    I have been to masters touch about 3 times. The first time was for an oil change and the cost was $81 (that could be normal but I just moved here from a smaller town so thought it was a little spendy), then next time I went I asked for an oil change and an overall inspection on my car as winter was approaching the cost was $57, the third time I went in I asked for an air filter change and an oil change (they had a special on oil change for $49.99 that included an inspection, alignment check, fluid top off, clean tires and wheels, I waited for an hour then was ready to pay they charged me $177 for an oil change and an air filter change (which I looked up the price for one for my car and was $25). They sent me a link for my inspection and the report showed steering parts were checked but not a full alignment. When I got in my car I got the warning that my wind shield wiper fluid was empty, I called them and explained that was a high price and I'm unhappy with the service. I said you charged me $60 for labor FOR AN AIR FILTER CHANGE (which I watched a 1 minute video of how to change a filter in my specific car and that does not look like it should be a $60 labor charge, you guys charged me $50 for a new air filter (which mine was $25), and my fluids were not topped off, and my tires and wheels are not cleaned. That was everything included in the "special". He explained that they go through another company for labor prices so I would have to go through them and they were also out of windshield wiper fluid but forgot to state that to me at my service. He did say if I am unhappy with the service they can credit my account with a free oil change for next time. I said thanks and hung up. Overall their pricing and specials seem like a scam. They are VERY nice people but I don't think I will be going back there. Price fluctuates too much that is a red flag, they barely had answers for the charges they charged me besides I have to talk to their labor company. I gave them 1 star because the people there are really nice especially their front desk, Beth.

So my first week here I caught the last snow of the season. It wasn't really much, but I still found myself sitting in my truck trying to get the engine to turn over. Turns out the cold had killed the last life in my battery. And so I found myself taking my truck to Dobbs the next day to get it checked out. They did a free battery check and confirmed my suspicion, my battery needed to be replaced. Service was fast, courteous, and best of all priced well. And to top it all off, they are affiliated with Goodyear, so I get to use my Goodyear credit account. I need some new tires soon and Dobbs will be the place I visit.

    I live in a state where, unfortunately, an emissions test is required before license plates can be…read morerenewed. Whether one considers that a public service or a government-sponsored scavenger hunt for cash is beside the point; we all have to do it. With that in mind, I scheduled an 11:00 a.m. appointment at Dobbs Tire & Auto for an emissions test. I arrived five minutes early, handed over my key fob, and took a seat in the waiting area, expecting the process to be relatively quick. An hour later, after nearly succumbing to the fumes given off by the display tires in the showroom, I politely inquired about the status of my vehicle. Rather than receiving an update or an apology for the delay, I was met with a sharp rebuke from the employee at the desk, Steve, who seemed offended that I had dared ask. The emissions test was eventually completed nearly two hours after my scheduled appointment. Now, I understand that delays happen. Cars break, schedules back up, and unexpected problems arise. What I don't understand is the complete lack of communication, the rude response to a reasonable question, and the absence of even the most basic customer-service courtesies. Not a single apology for the delay. Not a simple "thank you for your patience." If you're going to keep customers waiting for nearly two hours for a scheduled appointment, the least you can do is treat them with a little respect. I came in expecting an emissions test. I left with an emissions test and a lesson in how not to treat customers.

My cat was making a whirling sound. So, I took my Honda to dealership where I am told, I need two new tires- sound gone, and recommend an alignment How did the tire shop miss it, i don't know. .. Yes, I called and talked the to Mark, who said I should have brought it back. You misdiagnosed my car and bring it back. I asked for the refund of the money spent another they did on the car for my inconvenience, and they have left me on hold. Said someone would get back to me but no has... buyer beware

    I would not recommend this location to anyone. I went in to get my front left tire replaced due to…read morea bubble on the sidewall. Instead, they replaced the front right tire because of a mistake in how the front desk entered the work order. That's fine--mistakes happen. However, when they brought me into the back to talk to the technician, he stated, word for word, that there was a bubble near the valve stem on the front right tire, which is why it was replaced. I regularly inspect my tires after hitting potholes, especially because I have low-profile tires. I told the manager that if there truly was an issue near the valve stem, there should be no problem taking a reference photo by putting the tire back on the rim and airing it up. There turned out to be no issue with the front right tire after doing this. At that point, I had a new tire installed on the front right, and they had moved my previously good-condition front right tire to the front left. All seemed well--so I thought. The first day I drove to work the following week (the first time I reached highway speeds since the service), my steering wheel started shaking. When I got to work, I checked and found that they had completely removed all the balance weights from both of my front rims and hadn't rebalanced the tires. During my initial visit, I had clearly told them that I had an alignment, balance, and rotation done just a month prior. This was my first and last experience with Plaza on West Clay Street in St. Charles. You can't rely on them to get it right the first, second, or even third time. Please, please, please make sure you understand your vehicle well so you don't get taken advantage of by the dishonest people at this West Clay location.
