Products should be stocked by at least 9am. I would prefer earlier since I'm an early shopper. But it's getting ridiculous when it is 10am and products are justing getting stocked. I'm not waiting around, I just go to a different store and not Jewel. read more

I shop almost every day for adult Quadriplegic, Parkinson's patient family members and my church. The new manager here is totally hands on and gets no support from corporate. The grocery computer system is never synchd with the registers and prices are always, always wrong. I spend more time at the service desk EVERY time I shop at this store. On the last bears Saturday at 3:00 PM there were no hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and very few wings in the warmers. Why not any contingency plans for food or bodies to support customers? This is not the case at the Palos store. I hope the next time I shop, there is a condescending greater than God Jewel/Osco corporate Rep in the store that can fix things, but I'll have to quiet their criticizing first to get some customer service. I will continue to get my Px here but will make great effort not to shop at this store. I have shopped here for more than 20 years and will be done. I hope the friendly and hard working staff continue to stay here. read more

Deli: please don't slice any Pre-packed cheese too thin. I wasted ,75 of a pound and trashed it.

The manager of this Jewel, Craig, is just a horrible manager. I used to shop here on Fridays and u see him walking around like the mayor of Jewel giving HUGE hellos to the customers and then u see him berating his employees. I was standing right next to him when he yelled at a young kid for not using his brain while bringing the water out. I've seen him speak to the cashiers that way too. He's a bully!! Kudos to your swift response to taking the cashier from the one open check-out lane off post to gather carts. Special recognition for having the south entrance doors locked where there was a plethora of a half dozen rickety carts. have to drop this one down about a star unfortunately they're not doing their job on checking the stock and rotating. there was a couple of times I've come in and had seen some expired Pillsbury Grand biscuits when I've gone to get them for breakfast flaky layers but that got taken care of..however today unfortunately very lacks and checking the McCormick spices and all the spice packets quite a bit of expired stuff from Lowry's to others especially McCormick spaghetti that shows people have not been doing their job on the aisles at their assigned and checking the stock so while it's still nice and close and the main stuff is still good you just want to think twice and possibly look around and check your dates that's all I'm saying read more

My son and I were just at the Homer Glen Jewel. We received terrible service from "Hope". The lines were rather long. So, Hope goes over to a new register and calls over the next person, which was the man in front of us. We follow him, she rings him up and just leaves! She actually just left us there! We had unloaded our groceries. We waited around thinking for sure she was coming back. Nope! She did not come back! I couldn't believe that she did that! Shopped on Saturday for a product that was in the ad. This product required a rebate slip. No one could find a rebate form. The cashier took our phone number to let us know when the form was located. No one ever called. Tried to call the store today but the phone just rang and no one answered. Went in last night around 7:00 PM for a few deli items. No less than six employees were behind the counter. However, only one was waiting on customers! Jewel is one of my favorite grocery stores. When in the area, I frequently visit this location. There is a great selection of groceries, reasonable prices, and the customer service is always great. We never find ourselves waiting in line (Even on the busiest days) for more then 5 minutes. I recommend coming here for all of your grocery needs. read more
