Ok, so I don't write many reviews but when I do it's because a business is top notch in my book. I was lucky enough to come across Juan at JG Installers recently when I wanted some work done on my car. Car wrap and head light restoration stuff. Upon meeting Juan, I was impressed right away by his demeanor/professionalism, his knowledge and personality. I felt very comfortable in what I was being told and if I decided to move forward that my car was in a complete professional's hands. I decided to use Juan over several highly rated shops locally because I felt his professionalism was a even a notch above theirs, his shop is super clean too. I am glad I went with Juan to get the work I got done on my car, it came out beautiful, perfect, he spent the time needed to get the job done right..that is why we pay a professional to work on anything for us as consumers. I wished I had known about JG Installers before I picked up my blue Tesla Model 3. After noticing a couple of rock chips on my hood, I decided to research for a place that installs PPF. There are plenty of installers in the Bay Area but I wanted to go to a shop nearby. I found JG Installers on Yelp. I read all the positive reviews. I looked at all the photos of high end vehicles that Juan, the owner, had worked on. I also noticed that Juan had worked on numerous Model 3s. So, I decided to call Juan who took time to explain the options that were available for me to choose from. Two days later, I showed up at the shop and met Juan who has to be one of the nicest and honest person someone can meet. I chose to have the entire hood, front bumper, head lights, front fenders, side mirrors, front pillars, rear bumper, door edges and the rocker panels covered with PPF. I also have the piano black center console wrapped in matte black to prevent it from being scratched or scuffed up. I returned three days later and saw my car inside his shop. The car looked 100% better than the day I picked it up at the Tesla showroom. While I was there, Juan was finishing up a chrome delete on a white Model 3 Performance. WOW. I might have to return to do the chrome delete and PPF the rest of my car in the near future. If you want your car wrapped in a different color or PPF, I highly recommend Juan at JG Installers. read more

So I heard of Jaun from a friend who swore that after I bought my new car I had to have him at least cover the front bumper. I'm new to nicer cars and had never heard of 3M paint protection film (Clear bra), or anything like it, so I was a bit skeptical. But I looked over his work on my friend's car, spent a lot of time researching and decided to give Juan a call. Juan was a kind, professional and courteous guy who was very happy to lay out all the details and answer all my questions. He didn't push anything and was interested in doing only what I thought needed doing. After a bit of further deliberation I went ahead and scheduled it. I ended up doing a full front bumper, hood and front panels, all for what seemed like a very reasonable price (certainly less than the price of a new bumper alone). When I went to pick it up it was dark and hard to see well, but Juan walked me around the car with a light pointing out everything he'd done. I thanked him, paid him, and took my car home, waiting for the next day's light to take a closer look. I was floored. It was barely perceptible. I mean it was nearly flawless, with clear attention to detail. Admittedly, I covered full panels so there was almost no visible evidence that the car was "wrapped", but it just looked great. It's new, but if everything I've read is true, and I read a lot, this is totally worth it. Easy. Hands down. If you've spent a lot on a nice car then this is clearly the way to protect it. I can't recommend Juan enough. He's just a good, honest guy who takes pride in what he does. I told him I'd take pictures of his work, and I did, but you can't tell what was done, so I didn't post them. It just looks like it should, like a beautiful new car. read more

If you are interested in protecting your car paint by wrapping your car, or part of it, Juan, who owns JG Installers, is who I would wholeheartedly recommend. I checked around and based on what I learned, he easily offers the best value--and he does a great job. I met with him on several occasions, and watched him work on a couple of cars. Beautiful work and precise. I decided to have my front end (TLX Acura), partial hood, lights, and mirrors wrapped. It looks great! I can't even tell it was done, except for the faint edge of the wrap I can barely see on the hood. I am very happy I did it--and with everything he did. The extra bonus? Juan is a really nice guy. He never tried to sell me or try to get me to add this or that on. He even did some extra things for me as a gift. He is just that kind of guy. JG is a one man shop and is the best there is. He does wraps and gorgeous detailing but specializes in clear bra paint protection. JG utilizes 3m film primarily but has others as well. Juan is a friendly, proud, honest family man as well as a seasoned professional who has extensive training from McGuires and worked for Mercedes before hanging his own shingle. Yet even more crucial, he has the extensive experience to do things right. Installation is an art and a high quality result necessitates a commitment to thoroughness, patience, care and skill to achieve the highest quality results. He treats fine automobiles like jewelry and is consciousness and careful. Most of the high end dealers and collision/restoration businesses throughout Marin use him rather than doing this work in house. During my most recent job with Juan he had been doing a stunning concourse Porsche, a brand new Tesla, a Ferrari, McLaren, and a sexy beast of an Audi RS7.
