting on hold with customer service for ANOTHER hour with them trying to figure out how to send me the form. SO clear that they only offer to cover because the DOT makes them but even worse, then setup a process that makes it impossible to actually collect. read more

I have a much better opinion of JetBlue since I last flew them a couple of years ago. My plane was old and my TV wasn't working. It looks like they've updated most (all?) of their aircraft, as my plane from LAX to AUS was a much better experience. I had a full A/C outlet at my feet and USB in multiple places, and all of the TV's seemed to work great. I had free wifi on my phone, not sure if that was intentional, but it made the flight go by quicker. Free snacks from the friendly staff. Other than the fact that I couldn't figure out how to pair my Bluetooth headphones to the TV, it was a great flight experience. read more

On April 27th of this year, I purchased two nonstop return tickets, using Fare Bloom, to Toronto from LAX. These flights were operated by JetBlue. At some point in between the confirmation of purchase in April and the return trip from Toronto to LAX on Aug 22 the return flight was canceled by JetBlue. Arriving at the airport in Toronto, unaware of this flight change, the JetBlue agent informed us that we were no longer booked on a direct flight from Toronto to LAX but their airline partner Delta had a flight from Toronto to Salt Lake City and then another from SLC to LAX which we could take. Unfortunately for us, they claimed they could not put us on these flights but sent us to the Delta counter to do so. The Delta agent informed us that while such flights existed JetBlue, who had canceled our original return flight, had not reserved seats for us on alternative flights. The Delta agent did put us on these flights but the SLC to LAX flight would have to be the next day. Fortunately, we had arrived at the airport four hours early so even after standing in the JetBlue line, Delta line, and customs we managed to catch the SLC flight. For reasons that were avoidable we now had expenses for an extra night at a hotel, a day of parking at LAX, and pet care, which we were fortunate to be able to arrange. read more

Hands down the worst airline. Would give it a zero star if that was an option. Zero care for customer service, most unfriendly and untrained flight attendants. Made the mistake of booking a flight with them from JFK to Burbank to avoid having to fly to LAX. 6 hour flight ended up taking well over 11 hours, with the plane having to refuel on two occasions (reslly). Plane taxied for an hour and a half at JFK (I was starting to think pilot was gonna drive us back to LA instead of flying), then ran low in fuel, had to return to the gate to refuel, then taxied for another hour before finally taking off. And all this time, the flight attendants were on their phones. Not a single one came by to see if passengers were ok or offer even a cup of water. Zero announcements from the pilot or anyone as to what in the world was going on. Scheduled arrival was at 8:30 pm in Burbank and instead ended up landing in LAX at 1:30 am. Zero apologies, nothing, other than an announcement that they would cover the Uber cost given the plane bringing us to the wrong airport. But good luck even getting the ride share reimbursement. They even made the reimbursement process so difficult as to not making it worth the time getting $70 back. Will never fly Jet Blue again. Avoid this worst of the worst airline at all cost. read more

Worst experience ever 15 min before my flight from lax to ffl supposed to depart they notify that's its 3:30 hour delayed Claiming wheater problems (witch can happen) But 15 min come on that's unprofessional and a joke called customer service took 30 min to answer They acted as this is normal First and probably my last read more

What a wonderful experience traveling from LAX to Austin. The pilot did such a smooth take off and landing to perfection. Also, the staff were super friendly and polite. Covid has made so many travelers on edge with videos online of attendants pulling off a Pregnant woman and her 2 year old. Seriously a situation that could have been avoided without so much anxiety and stress. I was pleasantly surprised how this flight staff was cohesive and the pilot was communicating with the staff. I have a great respect for those who are responsible for our safety in the air and surely this particular Captain was seasoned and it showed. I wish I knew names because everyone was great! Oh and I must add JetBlue seats, leg room, and free TV, along with Wifi was all an added pleasure to the experience! read more

