CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE!! We had an online delivery order (that also included a 20% tip and totaled $102) that included an extra large pizza with 3 toppings and a small pizza with 3 different toppings and they were both wrong after being delivered over 50 minutes after our order was placed. When we called back, the manager only offered to make replacement pizzas and no additional compensation offer whatsoever and those pizzas were not delivered until an additional 40 minutes later AND then the delivery driver demanded that we give him the original pizzas that were screwed up (again with no compensation offer whatsoever)!! Finally, when I called back to speak with a manager again about the entire experience, he did not even provide a simple apology, let alone any compensation, and he then proceeded to hang up on me!! I have been buying Jets Pizza for years from other locations and several different food establishments in Metro Detroit AND I HAVE NEVER HAD AN EXPERIENCE LIKE THIS!! I'm kind of disappointed with my pizza this time from this Jet's Pizza. The sauce seemed different & seemed like a cheap off brand. The cheese seemed like a lower quality and was skimped on, too. As I walked in to pick up my order, I notice a man sitting off to one side of the register counting cash . He had no mask on talking to a young female employee also without a mask. The person making pizzas was wearing a mask. The sign on the door and on the counter as you come in clearly states the requirements for customers to wear a mask and only 4 patrons are allowed in the store at one time. After noting the mask issue, I looked on their health inspection reports and found some violations they had received this year giving them a 77 out of 100. I was wearing my mask and following the guidelines. I'm somewhat disappointed that they don't do the same at this Jet's. Ordered online. Website stated it would take an hour(stated it could be longer if at peak hours). I'm not unreasonable and think it should be exactly as stated, but at the one hour and ten minute mark, I called and was told driver left with my order and a few other orders and probably hit traffic. The person on the phone stated delivery time was really 1 hour and 30 minutes rather than the hour stated online. Fine. I'll wait. 30 minutes later(1 hr 45 min after ordering online), still no pizza. Called back to get status update. Again told probably hit traffic. At 6:02(5 minutes short of 2 hours) the driver delivered our cold pizza and jets bread. Let me start off by saying that I'm and fan of Jets pizza but this location needs help. I have ordered twice in the last 6 months and will never choose this location and recommend you don't either. My last order was a carry out and was given an approximate delivery time. 40 minutes after that time I called and was told my order was on the road and I should have it in 29 more minutes. Should have known that was a lie buy by now we were hungry. When it did arrive the pizza was cold and at some point tipped on its side. To make things worse it was terrible. If you're looking to have pizza delivered and have hours to wait and low expectations this is your place. This is by far the best Jet's Pizza in the area. There pizzas as consistent as McDonald's burgers. I absolutely love this place and get it anytime I'm having people over, which isn't as often right now. I always get the deep dish pizza with bold pepperoni and mushrooms with the butter crust. My family enjoyed the first pizza that we ordered from this location very much. The second time that we ordered (several months ago) it took over two hours to get our pizzas and then they were cold. Tonight we received a pizza that had cajun crusts that were overly seasoned to the point of looking like they were burnt. The whole pizza was so soggy with grease that it practically fell apart trying to pick up a piece. As you can see from the picture there is no crust on some pieces. Perhaps the lack of crust combined with the grease is why the slice is so hard to pick up. The worst part is that it seems like management does not care this time or with previous issues. The Jets in south lyon on Pontiac trail is honestly hit or miss. More times than not our order is always wrong. It's never ready when they say it will be, and items have been missing when they deliver. When we call the employees aren't the friendliest out there. I have ordered from this location four times and not once has the order come out correctly. My first time ordering, I did carry out and got two pizzas. When I arrived home, the cheese pizza we ordered had sausage and peppers. I called and they said they could make another and have it ready for me. So a 10-15 min drive there, then 10-15 mins back, my pizza (the original one that was correct) was cold by the time I got back to eat. I also received no apology or an offer that they would deliver a correct one. My second order was larger, since we had friends over. I did carry out again. This time I checked all the pizzas. Drove home and when I got there and unpacked everything, we realized the left out one salad and didn't include any dressing for the others. Again I called and had to drive back. When I eventually got home, the pizza was cold for me... again. On the bright side I called and spoke to a manager who refunded me the cost of my salads. I then declared we will never order from this location again. About a month later, for some reason, the wife ordered a salad and pizza from this location. When I picked it up, they handed me the food, I paid, then I went through everything to make sure it was correct. Of course they forgot the salad dressing, but at least I caught it before I left. I felt victorious. Fast forward another month or so. We were having a small group of people over and we wanted to order a couple of their large group size salads. Because of their opening time on Sunday and when we wanted the salads, we called the night before to see if we could order in advance. They said of course and we ordered two giant salads for the next day. When I showed up, the worker seemed very confused. They talked to another worker who replied something to the effect of "Oh yeah, we have that order, but I forgot to make it. " I then had to wait for them to find the order in their system and make the salads. It took about 20 minutes to finally get out the door. Again, no apology from either employee. I've lived in South Lyon for ages. I've been ordering from this location since before they moved to their Pontiac Trail location. Their pizza has always been a pleasure to ingest, however as of late, this pizza has been the worst I have eaten. I'll choose Little Caesars over them. Whenever I receive it: it is luke warm, tastes like there is a pound of oil in it, and lacks the type of flavor you'd expect coming from Jet's Pizza. There is nothing more unappetizing than eating a pizza that tastes like it's been sitting in a soggy box for hours. Their customer service has completely gone out the window and the over all morale of the store is very low. It just seems like a place no one would want to work, let alone eat pizza from. Now, I get that I'm no one important, but being a valued customer is on the list of things I'd enjoy from a place I'm giving my money to. Whenever contacting the store about the lack of tastiness of product and the urgency to deliver their pizza there is always some bullshit excuse or another. If you want to keep your customers around, act like they are important to your business. Don't just brush them off. How do you expect to keep a business running if you keep losing your customers? This place just lost a loyal customer. This is probably the fourth time I've had to wait almost an hour after my designated pick up time for my order. Yet every time it happens they never offer you anything. No additional coupons, nothing off your order that literally took an hour an a half for a pick up.
