First off a huge shout out to Adam and Lucas the tour guides. If you get these two you are very fortunate. They are extremely knowledgeable of the ocean the animals the water the skis etc. very friendly. And when they had to help me out of the water two times they didn't complain. With that being said I want to encourage everyone to do this. I'm a 55 year old lady. 5'6" not in shape. I'm a waitress so I walk but I have no desire for the gym. lol. So my daughter signed us up. I'm not knowing we have to swim through a cave. You have the option to stay on. Me I thought go go now. But that here nor there I was in the water. There is a hook or step on the back of the ski to help but I have a little more junk in my truck and needed a little more help. The two of them got me out. Then after getting to the island. There are two routes. The back island is for adventures. There's snorkeling and climbing and you can hang out. very little shopping or eating. But you go to the cave and then swim through it with a guide and then get to the island where you are there for three hours. If you go to the Avalon side you are there for three hours but I feel there is more to do on that side. But if you are adventurous and don't like a lot of people go to the back side. Both I have been to and both are fun. We went to the backside and we were going to snorkel. After the three hours you meet back at the jet skis and it's a fun trip back home. On the way there I was trying to get the hang of it and was always last. there were some speed devils in the group. lol. I was a newbie. On the way back I felt a little more confident. leaving we took off and we're traveling for about 10 min or so when The tour guide along with another person mentioned a pod of dolphins. So we turned around to go back. They swam with the skis. It was a blast. Then we headed back to Long Beach. It took about an hour and 45 min to get there. This included going to the cave and swimming through. There are three stops. It was about an hour and a half to get back. No cave. You are never alone and there is always a guide or another jet ski person around. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I got a little confidence and was doing 42 when two sides of water came at me and I crashed and was thrown from the ski. Again they came and rescued me. Never was I scared or in any danger of anything. After getting me there were a few others that were helped out of the water as well. It was such an awesome time. I loved it and would definitely do it again. Questions I had that after going I'm going to mention and hope this helps you. We meet at 7 am. You park at the hotel. You are stamped and valida through jet ski company so bring your parking ticket. It was only 14 dollars. The jet ski has enough room for two large backpacks. I had a large one and my daughter had a medium one and there was enough room for another backpack. Now if it is not a waterproof backpack I suggest bringing a plastic bag as there is a little water that does get into the jet ski . not a lot maybe two to three ounces. Wear gloves. Very important. Also bring and wear sunscreen. And I recommend boat or water shoes. I give this trip 5 the only thing that I would have a complaint about is the wetsuit itself. You get a long sleeve one piece shorts wetsuit that they give you. They wash or rinse everyday after the tour. Mine was still wet and had a mildew smell. Not anything bad and you don't end up smelling like it when you take it off. But that would be the only thing I could even complain about. read more

If you're on the fence about booking Jet Ski 2 Catalina, do it. This was truly a bucket-list experience, and our guides, Drew, Zack, and Phil made it unforgettable. They were professional, knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely fun to spend the day with. They took an incredible adventure and made it even better. Before our trip, I spent a lot of time reading reviews trying to figure out what was actually worth bringing. Here's what I found compared to my own experience: The most commonly recommended items were sunscreen, gloves, water shoes, and goggles. I completely agree. We brought all of them just in case and ended up using everything except the goggles. I wear contacts and expected the ocean spray to be an issue, but it never bothered me. That said, I'd still recommend bringing goggles, you may appreciate having them depending on the conditions. I also saw quite a few reviews mentioning the smell of the wetsuits. Honestly, ours weren't bad at all. We wore them on the ride over to Catalina, and on the return trip they weren't required. If you do wear one, I'd recommend leaving the top half down around your waist when you're not in the water. It gives you a little extra padding on the seat while still keeping you comfortable. The ride to Catalina was smooth, and we were able to really open the skis up and enjoy the speed. The ride back was a little choppier, making it more technical to navigate, but it was still an absolute blast. The jet skis are also surprisingly practical. There are two storage compartments: one large enough to hold two or three full-size backpacks, and a second waterproof compartment that's perfect for your phone, chapstick, wallet, or other small essentials while keeping everything easily accessible. We