Just arrive 20 minutes before your flight and they take care of everything. My favorite part is that they have their own security so you don't have to go through the regular tsa security. No self parking, you can valet or just uber here. Good snacks and coffee while you wait. I know a lot of people have a lot of complaints about Delta Airlines. But, you have to keep everything in perspective with all domestic carriers. They're all pretty much the same. They all try to do a good job. But, sometimes problems arise. Hopefully that won't happen to you. Personally, I've never had any real issues with Delta Airlines First Class. Sure, sometimes the flights are a bit delayed, but they've never been massively delayed or anything like that. That's a good thing. In terms of service, I really recommend that you fly First Class on Delta Airlines. Sure, it's not anything near International First Class. That's a completely different ball game. But, flying domestic first class really gives you a bit of an advantage. First of all, you get to board the plane first. Meaning, you're allowed to get to your seat, put your bag away, and sit back and relax while all the other passengers struggle to find their seat and a place to put their carry-on luggage. In terms of what they offer for food and drink, it's all complementary. Is it great food? No, not really. It's pretty much what can be expected. But, it is a step above economy class, and certainly you don't have to pay for it. This is the same with their drink menu. Anything you want to drink, alcohol included, they provide to you for free. Plus, you do get a considerably larger seat than the ones they offer in economy class. Overall, as with all flights, you just have to be prepared to accept what's going to happen. Certainly, we all want the best experience possible. And, for the most part, Delta Airlines has never let me down. But, you have to be willing to roll with the punches. The best way to do that, I believe, is to fly Delta First Class. It really takes a lot of the edge off the trip, and makes the whole flying experience a whole lot better.

My plane left Los Angeles International (LAX) exactly as scheduled, flight preparations were organized and folks got in line according to their assigned zones. Many of our senior citizens in wheelchairs were allowed first and there were a lot of staff who facilitated the departure protocols. The flight was very smooth with some bumpy ride along the mid-flight but seems comparably similar with any other flights I've taken everywhere. The stewards and stewardesses seemed not so sweet and focused, not the usual, can we offer you something"? I'd say, it's probably cultural although this are just observations on my part, since this time, I bought an economy class ticket during the last minute. Eva Air has the best food compared to other airlines that fly the SEA route, chicken pasta, Chinese-style cooking and a comprehensive fruits and sandwich galore accompanied our meals. The timeline for serving food and snacks was perfect, not so late nor early, just about right. They also seem to recognize our need to sleep and allowed quiet and dark during our flight and bathrooms were also clean and fully packed with everything we needed. One observation is the wide seats and better spacing of their plane compared to other Asian airlines, who pack their seats and seem very tight and skimpy. The stay over transition was alright although they (Eva Airlines transition staff) keep asking for printed tickets in Taiwan when some of us had difficulty activating our phones to show them our online boarding tickets. Since passengers aren't able to access anywhere, they should have a better way of not trying make us feel, we have to painstakingly look for a WiFi access (was too weak for an international airport and inconvenient to those travelers just passing by) to be able to show them our boarding tickets again! Our transfer trip wasn't too bad as we safely landed in Manila on time as scheduled, and smoothly.

What should have been a routine international flight turned into a painful, distressing, and costly ordeal. 1. Dangerous and Unsafe Lavatory Conditions The lavatories on board were shockingly cramped and inadequate. While inside, the extremely tight space caused me to hit and injure myself. To make matters worse, there was almost no ventilation--after using the toilet, I completely ran out of air and struggled to breathe. Having a passenger suffer physical injury and air deprivation inside a aircraft lavatory is a severe safety hazard that needs immediate attention. 2. Damaged Property Despite "Fragile" Tagging I checked my luggage in Bangkok, where staff applied a FRAGILE sticker. However, upon retrieving my bag in San Francisco, I was appalled to find deep scratches all over the suitace. The fragile tag was completely ignored, and my luggage was handled with total disregard, leaving it permanently damaged. 3. Abysmal Customer Service in San Francisco When I went to report these issues at the EVA Air baggage desk at SFO, the customer service team was extremely rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Instead of offering assistance or showing empathy for my physical pain and damaged property, they brushed me off. 4. Zero Accountability or Compensation To date, EVA Air has failed to take any responsibility. I have received no reimbursement for my destroyed luggage and no offer of compensation for the pain, suffering, and distress caused by their unsafe lavatory setup. I strongly advise travelers to think twice before booking with EVA Air. Their lack of passenger safety, poor baggage handling, and hostile customer service are completely unacceptable for a major airline.
