    Team Building Event!!
    Rommel O.

We did our corporate Team Building event and rented 23 Watercrafts for the 2 hour Coastal Tour, that was plenty of time start with. Marcus' team was so well organized and was a true team of professionals, which made this event really fun and successful. The team could not stop smiling after. They even took a ton of photos and provided them through a web page to download. We will definitely be back next time, highly recommend these guys and can't thank them enough!

    Amazing dolphins!

Thank you Cody for being so patient with us and making this a trip to remember! We did the 2 hour group trip from Long Beach to Palos Verdes. There was a huge pod of dolphins that decided to join us that made the whole trip! They swam in front of us, around us and jumped out of the water for a good 30 minutes. It was just amazing! I have seen dolphins from whale watching boats before, but there is nothing like being this close to them! Bring a GoPro if you have one and dunk it under the water while the dolphins go by. There are more under the surface than you see from the SeaDoo.

A bucket list activity I didn't know I needed!! The adrenaline, the excitement, my closest people, the playful dolphins and the cool attentive crew. A one and done for me but all so worth it.

Once is enough for me. It was a cool experience, but I don't think I personally loved it enough for another go. We were advised that we did not need wetsuits, as it was a warm day (June), but I'm glad I got one. I do think it was needed. Heading to Catalina was very pleasant, with calm waters. We were going at 40-55mph. and it was incredibly thrilling and freeing. We did not get to see any dolphins, but we saw the seals. Good enough. We did the cave swim excursion, but I ended up not swimming. We were advised it's an advanced level swim and to be careful of the barnacles along the cave walls. I am not a great swimmer, and honestly it looked pretty farrrrr from where the jet skis were. Some people came back with cuts from the cave too. Going home was where I lost my enjoyment. To get back on the jet ski from Catalina we had to swim, so our suits got wet after previously being laid out on the beach to dry, which meant slippery. Makes sense though, but you lose your grip on the jet ski after that making it difficult to stay seated coming back. The waves really picked up to where we were going around 25-35mp instead. The water was SO CHOPPY. Sometimes, the waves would splash so high you couldn't see and seawater would splash and get into your eyes. I got slammed into my jet ski a few times, knocking the air out of my lungs. I'm surprised I didn't bust my lip. This is where I was constantly clenching some part of my body to make sure I stayed on. I think someone in our group got lost or left behind, as at once point we were stopped for 20 minutes waiting around. Also, I got sunburnt. But only on one side. I wish we had a full wetsuit instead of shorts. We came prepared with gloves and we still got blisters from gripping the handles. We had Ryan, Jett, and Zach as guides. All 3 of them were professional.

What a "better way" to spend your birthday! I've enjoyed jet skiing here and there, but it was an absolute pleasure riding along side with the crew today! Thank you guys

Amazing experience. I've always wanted to Jetski to Catalina Island and finally had a chance to. It was a close friends birthday and he wanted to do this activity over going out for a wild night. I agreed to join him. We did the Two Harbors route. Our meetup time was 7:30AM and we start heading out around 8AM. My last time riding a Jetski was when I was in high school so it's definitely been awhile. I was worried how long the ride was and if I would be able to survive it. I get tired very easily these days. The first 30 minutes were then best times of my life. Speeding close to 50 mph maintaining a good 40 mph. But I got tired quickly. The remaining time was exhausting. I was hoping to be on the island ASAP. We got to the cave where people swam. That's where I lost my sunglasses. Bummer but I knew it was going to happen so I took my cheap ones. We finally get to the island at around 10AM and I'm finally glad we are on land. We quickly grab a bite to eat and a nice cold beer before resting up for a ride back. Our meetup time was 12:45 PM and we started heading out around 1PM and we got back to Long Beach around 3PM. I was glad to have had an opportunity to do this but I would definitely not do it again. Was super hard and not beginner friendly. A four hour ride is tough for all levels regardless of what people say or think. My fingers kept getting numb so I couldn't keep accelerating and since I didn't have my sunglasses on the ride back I had to keep wiping my eyes. The guides were great. Very helpful. My whole body was sore for days but I do not regret this amazing experience.