made three scenic stops on the way to Catalina, which gave everyone a chance to rest, take photos, and enjoy the views. The highlight of the trip, though, was the wildlife. We rode alongside a massive pod of dolphins, and it was one of the most breathtaking experiences I've ever had. Being out in the middle of the ocean, surrounded by dolphins in their natural habitat, is something I'll never forget. We also saw seals, which made the experience even more special. Let me set the stage - I love a good thrill - I've bungee jumped, white water rafted, gone scuba diving...I love adventure. That said, this trip was both exhilarating and disappointing at the same time. Similarly to what I've read elsewhere, some small adjustments (like a one way jetski trip to Avalon and come back on the cruiser) may have made this a 4 star experience. My husband surprised me with this for my birthday. I'd looked into it previously and had been interested in doing it but the pricetag is substantial so I hadn't taken the leap. As such, I did not have much time to prepare for this in advance. NOTE TO MEN: DO NOT SURPRISE YOUR PARTNER WITHOUT ANY HEADS UP - NOBODY WANTS THAT UNLESS YOU HAVE THOUGHT OF AND PLANNED FOR EVERY NEED & CONCERN THAT MIGHT ARISE (you probably can't - give your boo some advance notice). This operation is super low direction and guidance. The most important things I heard were: stay between 30-35mph to glide best on water and that this would be an adventure. And an adventure it was... Arrival and check in were easy enough (I cant speak to registration and information sharing before arrival). We were given wetsuits and lifejackets and then we were all loaded up on jetskis (which is when those two nuggets of wisdom were provided). The direction from there is minimal and you really have a lot of slack to get out there and have a blast. That said, holy mother was that intense! The way there wasn't so bad. I flew off the jetski once and one of the two guys with us helped me back to my jetski. He (Zack) was definitely the more communicative of the two (the other was Jet) but it definitely felt like they were there to check off some boxes (get us there and back, take some pics, etc). I was tired and had blisters on my hands by the time we were heading back, the water was choppy - more choppy then I expected. I was so scared. It's intense and I was terrified of being flung back into the (busier) ocean. I wish that there had been some dialogue, some acknowledgment of the challenges of the journey, maybe some tips to get through it the best possible. There wasn't any of that and I spent the whole way back praying I make it home safely. That, coupled with the fact that the harbor and surrounding ocean in Long Beach is so disgustingly dirty, will make this a one and done kinda deal. This was possibly the worst customer experience I've ever had in my life and I will sue them for the $10k max allowable in small claims. I booked the trip over the phone in 3/18 for a 3/21 trip. The lady took all my info, including my cc info to charge the $650, ran my card and we left the call with "card has been processed, you're all set, etc". As with any other booking I didn't think twice about it and was ready to show up that day for it. After my 8 hour drive from Vallejo, ca., I go there and they said they didn't have my name down to go. They had another Jared on the list, but not my name. Looking at them in utter his belief I told them to call the lady that booked it to confirm. They said that's not how that works. I said "I just drove 8 hours and you can't make one phone call to verify, wtf is wrong with you?" They didn't let me go on the trip, and About an hour later they called me and said that other Jared on their list was in fact me and tried to blame me that my government ID didn't match the name on their list. I said "one more mistake by your incompetent staff"...to which he hung up on me. I know they had my correct name bc they wouldn't have been able to run my cc without it. Ran into the group while out on my own jetski and the guides were not friendly at all. They began yelling at us and using profanity. They act as if they own the water. I understand if we were trying to join there group but we were not. We were simply mooring our jetskis near them at Catalina at a location that we were supposed to be at as we were assigned to it but they did not want us near them. They began yelling at us to leave. It's an OCEAN adventure and it was exhilarating, beautiful, fun, and yes...challenging!! 2 adult riders, 2 teenage passengers on the day trip to Avalon. The ride out there was the best! Smooth blue ocean! We cruised most of the way to enjoy the beauty of the ocean, the warm water, and any wildlife we could find. It was a hot summer day. We didn't wear the provided wetsuits but they did have us put them in the storage compartment just in case we changed our minds. We did just fine wearing long-sleeved rash guard swim shirt and bathing suit bottoms. Of course, lots of sunscreen! Time on the island was just enough to enjoy lunch, relax, and do a little shopping. Perfect for us! Now, I anticipated winds and choppy water on the afternoon ride back to LB. It's the ocean...expect it! Yes, it was challenging and bouncy. You will get wet. We wore wrap around sunglasses. This is where I would have swapped for some goggles if I had some. A must for next time. We purchased riding gloves from jetski2catalina, a definite must! I would not recommend riding without gloves. Our guides- Our group started off with 3. 