I decided not to get the $40 oil change. (You're kidding on that price, right?) After 10 years of faithful service my a/c needed a recharge. I specifically asked prior to the $150 refill if they check for leaks. They said "absolutely". Well after 3 days my a/c was dead again. Since I have a "year guarantee", they checked for leaks (found nothing) put in some "stop leak" and recharged. Well 3 days later the a/c is dead again. I ask from some of my money back because I didn't think 6 days of a/c was worth $150. I was told , nope. They told me to go find a real a/c repair shop, have the a/c fixed, don't have them fill with gas after they fix it and they will charge it for free. Yeah, right. A real repair shop would do that for me. Do yourself a favor, and find a real repair shop and avoid this place like the plague. read more

From start to finish my overall satisfaction at this location is spectacular, the staff makes you feel welcome as if this were their actual home their hospitality wowed me, they offered to pour me a cup of coffee? Really?? That's a little too much lol BUT That's a 5 star service, my oil change took no more then 10 minutes. Prices are a little too high but the job is done in a friendly and professional matter. All I needed was an oil change and it was a Sunday and I went to every Mavis store I can think of to do it for me and it turns out its a 2-3 hr wait and I had to drop off my husband to work by 11 and it's almost 9. So I called jiffy lube by BP gas station and ask if they do oil change and they told me it's 30 mins at most and It better than 3 hr wait just to do an oil change. If I had to do myself I would except I don't know how. So I went to park behind the cars and gave my keys, they were nice enough to tell me I can save $12 more online. A mechanic was nice enough to even open the door for me and everyone else. I was never greeted like that at Mavis, they are much of a longer wait and I've had bad experiences with them in the past at the one in east meadow across 7/11. read more

If you are a woman who knows little to nothing about cars don't go here. They will take advantage of you. My car died, so I went here for a battery change. The wrong battery was installed in my car, and it wasn't until I went to a different, half-decent mechanic for a separate issue that I was told the wrong battery was installed. It blatantly did not fit, and was moving around banging into everything under my hood because it was too small. Safety hazard! Turns out Jiffy Lube didn't have my car battery in stock so they installed the next best thing without securing it down. Went back to have them rectify the error and the airhead manager tried to convince us that there was nothing wrong with the battery that was in there...I had to open this moron's catalog book and show him which battery was the correct battery for my car. If I didn't do my research, I would have believed the lies coming out of this guys mouth. Only after pleading my case and doing his job for him did he agree to install the correct battery (which fit right in). After waiting 2 hours and with no apology, we left. Went to Jiffy Lube in Bethpage. They upsold me on a transmission change (after selling me on differential which is not needed in my 2wd CRV). After changing the fluids they could not close the plug because there was a chip in the plug. The mechanic says it was there all along . OK - well then why are you changing the fluid if it was already leaking?? A local mechanic sees a hairline crack all around the plug which he thinks is from overtightening. Bottom line - it has been 15 days and I have been getting the runaround. My fluids are still leaking and no one in corporate claims seems to care. I fear I will do irreparable damage to my car, but I am not laying out a cent for something they caused. read more

Sunday August 5th the air conditioner in my car was not working and I couldn't take it anymore.. I decided to look up how much Freon cost on the web. My husband's regular mechanic quoted us $1,000 to get the air conditioner working again. Another mechanic quoted us $2,000. The car is in 1993 Cadillac Seville. I decided that I had to look into this further because the interior and exterior of the car is in perfect shape. I have all of the maintenance records from the day my father bought the car until he gave it to me it was garage had the oil changed on a regular basis but putting $2,000 and to get the air conditioner working seems excessive to me. I read a few posts and decided to call Jiffy Lube I'm so glad I did Kenny answer the phone and this is on a Sunday afternoon he told me about a sale they were having that it's usually $149 to have the radiator checked and Freon added but there was a sale right now it was $99. I didn't think that they would even be open on a Sunday but Kenny told me that he could put the car in and have it worked on I could bring it right in. I told my husband what he said and how nice he was a my husband said it's impossible there's no way but I'll bring it over there anyway! I called my husband's a half hour later he was driving home with the air conditioner on so happy about meeting Kenny and Sherry and everyone who worked at the shop. How he was treated so nicely and it cost the exact amount of money I was told when I called. We met my family for dinner and and told everyone about what a wonderful experience we had and now they're going to start using Bethpage, NY Jiffy Lube for their cars. We're going to continue to spread the word because finding a good honest mechanic seems to be an epic feat. read more