One of The Most Adrenaline Boosting & Exhilarating Experiences of My Life. 64 Miles Round Trip of Pure Excelleration into the Abyss of the Oceans Mist & Wild Life. I cannot say enough great things about this experience in general. I have been wanting to do this for over a year now but never found anyone willing to go with. I am a random adventure seeker. Unfortunately for me, I don't have much time to do these type of things, let alone plan with a group or others. However, I recently broke up with my bf & I wanted to do this. My Bestie with Testies (pictured with me) was brave enough to make the trip. He had so much fun to & was one for the books. I don't know how to swim so I was beyond scared but they provide the life jackets & wetsuits which was great. Pushing the gas on the jet ski was thrilling & I needed that adrenaline rush. Now, on the website they have recommendations, such as gloves. I thought for a moment but didn't know why the gloves. Well I know now. I got a blister on my acceleration hand (right) that popped & scraped itself throughout the ride. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU GET SOME GLOVES PRIOR TO GOING. Aside for that, I would try to do the overnight at Catalina. It gives you more time to stay & wonder around the island better. They give you 3 hours to eat & go around site seeing which was enough for us to eat at a local restaurant. I would love to do this again & will be prepared for the next time.

Ask the Community - Jetski To Catalina

Are there any sharks out there?

There's always a possibility of sharks, but the guides are knowledgeable of the wildlife in the area and they never warned our group of any shark dangers in the area. The customer service at this company is great so you can always reach out to them…

Can we bring our own wetsuits?

I think so. No one forces anyone and they give wetsuits at will

    What's the price per person?

There was a special in December for $299. $399 is the regular price. There was also an added fees that was added at the end, which was about $50 bucks. Totally worth it if you see dolphins when jet skiing.

Can my son who is 16 and doesn't have a driver license drive the jet ski if I get tired?

The USCG requires that any person operating a PWC must be over 16 and have a valid drivers license or California boaters license. He can obtain a California boaters license through the state website.

See you next week! What thickness are the wetsuits?

Our summer suits are 5MM spring suits. Long sleeve, short pants.

Do I need a Driver License to ride or operate a jet ski?

    No you do not.

Is a one way trip an option?

We do not offer one-way trips to Catalina. The issue is we have to get the JetSki back to Long Beach. What some people will do is they’ll ride over double and one person will stay and the other will ride the ski home.

If I end up falling behind from the rest of the group due to me not feeling comfortable driving the jet ski over 25 per hour will one of the tour guides be behind me at ALL times during the whole trip?

Yes! My wife was not fond of going very fast and we ended up being last most of the way. There was a guide in our sight the entire time. He rode mostly behind us sometimes parallel but never in front of us and definitely never out of our view.…

What are the top speeds and average speeds the group generally travels on average day?

Our groups average about 35 MPH. We do not limit the skis, so if you like speed, you can ride off to the side as fast as you like, as long as you keep a safe distance from other skis.

Would the current weather conditions of high winds be safe to jetski this week?

If you get sea sick fast I wouldn't take a chance on it bro lol we went on pretty much perfect condition and the waves in the middle of the Chanel were still pretty rough lol it was crazy but we loved it

Which months would you recommend if you want to see a lot of marine life?

Good morning Marine life runs year round. However, spring and fall bring the most marine life to our area, including whales.

Is there a compartment in the jetski to put belongings and if so how big? You guys provide snorkeling set or do we bring our own and if you do provide it can we still bring…

Yes the top lifts up & you have a large compartment to place your belongings. It's a good size you can fit two large bags inside. There's also a space to put your phone during the trip. They provided the snorkeling stuff but you can bring your own.…

Any confidence boosting advice for those of us about to experience this for the first time?

It's an amazing trip. Definitely bucket list worthy. My advice?…

Hello I'm just curious ,what are the size ranges for the wet suits?

We have wetsuits from Adult Sm to XXL

    What's the price?

    Range: $400-$500

If one has their own jet ski and would like to tag along, what is the price for that?

Bringing your own watercraft is not an option for our trip for many reasons. Primarily because we do not stop for fuel and you must have a ski that can make the trip over and back. Secondly, if anything happens to your ski, ie sucks up trash or has…

Is the water cold, should one pack a towel, and is there an eatery recommended for the 3 hour break?

Water is not cold they provide swim suits so if you do fall off it will keep you warm. When you get to the island you can take it off. yes take the towel for when u get their because you will be on the beach. Take your own food because the hike will…

How large is the compartment in the Jetski? Instructions say you can bring up to 2 backpacks per jetski however that is not very descriptive. I dont want to get carried away and bring more than can fit in the compartment or not bring enough. Thanks!