1 leader, 2 in the back. A few minutes out riding one returned back to land. I am not sure why but it really didn't matter. We were safe. At the break stops they always asked if we were doing ok. They kept us together and were there when someone fell off their ski. They were professional, courteous, patient, and kind. We never felt rushed or unsafe out there. Thank you guides. On to the customer service. My only hiccup was when I booked online. I reserved a jetski for my oldest, 17 y/o. I know it stated the minimum age for a rider is 16. I made sure because this was a trip I booked for my kid that has been wanting to do this for a couple years now. The minimum age for passengers is 12. I reserved my 14 y/o as a passenger. 3 jetskis for 3 riders, 1 passenger. Simple, right? When we checked in, we were told at that time the minimum age to ride is 18. I told them that isn't what your online booking states. It has minimum age 16. They explained why it's 18 and apologized for the inconvenience. They told me to call customer service for the 1 jetski refund. Thankfully, it worked out that my oldest was able to ride as a passenger with one of the adults with us. Jetski2catalina, I would highly recommend there be some kind of Red Flag notice when booking minors as riders. I booked a month in advance and not one email or call regarding the error. I did call the day after our trip for the refund. The gal instantly refunded the account and sent me an updated invoice within minutes. She was polite and professional. Post trip- yes, we were sore! We spent the day recouping and talking about the amazing experience we had. My kids have a story to tell for the rest of their lives. Overall, I am giving this adventure a 10/10. There was a huge pod of dolphins that decided to join us that made the whole trip! They swam in front of us, around us and jumped out of the water for a good 30 minutes. It was just amazing! I have seen dolphins from whale watching boats before, but there is nothing like being this close to them! Bring a GoPro if you have one and dunk it under the water while the dolphins go by. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We took the trip from Long Beach to Avalon with Jetski2Catalina and enjoyed it. The trip there takes about an hour and a half and was quite pleasant since it was an extremely hot day in LA. No wetsuit was needed, but we did take the ones they offered with in case we needed it during the trip. - this is a high impact sport. We definitely didn't realize it until we were on the water, but even though the water was relatively calm on the way there, it's a workout holding on to the jetskis as the bounce pretty hard over swells. - getting there was a workout, but getting back was HARD. Muscles were tired and bodies were sore from the way there, and getting back was windy and cold and choppy (even though it started as a very hot day in LA). If I had my way, I would do the trip on the way there and take a ferry on the way back but I doubt that's offered. - they have wetsuits which are not mandatory to use but if you don't want to use it when you leave, it is probably a good idea to take anyway and store in your jetski in case you change your mind. I do regret not putting it on for the way back as it was cold (but hot on Catalina). People have mentioned the wetsuits were gross. They seemed fine to me. - others have mentioned to bring gloves, watershoes, goggles. Those would probably all help, but I didn't have any and it didn't affect me that much. Gloves might help the chaffing between thumb and forefinger when holding the jetski which bounces up and down a lot, but I didn't find chaffing too bad. Watershoes would help chaffing on feet due to said bouncing and wearing sandals. Again, I didn't find that too bad. Goggles help if your eyes are sensitive to the salt water constantly splashing in them if it's windy. I wore sunglasses and got a lot of water in my eyes, but I guess my eyes aren't that sensitive to salt water. Overall we're glad we did it as a family as it makes for a great story but once is enough. read more

Once is enough for me. It was a cool experience, but I don't think I personally loved it enough for another go. We were advised that we did not need wetsuits, as it was a warm day (June), but I'm glad I got one. I do think it was needed. Heading to Catalina was very pleasant, with calm waters. We were going at 40-55mph. and it was incredibly thrilling and freeing. We did not get to see any dolphins, but we saw the seals. Good enough. We did the cave swim excursion, but I ended up not swimming. We were advised it's an advanced level swim and to be careful of the barnacles along the cave walls. I am not a great swimmer, and honestly it looked pretty farrrrr from where the jet skis were. Some people came back with cuts from the cave too. Going home was where I lost my enjoyment. To get back on the jet ski from Catalina we had to swim, so our suits got wet after previously being laid out on the beach to dry, which meant slippery. Makes sense though, but you lose your grip on the jet ski after that making it difficult to