Previously, the hot mat room was much smaller, so I was happy to see more spots available in the hot mat class. Immediately upon arrival, I was greeted at the door to check-in. There are cubbies outside of the hot mat room to put your bag and shoes, and the room has all of the equipment needed for the class. Nina was my instructor and she killed it! I definitely felt the burn this morning with how many pulses she made us do! I didn't get a good look at the new reformer room, but I'm hoping to take a reformer class there in the near future!

My GPS took me on a "wild goose chase," & sadly it was during rush hour, it was such a ridiculous, stressing, experience. No one could respond to my text messages, making it more difficult about the actual address. Now it seems they won't respond at all to my texts. ‍Funny that Bryn specified the grip socks, and that I could purchase them there, but nothing about the strict time constraints, and that the address can get confusing for gps, (I THINK I might have been a minute late) but in my defense I thought this was a 1 on 1 introduction/instruction, class. I called at 10:53 am (so last minute pardon again, I had to go to Miami for a week today on short notice) So I am explaining this to her and she explains to me that tomorrow ends their promotion of enrolling for 0.25 cents and that after that it would be regular price of $99. I stated that's fine if anything I'll just do free first time in Miami (I have a bestfriend that is a loyal customer and she's the one who introduced me to Hotworx hence why I was going to go today) I was telling her thats fine I'll have to pay regular price so I will do first time free in Miami and then I wanna schedule with you --- She interrupted me and said okay then have a beautiful day (condescending attitude) and clicked. I was in shock so I called back cause I just wanted to make an appointment for when I return back to Orlando so in one week. She answered and she's like how May I help you I said sweetheart you didn't let me finish talking I wasn't done. She said uh well you told me you were going to go to Miami and I said yes and I still wasn't done talking she does a sigh remark very immature and I'm like you know what forget this. Cause why would I go to a place knowing she's the manager there and with that attitude? I would not put myself thru that toxicity. Not to say the environment or place is toxic. I'm sure it's not at all. It's more of the human being behind the phone that messed up the opportunity for me. But it's okay just wanted to advise so someone can hopefully let her know how she went about the situation was uncalled for and very rude. But wish her the best maybe she woke up on the wrong side of bed not sure. Regardless no one should take out their frustrations on others when it's not that deep, not that serious. I have really loved the variety of having different routines every time I train. Not only does the variety build muscle faster by cross-training, it also makes the one-hour session fly by.
