I've been a customer of Jiffy Lube off and on for years but that came to an abrupt end a few months ago when they traded in their integrity and honor to keep from doing the right thing. So I stopped in for an oil change one day. While getting my oil changed this particular day, one of the service techs told me I needed a new wiper blade on the back window of my van. They asked me if I wanted a new ($15) blade and I said "Sure. Why not?" They slapped the blade on, my oil was changed and $100+ later I was on my way home. I dont know how many weeks went by, but one night it started to rain. So I flipped on the wipers. A few minutes later I heard a weird noise. I turned down the radio and tried to figure out what the noise was and then I looked up at my rearview mirror and I could see my back window. The metal arm of the wiperblade, now minus the rubber part, was swishing back and forth, etching a perfect arc into my back windshield. Of course I turned it off immediately and pulled over at the nearest station and sure enough, the rubber part was long gone. A few days later I stopped by Jiffy Lube on 141& Hawkins Road & explained everything but after looking me up in his computer the gentleman informed me it was the Ballwin location that replaced my blade but he said he could put a new one on. As he was replacing the blade, he half jokingly made a remark about how the blades, "Don't just fall off." So I then drove to Ballwin store and again explained what happened and showed them my window. They rejected all responsibility immediately and sent me on my way. After returning home I recieved a call from the Ballwin store, the same woman who had just refused any responsibility, asking me to bring my van back to the store so they could take pictures to open a claim, so I did. Weeks later I get a call from the claims department telling me they were denying the claim for 2 reasons. #1 being that the warranty is only good for 90 days or 3,000 miles and that by the time it actually rained, allowing me the chance to use the wiper for the first time, and me getting my van looked at, the 90 days was already up. So... #2- the warranty was expired. Warranty? What warranty? I was told nothing about a warranty when they replaced my wiper blade that THEY advised me to purchase. There was no mention of a warranty on the wiper when they installed the wiper, or when they gave me a copy of my itemized bill that day. AND, since THEY put the wiper on, I never saw the packaging or was given any inserts/warranties that may have been inside the package. So please explain how I am supposed to know about a warranty that I was never informed about, to know it even existed? To call me BACK to the store to take photos, only to ultimately deny my claim anyway, due to an expired warranty, that I was given no knowledge of, just proves how determined they were to use any lame a$$ excuse they could come up with, no matter how irresponsible it made them look, just to shirk their responsibility to do the right thing. It was very disappointing. Google reviews show I gave Jiffy Lube a very good review several years ago. That shows how long I've been a customer. I've never reported any other issues with them or anyone else, so clearly I'm not one of those people who leave nothing but fictional bad reviews hoping to get a freebie out of the deal. I honestly thought they'd step up & take care of the situation and I'd continue being a loyal customer but alas, "Nope, and nope." It is what it is, such is life. Shame on you Jiffy Lube in Ballwin. the two guys were nice, but quoted me wrong and there was an additional charge on my receipt. appeared to be a $10 up charge to compensate the $10 coupon.... pretty bogus. $86 oil change is crazy especially when the entire street is filled with auto shops with competitive prices. my shop at home charges $55. wild. read more

The people at this location are amazing. Francesca is always courteous, fast, friendly and knowledgeable. We bring all our cars here and have for years. In fact, we drive past a closer Jiffy Lube just to come to this one. Amazing service and people - that's increasingly hard to find these days. Keep up the great work! read more

Stopped in to get a synthetic oil change during a nation wide roadtrip. I was a bit skeptical since I usually go to my local garage but these guys win me over. Shannon is an absolute pleasure and truly w on me over. She was very sweet and explained all the prices prior to anything being done. Nice guys, helpful and do a good job quickly. They also offer discounts to first responders and Uber drivers. I messed up and read a coupon wrong and thought my service was cheaper than it was, but the guy helped me out and took some of the price off. Definitely recommended. read more

Came in Monday for emissions test. Staff we're nice, but they said their emissions iPad wasn't working properly, so I had to wait to see if it would work. So I had them do an oil change. After oil change, they said the statewide emissions computer system was down so even though the car passed, they couldn't get State approval, so no inspection report for me. As I was paying for oil change, I was told the next time I come in for emissions, I'll be a priority. I went back today, reminded them of situation and was told I had a 3.5 hour wait because it's first come first served with no exceptions. Nice staff...not totally honest. Beware. read more

Very friendly staff. Went for inspection and the inspector was at a meeting that day. Next day got there at 9 and had to wait 90 minutes, but used that time to take a walk. Inspection was completed and they didn't try to sell me anything else. I appreciated that. Will go back. read more