stay seated coming back. The waves really picked up to where we were going around 25-35mp instead. The water was SO CHOPPY. Sometimes, the waves would splash so high you couldn't see and seawater would splash and get into your eyes. I got slammed into my jet ski a few times, knocking the air out of my lungs. I'm surprised I didn't bust my lip. This is where I was constantly clenching some part of my body to make sure I stayed on. I think someone in our group got lost or left behind, as at once point we were stopped for 20 minutes waiting around. Also, I got sunburnt. But only on one side. I wish we had a full wetsuit instead of shorts. We came prepared with gloves and we still got blisters from gripping the handles. We had Ryan, Jett, and Zach as guides. Amazing experience. I've always wanted to Jetski to Catalina Island and finally had a chance to. It was a close friends birthday and he wanted to do this activity over going out for a wild night. I agreed to join him. We did the Two Harbors route. Our meetup time was 7:30AM and we start heading out around 8AM. My last time riding a Jetski was when I was in high school so it's definitely been awhile. I was worried how long the ride was and if I would be able to survive it. I get tired very easily these days. The first 30 minutes were then best times of my life. Speeding close to 50 mph maintaining a good 40 mph. But I got tired quickly. The remaining time was exhausting. I was hoping to be on the island ASAP. We got to the cave where people swam. That's where I lost my sunglasses. Bummer but I knew it was going to happen so I took my cheap ones. We finally get to the island at around 10AM and I'm finally glad we are on land. We quickly grab a bite to eat and a nice cold beer before resting up for a ride back. Our meetup time was 12:45 PM and we started heading out around 1PM and we got back to Long Beach around 3PM. I was glad to have had an opportunity to do this but I would definitely not do it again. Was super hard and not beginner friendly. A four hour ride is tough for all levels regardless of what people say or think. My fingers kept getting numb so I couldn't keep accelerating and since I didn't have my sunglasses on the ride back I had to keep wiping my eyes. The guides were great. Very helpful. I got a blister on my acceleration hand (right) that popped & scraped itself throughout the ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET SOME GLOVES PRIOR TO GOING. Aside for that, I would try to do the overnight at Catalina. It gives you more time to stay & wonder around the island better. Took a trip with this company in late August. Check in was easy and the staff was helpful getting life vests and wetsuits on and showing us how to operate the jet skis. I wish they gave a little more safety info and guidance. I have ridden jet skis before but if I hadn't I think I would've liked a little more. The trip to the island was spectacular. Even with a full group I never felt too close to anyone and I could go as fast or slow as I wanted to ride. When arriving to the island we did a quick swim through a cave and docked. Our docking experience wasn't great, we got stranded out in the harbor of Two Harbors for about 30 minutes because of a mix up so the company did not have their usual spots to dock the jet skis. Not entirely their fault. When getting to the island, we were told we would only have 2 hours till we had to be back which was a let down as I was expecting to be there quite a bit longer based on the info on their website. One of the suggested activities on the island was snorkeling and was made to seem like it would be a guided snorkel in a specific area. However, it was actually just providing a snorkel tube and mask to snorkel in the harbor, so that was another let down. The ride back was great as well with the guides taking great pictures and video for you so you can be in the moment! We arrived back at Long Beach around 2:30 when my group and I were expecting to be back around 5 as it seemed on their website description. I'm unsure if it was cut a little early due to weather coming in evening that we need to avoid as that would be reasonable. All in all, great experience but a little more clarity on the activities and timeline of the excursion would be appreciated. If you are only going to ride a jet ski once in your life, make it a trip to Catalina! read more

This has been on my bucket list for things to try in my 50's! It did not disappoint! Lucas, our lead guide, Dom and Ryan were attentive and made sure we were all safe during our adventure, which I know a thing or two about since I work with OSHA... I never felt unsafe the entire trip, they maintained a perimeter around us to ensure everyone was safe. When people were thrown off their skis, they were quick to help them back on. It was clear they took an assessment of rider ability pretty early on, which I think is crucial when it comes to safety. As for the ride itself... it was exhilarating and such a great adventure. The Two Harbors trip was booked so we did the trip to Avalon. We made multiple stops along the way to regroup and enjoy swimming in the ocean. But they did keep us on track for time. I saw a whale breach right in front of me! Lucas also stopped when we saw dolphins and seals. They encouraged us to open up and enjoy the ocean, what a thrill! Coming back the waves were more intense and they even gave everyone an option to turn back to the island if they thought it would be too intense. Return trip was great, flying through the water was intense and lifted me right off my seat! Definitely won't be my last time taking this trip! I'll be back soon! read more