U really do not need much but the compartment is pretty large i had a 30liter bag. And they have a compartment for phones

Do you have to wear a wetsuit or can you just wear shorts and a tank/bathing suit, ect?

Its recommended to wear a wetsuit, but not mandatory.

I am thinking about going on one of your trips. I have never jet ski'd before and I am a little nervous. I would like to go when the ocean is relatively calm. What months would you recommend?…

Don't be nervous, my wife had no experience. It is great and guides are great.

And all though we still made the best of it it really did not live up to what was promised and the amount of money we paid. So let's start with m: 1. The address did not match what was listed on their Yelp page and created a lot of confusion and frustration especially since we had kids with us. I had to text the owner, Mario, and he gave us another location to charter form which was not at all what was listed on their page. 2. Not sure if the captain of the day,Noah, was having a bad day or what but he was definitely not in the mood to greet us properly. He was very short, not so friendly and barely spoke to us during our ride. 3. The boat was not like the photos they presented or posted on Yelp. I even texted the owner and asked him to send me a few photos of what the boat will look like. It was definitely dirty, the coaches were so damaged and dirty they had black clothes over them. One of inside couches was wet, my uncle sat on it unknowingly making his pants wet and him uncomfortable for the rest of the ride. 4. The table surfaces were all damaged & chipped. We had to be careful for the kids not to get splinters when they would approach the table to grab something to eat. 5. Worst of it all was that we only watched cargo shipments for 2 hours!! On our phone call with Mario mentioned we can go through the canals and even get a far glimpse of the Queen Mary but we didn't. We even asked Noah to take us the other way around into the open water and he said no he needs to this way first (meaning by the cargo shipments). It was very disappointing since it was my dads actual birthday and the experience was completely robbed from us. It's very sad that we wasted over a thousand dollars and didn't receive what we had paid for. And I even texted Mario afterwards telling him our concerns but didn't get a reply back. Poor customer service.

We brought another group yesterday, and everyone enjoyed the tour. The only downside, in my opinion, is the boats used for the harbor tour. Yesterday we were on the Kristina, and in the past we've also been on the Caroline, which we chartered for my mother's ash-scattering ceremony about 14 years ago. Both vessels are showing their age. I also think the marketing could be clearer. The photos on the website and many travel sites prominently feature the newer catamarans, which gives the impression that those are the boats used for the harbor tour. I actually called ahead to ask and learned that the harbor tours use different vessels. While I appreciated getting the correct information, many first-time visitors probably wouldn't think to ask and may expect the newer boats shown in the advertising. The harbor tour itself is still worthwhile, and we'll likely continue bringing our guests because we genuinely enjoy the experience. I just hope Harbor Breeze considers updating or refurbishing the harbor tour vessels and making the marketing a little clearer so guests know exactly what to expect.

The Captain was friendly as well! I spoke to him as we were exiting the boat & thanked him for a great cruise! Overall | What a fun cruise! I would highly recommend if you were visiting Long Beach, especially had friends and family in town to show them around; another fun thing to add to your list! Let's go!

Love this place! My very first time renting a boat and the staff were friendly and helpful from…read morestart to finish. The experience includes a 2 hour rental (extra cost to hire a driver) allowing for a maximum of 10 guests on board. It's $250 for the regular boat and $350 for the pink, and a 15% service fee is imposed. The boat was clean and the ride was extremely comfortable and safe- feeling the breeze on the ocean on a hot day was amazing. They provide you with a safe route and a map to follow with beautiful views, so you don't need to stress about figuring it out. It was also extremely easy to drive despite not having any prior experience, so you really don't need to hire a driver at all. They also have an adorable restaurant that I had no idea about! I definitely need to come back with all my friends and dine in before or after the boat ride.

The pink ones are $350 for two hours, but we went with the blue one for $250. Pretty reasonably priced if you go with about 10 people, which fit comfortably. The table on our duffy was a bit wobbly and the motor was pretty slow. Full throttle was about 3 miles an hour. At least we felt safe driving it around Naples. We brought plenty of snacks and drinks. The Bluetooth connection worked fine but the speakers were a little blown. Despite the condition of the duffy, we still had a blast. The staff was very nice checking us in, getting us started and parking the duffy. I'd totally do this again!
