It's been about four years since Richard, the owner of Rivas & Son Paint & Body saw the damaged door on my desert platinum metallic Infiniti G35... Someone at Denny's had opened their truck door on a super windy day and left a huge crease on the passenger's side rear door, scraping some of my paint off and leaving some of their red paint on. I was livid... Luckily, Richard & Son were there. They were fast, affordable, and mega talented. I dropped my car off one day and picked it up the next, it looked like nothing ever happened. Richard was able to body fill the crease, match the metallic grey paint to factory OEM look and blend it with the rest of the car so it matched. It was unbelievable! I've posted several pictures to show the before and after, as well as my car a few years later... The paint held up like the rest of the factory paint for the entire four and a half years that I kept the car afterward, and when I sold the car, the gentleman that bought it was impressed that he couldn't tell it had been dinged anywhere on that side. If you have any autobody work that needs to be fulfilled, you will find full confidence in Rivas & Son. The first repair convinced me how excellent of a job they do as the damages were extensive and quite not easy to repair. Moreover, they completed the job on time and their service was superb. Based on my first experience I decided to use them for the other two repairs and again very pleased with their job. Thankfully, the rear light worked but it was blinking a million times a second which warned me that it was next to fail. I thankfully and prayerfully made it home safe and called Mitchell Toyota yesterday (Monday) to see if they had any appointments to get my light fixed. The Customer Service Associate told me to come in after 1:30 p.m. and I was seen as soon as I arrived. I went to the Parts Department and was helped by a very pleasant Associate who gave me a "Military Discount" on the bulb I needed. What's more, Toyota DID NOT charge for the Labor of installing the bulb (Fist Pump! And Fist Pump Again!) I waited about 30 minutes in the Waiting Room after paying for my bulb, but was very happy to learn my vehicle was ready. While I have read the previous reviews, I am glad to report my experience was everything that I have come to expect of Toyota after having owned one for almost 20 years. While in San Angelo, I definitely plan to come back to this location for my automotive needs. Until the next bulb blows ~

She sounded irritated and as if I interrupted her - perhaps she was busy on her FB page - not sure - but very unfriendly! I then called the front desk/reception and again spoke to someone NOT TOO friendly, but also not rude. I asked to speak to the GM - was then told he was in a meeting. I asked WHO he was, to which she at first sounded reluctant to give his name - then after asking again - she said it was "Sean". I asked her to please ask him to call me - she said she would give him the message. Today is Friday, May 20th, and NO call has come from "Sean" - the GM! As a business owner for many years, I am amazed how businesses like this are still in business! Is it ONLY about selling new vehicles (but then) they even suck at that! I went to them over a year ago looking at trading my 2018 GMC with very low mileage, and buying a Toyota Tacoma (I ended up buying a BRAND NEW one from Brunner Toyota in Brownwood - which means they lost that deal) - I was told by the "salesman" that he cannot give me a price on my GMC and that he needs to speak to his manager and that they will get back to me! It has been over a year, and I still have not received that call! Bet you IF I ran my business like this, I would not be in business, let alone employ people who do not know HOW to speak to potential customers! I will now take my vehicle to Abilene to get serviced - yet another loss for this business! It seems that they THINK they are doing us a favor by "servicing" our vehicles - forgetting they are getting PAID to do it! Really, is this where we are heading as a society?

Not all work was done per original quote. Was supposed to get heated side view mirror from Orig-Equip. Ends up it's a knock off from Walmart or some place. The other vehicle's rear backup camera is off centered and some cheaper switch was used for fog lights. I didn't mind paying. But I didn't get what I was promised or quoted on. Im sure he will fix it but the sheer headache in redoing the work is what I do not like.

We told the Valvoline people that and they tried to make us replace it with them. Said no. They put it back, but the second we get on the highway this piece starts dragging on the ground!!! Lee contacted me almost immediately after I requested services. Lee went to work diagnosing my problem as soon as he could which was pretty quick. He estimated the cost in detail and because I hired him for the job, he waived the diagnostic fee towards total cost. ( I had paid the fee then talked with my wife about the cost of the job, messaged him about the work and he was able get me back into his shop the next day) He did amazing work of the job and essentially got my cars system back up and running before I had to return to work for the weekend (summer days/killer heat) He worked with me on splitting my payment. Lee even mentioned he can do Klarna which was an awesome option for split payments. I highly recommend Lee and his shop and look forward to suggesting him to anyone I know that needs repairs!