They indeed changed the oil and filter as requested, but they charged me $70 for it. Yes it is a pickup truck and holds a little bit more oil than a car, but that's still insanely out of line for an oil change. I won't be back. read more

Deceptive sales and rebate practices. I needed an oil change quickly, before leaving for a short road trip. Despite the fact that I was their first customer of the day, it still took at least 45 minutes for my "jiffy" lube. The attendant spent at least 25 minutes trying to upsell me on crap I didn't need. Also, there was a "deal" going on for a $20 rebate if you get a higher-quality oil. I agreed to do that. Somehow, though, the $20 rebate became $10. I filled out the mail-in form anyway, and I received the check yesterday in the mail. To my surprise, THE REBATE CHECK IS MADE OUT TO JIFFY LUBE for my next oil change. Boy, do I feel like I was taken! Jiffy Lube and Pennzoil, you have lost this customer forever due to deceptive sales and rebate practices. read more

I got my last oil change at Jiffy Lube, and I have to say, I was rather satisfied. I usually dislike getting my oil changed, because the employees always pester you trying to "up-sell" you extra stuff, which I honestly can't fault them over because I know it's their job, but that still makes me feel uncomfortable. Especially since I usually try to keep my oil changes around $30, this policy can become more than a little annoying. Well, I have to confess that this Jiffy Lube wasn't that different in this regard, because they still tried to sell me a new air filter on top of my oil change, and that along with the total cost of the oil change is what is keeping me from giving them a 5-star review, but I still think they did a very good job, going above and beyond what I expect in an oil change. Since I hadn't replaced my air filter in awhile (maybe ever, in the more than a year I've had this car), and since after they heard the hesitation in my voice, they knocked $5 off of it, I decided to go ahead and get it. The workers were all incredibly friendly, though, and they didn't make me feel too uncomfortable or pressure me too much to get extra stuff, and I appreciated that. I actually hung out in the bay with them during most of the oil change and was able to carry on a pleasant conversation with them, which was nice. So, I went on a Saturday morning, and was able to get the early bird special, which the penny-pincher in me greatly enjoyed. But what really made this a great oil change experience was the friendliness of the employees, their lack of extreme pressure, and the little extra things they did for me at no charge. I had just bought some wiper blades for both my windshield and my rear window, and they put them all on, and sprayed some WD-40 on a back window wiper that was so rusty that it was causing it to not even touch the back window. So they fixed my back window wiper, making it effective again, and replaced my windshielf wipers, all at no charge. They also vacuumed my car out, which saved me a trip to the DIY car wash. Unfortunately, I still spent almost $50, but since I won't have to replace my air filter for awhile, and my next oil change will therefore be much cheaper, I will probably return to this Jiffy Lube, using the coupon they e-mailed me, and again going on a Saturday morning, so I can get that early bird deal. They definitely know how to take care of you, and I really appreciated all of the extra stuff they did for me at no charge, and how friendly everyone working there was. read more

I took my car here because I wanted my fluid levels checked because my transmission had started slipping. Caitlin one of the employees was very rude and when she got in my car she squealed the tires as she pulled it around. I will never go here again, extremely unprofessional. read more

GO TO VALVOLINE!!! This is not even worth a star. This is just the lowest rating I'm allowed to give.. Unfortunately !! The Absolute Worst Customer service I have had in my entire life. If you are looking for fair prices...... keep driving and let your car break down before stopping at this awful shop! You will save a lot more money. Steven, Seemingly nice tried to charge my girl friend over $100.00 for an oil change she told him give me the conventional because she couldn't afford that. He only kept pressuring her to get the full synthetic which she definitely did not need! So I called her and told her to put me on the phone he condescendingly answers, "hey Boyfriend" and began talking over me. I had to interrupt him and tell him to do the conventional and stop whatever you are going to over charge my girlfriend immediately. Instead of listening to my request he told me theres nothing I can do now and she ended up paying well over what she should have for something she did not need! After our conversation he was able to give her a huge discount of $50.00 for a service that shouldn't have cost $50.00 in the first place. The original ad was for $29.95. I will never be at another Jiffy Joke again go to Valvoline your car will make it to Ellisville and they will give you a great professional service with perfect prices. The AC was blowing cold air on the passenger side but warm air on the driver's side. Took it to a dealership only a few blocks from this jiffy lube and was told some air diverter wasn't working and they would have to take apart the entire dash to fix it costing $1,500 or I could trade in the vehicle but they'd give me $1,500 less for it. After a internet search I decided that maybe the vehicle just needed the AC recharged and took it to jiffy lube. They said the vehicle only had 2 ounces of freon when it should have had 19 ounces. 30 minutes and $100 later the AC was so cold I had to turn it up to 70 degrees.