First of all, this was one HELL of a trip! We decided to go despite the bad weather, even though the coast guards advised us that the trip had to end early due to safety concerns. They gave us the option to come back another day, but we had already booked a hotel for the night to be there at 7am. We arrived, checked in, and watched other groups depart while waiting for our turn. Our group consisted of roughly 13 jetskis with 3 guides. This is not a guided tour--it's a straight-up ADVENTURE! They encourage you to go fast and have fun, just keep slower riders in the middle. My group had 7 people on 5 jetskis. We were given wetsuits, which smelled bad and moldy but kept us warm. Unfortunately, they didn't have the right size for one of our friends, so she ended up freezing the whole trip. This poor XS size girl had to use a medium that didn't keep the heat for her.This lack of proper gear was disappointing, so I'm docking a star for that. Before heading out, they taught us how to operate the jetskis. The water was somewhat calm and warm on the way to Catalina, but once we arrived, we had to swim to shore in the very cold water. On the way back, we hit a storm with high swells, which was terrifying. We lost sight of the group for about 15 minutes, which was really scary, especially in the rain and choppy waters. One of the coolest things was being able to see dolphins swimming near us. Overall, it was an adventure--pretty scary at times but definitely an experience. read more

This was an adventure - definitely one, but not for the faint hearted. We booked the 7am tour, and was given minimal instructions by our guides. While yes, this is not a tour, but an adventure; we were told beforehand that it is safe for beginners and first timers. Granted if you have never driven a jet ski, this may not be the best idea. Instructions - how to go reverse, drive, and somewhat steer and brake. Try to go a minimum of 25 miles, 33 mph is "Optimum". AND there you go. hmm. They are patient, however, they don't give breaks to the slower drivers. They really should have two groups - ones that wanna go fast, and the ones who are a little bit more cautious. I barely had any breaks to do anything - except the cave swimming. There was no snorkeling, or extra gear for you. The way back was a bit more choppy and more difficult to go as fast. I actually felt deserted at one point, where I felt alone in the open sea by myself. At that point, I just wanted things to be over. They take pictures, sure, but they didn't take any of me, so thanks for that! Don't get me wrong, I had fun, but would have probably had more fun it was a little better paced for a first timer. TIPS - bring gloves, everyone had blisters at the end. If you have your own wetsuit, please bring it. The stuff they provide were disgusting. Smelled HORRIBLE, plus ripped all over the place. Did it keep me warm, sure, but gross. SO gross. get validated - the parking was at a hotel. read more

Holy cow!! Do you want an adventure? Not a harbor cruise, a full on butt kicking adventure? This is it. Absolute blast worth the money. Did the Twin Harbor trip and loved it. Got my butt handed to me, but it was awesome. The waves beat the crap outta me, but I'd do it again. Company is top notch. No BS and very, very professional. But here's the kicker, they leave you alone in the open ocean. Go fast. Go slow. Do tricks. Do donuts. Beat the crap outta the jet ski and push it to its limits, they won't care. SEA-DOOing ADVENTURE (4.5 stars) You can burn on average 476 calories per hour riding one of these. I guess that was $428.87 worth of ocean fun. Cool and fun adventure. But not for the faint of heart. Went 2 days before Hurricane Hilary... The ocean is different than sea-dooing on a lake, harbor, or bay. This is THE OCEAN... it's rougher. Ocean conditions vary but it is the Ocean and it's risky. I felt safe and parts I didn't I took extreme caution. Again, this is an adventure not a tour. And I cannot sum this experience in this dinky review. See some of the videos I posted. :: FEELS :: Could be uncomfy for some. Imagine riding a wet mechanical bull, body flying off the sea-doo and the sea-doo going super fast jumping waves every few seconds for 2hrs, body getting slammed down on the sea-doo seat (sometimes hurting), gripping and holding on for dear life hoping not to get thrown off and the skin on the side of your thumb/hand is rubbing off, legs trying to squeeze tightly to stay seated but doesn't work, trying to keep up to not feel left behind or get lost. It's fun.. until it's not. LOL. :: PREP YOURSELF :: Bring a waterproof bag. Bring towel and shorts to change into for the island. Wear lots of sunscreen. Pack snacks and water. If you have your own wetsuit, bring it. I'm told their wetsuits smell bad and sizes are off. Glad I brought mine and felt very comfy in my own gear. Bring gloves, people's hands can get beat up. I used my sailing gloves and they saved my hands from having to be wrapped during the trip. Water shoes. Don't say I didn't warn you. Expect your entire body to feel very sore the next day or two. :: AM ADVENTURE TIME :: 60 miles of Ocean. Departed at 07:30a, returned at 3:30p. This isn't a tour, this is an adventure - big difference. 