Hey All... OK where do I start ? I've owned my vehicle for nearly 10 years and I've never had to replace the windshield until just recently and unfortunately It decided to crack across the middle from the passenger through the driver side yes, straight across the middle, so regardless, if I was driving or if I was in the passenger seat, my eyes just focused on that crack across the middle (making me car sick)lol so I decided to reach out to my friends and family on Facebook and ask for recommendations. Cheapest quote but ultimately the most expensive!! Read the bad reviews! We recently used Jiffy for to repair a broken rear window. While they were the cheapest and seemed responsive at first, it ultimately cost us an additional $685 to repair the damage they caused. Their tech didn't properly clean out the glass which irreparably damaged our window regulator. In addition, the tech cut apart the moisture shields rather than simply removing/replacing. I spoke with Jiffy's owner, Kody Olin, several times and he only offered lies. I wasn't even trying to recover the full amount but instead the $150 for the moisture barriers as even Kody eventually agreed his tech didn't follow proper procedure. Kody ceased communication and his partner, Dan Shikiar venmo'd me $28 with no explanation of why and no follow-up. Clearly Kody and Dan don't care about their customers, please take your business elsewhere! read more

The installation appears to be satisfactory. However, the techs that came to the house scratched the front hood of the car in about a dozen places. They also asked for payment and a tip before working. They also did not fill out the Pre-installation damage report. When I called about this the people at Jiffy were difficult to reach. I had to call 3 times and text photos over the course of two weeks before anyone got back to me. They essentially implied I'm lying and did not provide any meaningful support in resolving this. I'm not losing sleep over scratches on my older car, but this was not a professional operation (asking for pay and tip before work, damaging the car, not replying to my requests for help, did not fill out the damage report, and implied I was lying) and I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

Kody and Dan were an absolute nightmare to "communicate" with. This company has absolutely no concept of good customer service. Bobby was my technician when I had to have 7 windows replaced in my Subaru Outback. He alone caused about $600 worth of damage to my wiper fluid hose and my sensor for my automatic Trunk. In the end it was GEICO who reimbursed me $400 after I requested Jiffy Auto Glass be removed from their vendor list. After months of rescheduling Bobby finally came out to replace the sensor he broke. I had to go to the dealership to buy the part. The inside of my trunk is completely scratched and damaged from Bobby, but I'm not even going to waste anymore energy on fighting these people. In the end, the only thing Jiffy Auto Glass paid for was the broken part which was about $80. And to add insult to injury they forget to send me a check for reimbursement and had to just Venmo me. I will definitely be reporting this company to the BBB. I should have read all the horrible reviews before trusting them. Especially Kody. Nightmareeeee. read more

I have been calling all over to find a windshield company that wasn't going to cost 600+, as a single mom, every penny counts. I found Jiffy Auto and they had a "text now for quote " button which i LOVE because phone calls are not ideal for me. I text the number and within 10 minutes, I got a live person texting me back! I answered a few questions and got a really good quote. Got my appointment set for later that week. The morning of the instal, Leo calls me to let me know his ETA. When he realized he was going to be late to our appointment (due to another install running behind) he called me to let me know. I assured him it was totally fine and we worked out a time, same day, that he could still come to finish. He called again closer to time to give me and etc od his arrival so that I could be prepared. From the moment he started the install, it was evident that he had years of experience with installs. I have never needed a windshield replaced but watching Leo, I knew he knew what he was doing. He made it look effortless! Lifting and placing the window without some lift machine! It was crazy awesome to watch and even better that Leo was personable and had great customer service. Chose Jiffy because quote was competitive to two other glass companies. Quote did not include tax but did not state that disposal of old windshield was not included so ended up higher than expected. Did not appreciate hidden cost not up front. Tech, Bobby, did good job after three tries. Initial install he cut molding too short. Second attempt left molding bulging on upper corners. Had I not caught this right away he's have driven off. Third time was a charm (so far). The do OK job but would pay higher price for better professional customer service and installation. read more

Great job, Safelite had canceled the morning of my mobile appointment due to weather even though it was a covered parking garage downtown so I called Jiffy and they said they could get my windshield replaced that same day and 4 hrs later boom I had a new windshield, the tech Eric was excellent he explained everything and had it done all in 1/2 hr! I will never count on Safelite again that saying Anytime/Anywhere is not true! read more

I requested a quote from Jiffy on May 4th and got a reply almost instantly from Kody. Their price was lower than expected so I called them to ask about their warranty. Satisfied with his reply I scheduled the job for the next day. The tech arrived as scheduled and the work was done quickly. I sent Kody a message shortly after to let him know that that everything went well and to get a receipt emailed to me. He asked me to post a review of his company and I'm glad I waited to do so because here is where the problems started. On May 22nd, I noticed the windshield was starting to crack starting from the edge of the windshield. The next morning I noticed a second crack starting at the bottom of the windshield. I took pictures and called Kody to see what could be done and left a message on his voicemail explaining the situation. I never got a call back. I sent him an email a week later to follow up (June 3rd) and attached the picture I took on May 22nd. Again I received no reply. I sent a second email four days later informing him that the cracks were spreading and was still awaiting a reply. In this email I explained that I wanted to be able to post a positive review but could only do so I this matter was addressed. That seemed to get his attention because again I got are reply 9 minutes later apologizing for not replying sooner and asking where I would be so he could send a tech to look at the windshield. I replied again the same day giving him addresses and time and again received no reply. It was not until I again sent him another email on July 19th to follow up again that I finally received a reply. We scheduled a tech to come take a look at the windshield for the following morning and was informed by Kody that once they inspect it they usually hear back within 2 days from the manufacturer and he would be in touch with me at that point. When the tech arrived, he pointed to a in the center of the cracks saying there was an impact mark and that is what had caused the glass to crack and spread. The problem with his theory, is the cracks started nowhere near where he claimed to have spotted an impact mark. When I pointed this out to him he looked again, pointed to a different spot and said "how about here?". I then pointed out the gap in the seal below the windshield, and his reply was "that's normal" and "it just happens sometimes" He took some pictures and said that Kody would be in touch with me soon. I have yet to receive another communication from anyone with this company despite sending yet another email 2 weeks after the tech evaluated the windshield. I have seen by several reviews that Kody has been still responding to new customers during this time, So I can only assume that he was choosing to ignore my concern. If you are looking for autoglass, don't be deceived by their low price. If you have any issues, you will likely be ignored unless you are just looking for new business. I am completely out my money and am left with a windshield that is worse than the one I replaced. read more

