I had a terrible morning trying to get an oil change at Mr. Tire (see review) and Walmart. The first place tried to gaslight me and then kicked me out. Then I waited 10 minutes at Walmart for someone to come to the counter. Turned out he was in the service bay looking at me the whole time. I called Jiffy and the young guy was so pleasant and thorough. I had a couple of little issues that I was asking about. When I arrived he greeted me and immediately started suggesting what I needed. AWFUL from start to finish. I pulled up but no one came out to greet me. Some random guy walked by and I asked if he worked there. He said "Yeah." I said I wanted an oil change. He just said "OK hold on" and walked off. I got out and walked in the garage and found another worker who just said "Pull up." He did not ask for any information. I had to tell him what I needed and what oil I use. Customers were wandering around the bay area right next to the open pits, a lawsuit waiting to happen. It took over 30 minutes to change my oil once my car was in the bay. The employees were eating sandwiches and joking with each other, only occasionally going under the car to work on the oil change. A guy walked over and gave me the infamous "dirty air filter" routine. I asked how much for a new filter and he said didn't know! After they finally finished I was handed the bill by a guy nonchalantly eating his sandwich. He did not explain any services or go over the charges, just gave me the bill, which was $90 for the oil change and an extra charge of $30 for labor. I am done with Jiffy Lube. I want at least a modicum of customer service and up front pricing. Jiffy Lube corporate obviously has no standards or control over the franchisees, who can run their operation any way they want. And this one on Hendersonville Road is run terribly. read more

The first time I came here they caught an error where Hyundai dealership actually had put the wrong oil in my vehicle and the last time I was here they went above and beyond by informing me of a NC inspection change I needed to know. Inspection was done expediently and with customer friendly service. There was coffee, popcorn & snacks while I waited and the customers were happy and you could tell they were repeat customers. This Jiffy Lube is a bit out of my way but customer service and trust is everything, so they have another returning customer and because they saved me time above and beyond their scope I appreciated the value and affordability of my service. read more

After they finished and had charged me, they told me that they did not have tool to reset the warning lights. This was a problem as I had a warning that coolant was low. Now I need to repeat the service to see if there is a leak or if fluid was just low. Also did not refill washer fluid (they were out of stock) or vacuum car but handed me a receipt saying they had done so. I dont trust these people read more

Warning! My check engine light came on after their oil change! Not before! Then they referred me to a garage to have it checked! Of course I made an appointment somewhere else, but first I drove around a lot. Guess what? My light went out before my appointment at that other garage and it hasn't come back on! read more

I've gone to this location for the past 2 years for an oil change and got good service. During my last visit the customer service was poor. Also 2 of the service guys had masks covering their mouth and not their nose. The 3rd guy had no mask. When I asked why they weren't wearing masks to protect their customers, I was met with a very surly attitude. I won't return. read more

I've gone here several times over the past year for an oil change. Typically, it was fine--convenient and quick. There would always be some little thing slipping through the cracks, like forgetting to switch out my windshield sticker telling me when to get my next oil change, or forgetting to vacuum the car (which is honestly the main reason I'd come here instead of any other of the dozens of places you can get a quick oil change), or giving me the wrong person's receipt. But NBD. But last time I was there, I asked if they did tire rotations, too. They said yes. Great! So I asked for oil change and tire rotation. As I'm cashing out 30 minutes later, they say they didn't end up doing the tire rotation--something was wrong with the lift and the car was about to fall off so they weren't able to complete it. "But your tires look fine so you should be good," they said (of course they look fine, they're pretty new tires and I regularly get them rotated). Their statement doesn't make much sense to me but I say thanks for letting me know and go to leave. (Side note: they forgot to vacuum; the windshield sticker they gave me fell off later that day and is nowhere to be found; and when I was leaving, they accidentally gave me somebody else's car registration (?!) instead of my receipt. But all of this is besides the point because...) I start calling around to see if any other mechanic can get me in for a last-minute tire rotation. I find Discount Tire on Bleachery. Head over there, they are wonderful and knowledgable and get my car in right before closing. Also all of their tire rotations are free?! Mind blown. Amazing. Anyway, half an hour later, a guy comes out and tells me they can't get one of my wheels off. He tells me that the last person to work on my car tried to put the lug nut on at an angle and it's cross-threaded and if I want them to switch the tire then they're going to have to break the stud. Which means I'm going to have to get the stud replaced. I ask how much that costs and if they can do it for me & he says they don't do that but--bless him--he gives me a referral to Curtis Hi-Tech Auto Services so they'll do it for me for free. Took the car to Curtis a few weeks later and they took care of it, but it took several hours because it was a front-wheel stud. Also I live an hour away in Burnsville so I had to drive back into town for the occasion. Oh and also, after I left the Jiffy Lube, I noticed some fresh cracks and a bunch of scuffing in one of my rear lights, presumably from the broken lift. Naturally they didn't bother to tell me about it and just hoped I would...never notice? TLDR; Tried to get a tire rotation but a) my car nearly fell off their lift b) they scuffed & scratched one of my rear lights and didn't say a word about it c) they cross-threaded one of the front lug nuts so d) I had to get the stud broken off by the next mechanic and then e) drive an hour into town on a different day and leave my car at the mechanic's for a couple hours to get the stud replaced. And for all that trouble, they still charged me for the oil change, and forgot the free vacuum that's supposed to come with it. With how negligent they are, who knows what they could be getting wrong with my oil change that I'm just not aware of. Honestly never coming here again. TLDR2; Discount Tire on Bleachery is an amazing place to get your tires rotated, and Curtis Hi-Tech does quality work. read more

The worst customer service I've ever come across at a Jiffy Lube. The work was fine, these two employees were just surly jerks.

I love these guys! I was looking at a long line of cars getting oil changes. When I explained I only needed a free top-off service, the guy spoke to the garage supervisor and pulled my car around the line so I could get a real fast top off. They gave me the full inspection. Topped off my tires. Genuinely gave me the treatment and had me on the road fast. read more

It is not often that I write reviews, but this HAS to be said. I am knowledgeable about cars but have recently lost my ability to physically do work on my vehicle. Being as knowledgeable as I am, there is always fear going anywhere but my shop to get work done on my car. I chose Jiffy Lube being that it was closest to my home. I met a fine young man, Tall, Redheaded and bearded. I believe I heard a coworker call him Josh? This man spoke to me on a level that I haven't heard since my days as an Automotive engineer. Completely understood my automotive jargon, went above and beyond to be sure I felt comfortable and extremely polite! There are not many times in this day and age where I have faith in the younger generation but this young man is the REAL DEAL. I will bring my business there, and ask specifically for this man. I like going to Jiffy Lube, you get an oil change, vacuum, and wash. Also coupons get mailed out in the circulars. If it's raining they'll give you a raincheck for the wash which can be used for any vehicle. They check your fluids, top them off if necessary; check your filters, check your tire pressure, etc. Also you can return and have your fluids topped off. read more

Been here once and had an awesome experience. Got my oil changed and they didn't hassle me into buying other things I don't really need. They'll top off all of your fluids for free and give you up to 3 quarts of oil if you need it (after your oil change) for free. read more