30 miles to Catalina in 2hrs, with 3 stops in between, search for Dolphins on the sea-do, and swim in a cave. Drink at the stops, you do get pretty thirsty out there and no time to stop when back in the move. Adrenaline kicks in and it's fun even when it's scary. Ocean conditions were a little rough. DOLPHINS - that varies. Might see one, might see none, might see pods. CAVE - tip: if there is a swell, don't go. You don't have fins, goggles, snorkel, gloves. Only wetsuit and life vest. Most times there is a swell so current is strong and you can't touch the walls or you'll get cut up by barnacles. And you'll have a hard time swimming back to the sea-do. :: TWO HARBORS :: This is the second, more remote, and smaller town on the island. Parked the sea-doo. You do have to jump in water and swim to shore but distance is 30ft. Break here for 2.5hrs. You can eat, rest, hike, snorkel, or kayak. By the time you reached the island you are hungry and a bit exhausted. Do not lose track of time. If you are seasick or the travel back is too hard for you and have to leave the sea-do at the island to take the ferry back I heard you pay $1k charge. Departed approximately at 1-130p. FYI for nonOcean people - winds pick up after 1p... that means so does the Ocean conditions. If you think the ride over was rough, it's about to be rougher. :: PM ADVENTURE TIME :: At this point the winds picked up. The ocean waters are more challenging. 30 miles back within 2hrs with 3 stops. Think about the rough moments heading over to the island... it's that and rougher coming back... but the entire ride back. Winds were hitting strong from the left of me. Waters were choppy and waves were bigger and constant. Waves splashed all over my body head to toe, I drank so ocean water here and there, and my eyes were stinging (even with sunglasses on). Ride back wasn't very pleasant. And the breaks were nice but the sways and rocking was heavy. You won't see much coming back, maybe towards the last 10 miles some sea lions hanging out on a buoy. Honestly, as much fun as it is I didn't care for the stops on the way back to Long Beach and I was over it and could not wait to reach the docs. I could tell others in our group were also tired. Fun picked up again as we got towards Long Beach's harbor as the water conditions were less aggressive. By the time you reach the doc.. you are thirsty, hungry, and tired. :: HMMM :: * No sight of sharks!!! But you can jump off your sea-do and swim around in the Ocean. FYI, Splashing does attract sharks so that's all on y'all. * There was a swell at the caves and the group were encouraged to jump off and swim in the cave. Yet they don't have the proper safety gear. One person in our group who didn't speak English got yelled/screamed at by Marcus "jump in now or don't jump at all" and he looked confused because he didn't understand. Most needed help getting back to their sea-doo due to the swell and strong current. * The seller for this adventure are the pods of Dolphins, but that's the seller. Not everyone sees pods of Dolphins. Checking off 60 miles of Ocean from my bucket list. JABA APPROVED. Until the next adventure.... read more

We had an EXCELLENT experience with Jetski to Catalina yesterday! Amazing guides who were super patient and considerate if you had to stop for any reason, took breaks to enjoy the marine life (WE SAW ABOUT A HUNDRED DOLPHINS AND A WHALE!), and the marine life was jaw-dropping! The dolphins were so amazing-they swam right next to you and all around. Saw bottlenose and a huge herd of Rissos and babies the size of footballs. 1000% recommend! After booking they will send you a know-before-you-go email. Once you arrive to the dock early morning on your chosen day, they hand you your wet suit, they assign you to your ski and go over some safety rules, etc. as a group and introduce you to the guides that will be riding with you. The journey to the island is intimidating if you've never jetski'd before, but you catch on quick. The guides are ahead & behind the group so they are definitely watching you in case you need help. They also bring us together to wait a little when someone is a little too far behind, but there is no pressure.. everyone is having a good time. Once you arrive at the island you get to do your own thing. You can walk to town and eat or just hang out on the beach. They also have snorkel masks for you to use on your own time. Once we regroup, we cliff dive and swim through caves and then we head back. On our way back there were dolphins everywhere! Lucky us! The guides are super helpful and patient! Jacob and Ace helped me out and they were easy to communicate with and outgoing! Parking; Keep your parking stub with you, they validate parking after we return from Catalina for 15$ parking (vs 31$ non-validated) Tip; Don't forget your snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, water shoes and anti-nausea just in case, and wear your own wet suit if you have one. The jetskis have a lot of storage space for you. The whole experience is about 7 hours and you might be sore the next day.
