We got the Detroit style pizza with turbo crust. Unsure what the turbo crust really is other than being delicious. "Normal" amount of sauce was pretty light so it's a good thing we ordered extra sauce on the side. The sauce was on the sweeter side. The cheese was tasty and crusty was crunchy. When traveling to the Chi town area this is one of my favorite pizza places. While I've only ordered from here a dozen times, I now have at least two dozen at each of the Jets in the area. The pizza is always a cut above. It's the consistency. If I order the same double mushroom-double chees, it'll be just how I expect it. They also serve an excellent Detroit style pizza replica and their square pizza is excellent, too. Try the thin crust and the wings. My friends order that from time to time and ole' Steven E sneaks his share of their pie, thank you! I'm not a fan of the cinnamon sticks, everyone else in my party raves about them. You should tack-on an order and see what you think. Keep in mind when you eat Detroit style deep dish...it's gonna be greasy. That's the situ. That's where the flavour is! I've read a few reviews that have a star or two shaved off for this. That's actually a mistake. Just a note on the service. These kids are fast and friendly. It's a machine. A well oiled machine. Like another Detroit legend, Henry Ford and his assembly line, these guys are efficient and accurate. I was so ecstatic when I saw this location & that it delivered to me! I'm a newb to this neighborhood... & so I'm stuck in that limbo of being hungry but being cautious, too - who wants to order bad food? In all fairness, I've only had Jet's once, back home in the city. It was amazing... & thankfully, this place is, too. I was laid up with a bad back last night and not able to cook dinner. My husband had been wanting to try Jet's for awhile being a huge fan of Detroit style pizza so we gave it a try. It was really good. I never had that style of pizza because it always looked so "doughy" and I like thin crust. Not the case with this. The crust was light and airy, the toppings were delicious and fresh, the sauce had a bit of sweet to it. I can't wait to go back and get it again! read more

This is by far the best pizza I have ever had outside of Connecticut and that's coming from an east coast guy who grew up in New Haven, CT where the best pizza is made such as New Haven's Frank Pepe's Pizzeria Napoletana and Modern Apizza also in New Haven and my #1 favorite Kimberly Pizza. This pizza has the flavor, taste perfect ingredients, perfect crust is just that amazing, I order a medium pepperoni & grilled chicken with the garlic crust and it did not disappoint me it was so delicious I was sad when it end it. When I'm around this area again I will stop by the actual restaurant to enjoy it even more, delivery [UberEats] was fast since due to the distance I was afraid their delivery was not possible but wow it was delicious to the last bite. read more

So I stopped off at Jet's Pizza after going to Red habanero and having a lackluster carne Asada. They have a special two slices of Sicilian type pizza and a soda for $5.49. Let me tell you about this pizza first off I ordered a slice of pepperoni and a slice of sausage it came piping hot the crust was amazing it had some type of Parmesan cheese flavoring on crust it was very thick and had great toppings the cheese was melted good and the sausage And pepperoni were cooked to perfection. If you haven't tried Jet's Pizza you do not know what you're missing! First off, when I order Jet's I always get the 8 corner pizza. None of the pieces are "in the middle". Meaning each piece has crust, which is like the best part. Also, they have tons of different crust varieties. I like the Turbo Crust and the Cajun Crust (slightly spicy). They always cook the pizza until it is slightly crispy on the bottom and sides. I really haven't had any other items, and my rating is strictly for the eight corner pizza. I loved jets. Great options. Awesome crusts. Yesterday tho well its ruined for me now. Got two pizzas delivered at 330 placed the order round 130 for the delivery at 330. Pizzas were luke warm at best which we prob shouldnt have eaten them considering they were prob made around 145 2 and sat for an hour. We all have food poisoning been coming out both ends. Got a coupon in the mail and it reads...$11.99 large pizza premium mozzarella and 1 topping plus free jet bred. First line on the Back of the coupon says delivery minimum applies. Call in..order the pizza and was told this is not for delivery...i asked why the coupon mentioned delivery (was adding more to the order) and was told by the manager she didnt know. The sizes are confusing and trying to get answers on the phone is just as confusing. They answer you with, ie. That's 10 slices, that's 15 slices etc. Anyways I ordered a large thin sausage and 2xl supreme. First off the large is the size of a small, no doubt about it. I almost ordered 3 large for 10 people and I read a review of someone stating this. Luckily I changed to 2xl pizzas because I ate the large myself and I'm not a big eater. This would have been a sad situating if I walked in to feed 10 people 3 larges. The pizza would have been rated a 4 star, service a 5 star, and the menu and sizes a 1 star.
