This is a 2 for below average because average is getting everything done - maybe without any friendliness or maybe just at a regular pace. I'm not coming back because they, allegedly, put air in my tires at 35? Interesting, because I was happy to get an oil change knowing my tires were very much in need of air to even them out. They were, in fact, different enough for me to validate that, at the very least, the tires got rotated. Was it really that hard to just put air in my tires? TBH, I wonder if other things weren't done like, I dunno, actual full synthetic oil being put in my car, as requested and paid for. Sigh. 2 stars for the guy assisting me/ringing me up being friendly. This is why I go to my tried and true place - but I couldn't get there in time. read more

Not a trustworthy place. Took my car in for an oil change, and they tried to sell me "scheduled maintenance" that was completely uncalled for. Specifically, my car had 51k miles and they told me it was due for a fuel system cleaning (which is not on the Mazda scheduled maintenance at all), coolant replacement (Mazda says 120k miles), and a transmission fluid replacement (Mazdas with SKYACTIV engines have lifetime fluid). The service advisor also tried to sell me filters for the cabin and air intake, which is reasonable, but of course those literally take seconds to do yourself. When I told the service advisor I wasn't interested any of these services (which totaled over $600!) he very quickly developed an attitude. I can only conclude that they are paid on comission. I'll never go back again. read more

Very difficult to talk to someone. They quickly take your car, but want you to sit in the waiting room to upsell you on more items. They did the oil change, which was twice as expensive as I remember but would not rotate my tires as I asked. Also got an attitude. Will not return. read more

I have to say that his jiffy lube has provided pretty good service throughout the years. All of my little roadbeasts have been quite happy with every aspect of this store. Yes, when I pulled up to the Jiffy Lube bay, my current gem, a 1989 Crown Vic ltd, was as happy as a dog being taken to the park. Woof! Like all Jiffy Lubes, they give your car a good once over, but the hard sell really isn't the norm here. So a few minutes on the bay and the Roadbeast is ready to hit the road.. hey, maybe down to Va Beach. I hear that they have a vintage Crown Vic week down there... The regional/district manager made every effort to make me happy and that is what I look for. When you have someone working for you, there is always a chance to have something go wrong. Excellent service at this location. Signature service oil change was done within 30 mins on a Sunday afternoon. Ivan went over the service details and asked to replace my carbon filter because it was dirty. I told him I bought a carbon filter many years ago that I stored in the trunk. If I could give zero stars I would. Went for a simple oil change and two days later my engine almost stalled. Whoever was responsible for replacing the oil filter did so wrongly. This caused all of the oil to leak out of my car in 2 days. Luckily I was close to another jiffy lube and was able to make it to that location without causing damage to my vehicle. The other jiffy lube was able to fix the problem and replace the oil. They then told me to get a refund immediately. Maybe if this location wasn't so quick to rush and do a job it would have been done correctly in the first place. Also my engine cover is ruined. Horrible service and customer service. The first time I went there the tech took my air filter apart and didn't replace it properly. It cost me $220.00 at the dealer to repair it. The manager reimbursed me, so I am giving them a second chance and now I find out what I wasn't paying for I was not getting! I paid for high mileage oil change but I got regular oil. I confronted the manager, told him I will not being paying for the wrong service and I will not pay anymore than I did my last visit. When he left I stayed - even through several rounds of managers and crews - because of Justin and I was scared to go any where else. This is all we knew but none of them came close to Justin. I've been coming to this Jiffy Lube for years, and until now thought they were pretty good. But when I got my oil changed 2/14/2014 and got into my car, MY WINDSHIELD WAS CRACKED!!! I brought to the manager and he said they weren't responsible although he admitted the windshield wasn't cracked when I gave it to them. They tried to say that their security cameras didn't record any "incident" (flying wrench...), I even brought to the attention of their national HQ and they refused to take responsibility. All I know is that when I gave it to them my windshield wasn't cracked, when they gave it back it was cracked. I have been taking my car to this Jiffy Like be location for years. The mechanics are knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and take time to explain what they are doing and why. I trust them with their recommendations because they don't try to up-sell with things I don't need. They have also done things for my car, such as installing a new back wiper, without charging. Echoing the comment of Austin below, this location feels less like a chain, and more like a employee-run/owned business. Customer service is great, and it seems many other locals know it -- the location can be busy from time to time, so I'd recommend you come early, or try a weekday if your schedule allows. Justin is awesome, knowledgable, friendly, easy to talk to, and not at all pushy. I've had negative experiences with oil-change service techs in the past trying to push laughable, unnecessary services. He listens, offers other available services, but never appears to push sales for sales sake. read more

Had the oil changed and tires rotated. I have had a bad experience at other Jiffy Lubes. But this location has always been great. No pushy selling. No oil or grime in my truck. They got all the bolts put back on, which the Woodbridge VA location did not. I will keep coming back. read more

I called in advance and was quoted $71 for a 2015 Prius and then after I showed up, before I would pull the car into the shop I asked for a confirmation. They said they would have to scan the VIN number to do that. The guy shows me a padded quote of $104. Clearly a fraudulent amount based on same day research I had done. Looks like Jiffy Lube has a Consumer Protection Buteau problem on their hands. Dont go here. They are not quoting services consistently to people. read more

This location is definitely the best location in Alexandria i have been to and I use to take my car to the location on Van Dorn Street, however I would often have to take my car back due to them forgetting to complete a service I asked for.