That's all I can say I saw that they were closing but that didn't stop braulio from coming out to my car and making me feel like I wasn't an inconvenience to them my car is my baby and they took my baby in their hands and make sure she was safe through the whole process I will recommend this location to everyone. I left feeling so satisfied and confident that my car was professionally taken care of the manager braulio was very knowledgeable and really guided me in the right direction. Nick was a gem I can tell just by watching him that he knew what he was doing this crew is great thank you guys so much ! Jiffy lube Bethpage says it opens at 8am but good luck getting an oil change.I waited a half hour and at 805am I was informed that the employee who did oil changes may not be in for a while .I do not understand how a company such as jiffy lube be at the mercy of one employee who cannot be at work on time. read more

Every time I come here to the Jiffy Lube they are all very friendly but they talk a good game especially to women right now to women are waiting in the room for their oil changes they have been sold the super deluxe your car is totally messed up package anything above $70 he said he could do a garden-variety oil change he turned me away. Very unprofessional Jiffy Lube. The one in East Meadow is much nicer and they treat their customers much better. I have been hung up on by this location. They have cursed and talked about illegal activity right in front of myself and other customers. Always forget to replace the sticker in my window and have also forgotten to put washer fluid in, in the past. The 2nd to last time I was there, the worker said they don't get paid enough and sent me away because they were short staffed. I will no longer go back to this location. I went to get an oil change for my 2006 GT Mustang at Jiffy Lube,I had a few coupons, I told the guy that I wanted an oil change with synthetic oil. He said ok no problem it will be about $70.00 ok thats fine,then I went back outside to tell him I needed full synthetic Oil he said ok that will be $109.00, I said forget it,I can go to Ford Service for $70.00. (which I did end up going there) Who does Jiffy Lube think they are? What ever happened to being Cheaper then everyone else? the guy at jiffy Lube said oh we vacuum your car (Don't need that my car is clean already) and we tap off the fluid levels too,any place does that too.I won't ever go there with my car again,the guys were nice there but the prices weren't worth it. read more

I am not sure where to begin, I feel bad for those who do not know the proper procedures jiffy lube is supposed to go through. First off this location has totally gone to bad, they are unable to keep their good managers because not treated right as well as employees. I got my oil change and when finally got my car in Braulio dropped the oil changed filter and put drain plug in then was spoken to about the oil that I wanted. The teamwork has disappeared it's a mess. Then Braulio who did lower bay asked has this car been to jiffy lube before and was told yes. Took few min of the car sitting there and then Braulio walked around made a phone call got oil to put it in, while I could hear him on phone ( should watch his language) oh and also not talk about how he does not like working there and is only there for more money, not to assuring. After oil was in he then asked you last went to deer park JL? He knew because the computer said so then went to tell me they messed up my drain plug saying they cross threaded the plug. Sorry to say but I personally know the lower bay mechanic that worked on my car and he would have given me notice of the issue. This has become a slow service store and not thrilled about them not caring, also the QI? Yea there was none, car wa started and he took a flashlight and looked down the middle front on the engine for leaks? Sorry but the drain plug and the oil filter are not there, oil filter is passenger side and after telling me about the drain plug he didn't go downtairs and look? Need to find better employees who treat customers cars as their own. I'll stick to doing oil myself, someone who cares about knowing things are done right. read more

For a big box oil change place this location provides a pretty impressive level of personal service. I keep coming back to this one location in particular because they even remember my name and are never pushy about service add-ons, they offer but I don't have to fight anybody. For oil changes and regular maintenance/inspection I love that I never need an appointment and I can wait in their clean waiting area for a short period of time and leave with my car within the half-hour. stay away from these crooks. Failed my NYS inspection because of a wiper blade that i replaced a month ago. They claimed it was ripped - it wasn't. Then they hit me up for a $10 fee for a 2nd inspection that i shouldn't have even needed. Then they replace BOTH blades after telling me just 1 was ripped. Never again. read more

BEWARE, dishonest employees. I paid for a tire rotation and oil change here and when i got home i noticed that the tires on my passenger side were not rotated. The shop was busy when i left so i gave them the benifit of the doubt and called back. They put the mechanic on the phone who lied to my face and said he did both sides.