A bear smashed my window, after scheduling an appointment they showed up with their truck and performed the installation in the rain. They were professional and extremely thorough, not only did they install the window but they cleaned up all the broken glass from both my car and the driveway. They even spent the time to make sure the window was working correctly and to give me the warranty certificate, I appreciate their efforts and professionalism. My experience: Jiffy Auto Glass' Mobile Service came to my place of employment to replace my windshield on May 16, 2018. Not only was the weatherstripping for the windshield not installed correctly, the technician used tools that no longer had the protective rubber coating intact & subsequently damaged my car by scratching the paint off of my car all the way down to the base. Additionally, there are also scratches on the interior on the driver's side A pillar of my car. I immediately called Jiffy Auto Glass to complain and sent pictures of the damage they caused. The owner, Dan Shikiar, from Jiffy Auto Glass told me that he would repair the damage only if I take it to Automotive Reconditioning Solutions, (ARS). ARS is 34 miles away from my house, doesn't have many reviews & their estimate said it would only take 1-2 days to repair. The two highly reputable companies, Boulder Bump & ABC Auto Body that I received estimates from both stated that ARS would not be able to repair my car to my satisfaction in only 1-2 days. Both of their estimates stated it takes 2 weeks in order to correctly apply the multiple stages of paint for a lasting repair. When I told Dan Shikiar that I want to choose the auto body shop with the highest reviews that is closer to my house he kept repeating that I have to take my car to the auto body shop of HIS choice, even though all 3 estimates were about the same cost. Dan Shikiar has since stopped responding to me. In his last email to me, Dan Shikiar stated that he didn't understand why I was making a "big issue" over a few scratches, since my car is 7 years old and still "drivable." I just purchased my car two months prior and my car's paint was in excellent condition until Jiffy Auto Glass scratched it up. I have spoken with a lawyer and now I have to waste more time taking Jiffy Auto Glass to court in order to have the damage repaired. In reading more reviews, I see that I am not alone in my negative experience. Save yourself time & grief & skip this company! Well my windshield has successfully been replaced, but I seem to be missing many important screws/bolts that anchor my moulding and cowl. I've since lost a corner section of my moulding due to these not being replaced. On top of this, when I gave my card to pay there was a tip line. I have never heard of tipping for a windshield replacement or any car service. I felt pressured to do so, but I was not happy about that--especially since learning that the guy who took care of my car couldn't even be bothered to put the screws back that came out. One star is being very generous. I would not recommend this company at all. Had a small rock chip repair scheduled and they came on site to fix it and promptly created a 1 ft crack in the windshield. I told them the windshield needs to be replaced. They tried to weasel out of it by claiming there's no guarantee that it wouldn't crack and it was already a broken windshield. Of course there's no guarantee after the repair is done that it won't crack but they created the crack. They said they could install a new windshield but I would have to pay for it or cover the deductible. They offered absolutely nothing and took no responsibility for further damaging the glass. Go somewhere else and don't risk using this company. They certainly did a great job to get their company a negative report with the BBB. read more

I am very pleased with the service I received. It was $260 total (with taxes and glass disposal) to get my windshield replaced (and they came to me!). It was way, way cheaper than safelite who were going to charge me $470 and I had to go to them. I called Wednesday and they had a technician out the very next day (Thursday) to replace my windshield at my home. The technician I worked with, Joe, was very friendly and very communicative. He texted me in the morning to say he was coming between 11am-3pm, texted me again when he was 15 minutes out and called and texted me when he arrived (around 1:15pm). The actual replacement took about 25 minutes and went smoothly. I had also spoken to Kody, who is an owner of the company, on Wednesday and he was very kind and talked to me about the services as I was nervous about the bad yelp reviews. He said he handles all warranty claims personally and that only about 3% of customers make warranty claims (they do 1000 windows per month). 1. Installer was supposed to call and give an estimated window for the afternoon. That did not happen. 2. The installer arrived in an unmarked van, without a company uniform. Very uneasy to have no company affiliation referenced. 3. I bought a Groupon for $100 credit toward new windshield. When presented I was told I could not use Groupon. I would have had to pay a higher price in order to use the Groupon. Pretty sure that is called bait and switch, and I am pretty sure that in an unlawful business practice. 4. I have used them before and appreciate the onsite windshield install. The technicians did a great job replacing the windshield on 8/4/2021. They were very careful to clean up the broken glass inside and outside of the car and were very courteous throughout the appointment. They did asked me to confirm the price before they started. I agreed because it sounded right, but I didn't have the paper in front of me. My mistake because when I later compared what I wrote from the phone quote, two numbers were transposed and I ended up paying $40 more than I was quoted.
