DO NOT get an inspection done here. My vehicle was not passed because of a skittle sized hole my brake lights. You can't even tell unless you pull out a freakin microscope, and it's passed a couple inspections before today. Not only this but he failed me also for my windshield wipers - which baffled me because they work flawlessly. When he points out why - it was because the at the very tip, less than an inch had separated from the wiper. Absolutely ridiculous. And then proceeded to charge me for his excellent inspection skills. Again, unless you have a new or perfect vehicle DO NOT GO HERE. Any human with a soul would not make you replace your entire brake light for something that does not affect the safety of your vehicle. read more

I came here for an inspection, waited only a couple of minutes to be seen and then the inspection took 40 minutes. While the inspection time was long, that is not the reason I will not be back. I definitely felt preyed upon by the employees here. The mid 30's blonde technician guy, came up to my car, leaned against my window and just stared at my legs while he talked and tried to be "cute" while he gave me the run around as to whether they did inspections there. Soooo gross. I had a couple of friends with me and all he was really doing was just wasting our time. All I can say is thankfully the guy who actually did the car inspection was much more respectful. But the gross blonde guy still managed to come up several times during the inspection and waste our time again. Will never return again because of him. Came in today and had little kids sleeping in their car seats. So the wonderful crew had me jump out of my car and let my kiddos sleep! They were very nice and informative to me! I did let me know about a discounted tire rotation to check my breaks checked because I was almost at 50,000 miles and haven't had my breaks replaced! My wife and I went in for an oil change, and was told of a 45 minute wait and a $99 price. 2 hours later and a bill of $132 later I ask why they couldn't keep to a time schedule or do math. I looked close at my bill, and was charged for an upgraded oil filter without permission and charged for upgraded oil without my permission. This place is little more than a scammers paradise. $99 for an oil change is ridiculous. This was and will be my last visit to Jiffy Screwed. read more

Worst service ever. Was quoted $99 for my oil change with my year make and model displayed. After sharing my other needs with air filters was informed my oil change would be $190. Coincidence they already drained my oil and I was handcuffed. Manager thought giving me an $18 discount would be satisfying. Very inconsiderate and insulting. My experience with Jiffy Lube in Boerne, Texas: About a year and a half ago, I was in a bind. I was at the time helping my Dad take care of my Mom. She had dementia and many other ailments. I was trying to do freelance work in my spare time. It was a very hectic time for me, and when I took my car in for an oil change at the Jiffy Lube Boerne, they told me it was not safe to drive. They said my brakes needed repair, and that they could fix it. Normally I would not have my brakes fixed at an oil change place but I was in a bind. I had to be at several programs the next day with my work, so I ended up renting a car and having Jiffy Lube go ahead and fix it. A few weeks ago I discovered my brakes were not working, so I took the car back to Jiffy Lube. They did not fix my brakes properly, but the labor was out of warranty. The brake parts were still in warranty. But, not only did the shop decide they would not honor the parts warranty... they wanted to charge me almost $1,000.00 to fix my car... something that they didn't fix correctly the first time. I decided not to be taken advantage of a second time, so I had my car towed to the family-owned brake company in Boerne. They charged me $260.00 to fix everything. I have e-mailed and messaged the customer service lines several times and have not received any satisfactory response... only that they have "opened a ticket." It's been about two weeks. Buyer beware: If you are a female that is middle aged or a Senior and are in a particularly busy and hectic time of your life... this company will see you as a target and try to take advantage of you. I waited an hour and a half for a inspection with one person in front of me. Once completed I paid and left with my paperwork. Not a single member of the crew mentioned I failed my inspection just acted as if everything was normal and asked for payment and that's it. Communication and organization is terrible here, save your money and especially your time go elsewhere. Just sat there for 45 minutes waiting fot TX State inspection. 5-6 employees monkeying around. One car getting new wipers. Never saw a vehicle go through rhe inspection bay. Was told when I arrived I was # 3. Based on vehicle's processed I would have been there for hours. Ran out of time / patience. Drove to another inspection place quick lane. In and out in 15 minutes. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help out. Even though it is a chain, the people that work there are all local and it feels like a local business. One star because I'm not sure if 0 stars would register. Came in for a oil change- that's it. I stated that to begin with. I was offered, borderline harassed for many other services that I said "No." to many times. Price was not as advertised, wait was much longer than quoted (by about 45 minutes). My car was filthy when I got it back, grease and oil stains that haven't come out yet. When I first noticed the stains, I went to approach two managers (Joeseph and Chris) who were talking to one another and they smelt very strongly of marijuana. After I stood there for a good bit, I was finally acknowledged, and both looked like they were spacing out, not registering anything I was saying. Literally walked out mid sentence. Absolutely ridiculous. I've been to this location a few different times, maybe 3 years prior and it was amazing. Didn't see many if any of the old employees there. Very sad. Overall, horrid experience. Will never return and make sure everyone I know is aware of the unsafe conditions of this "business ". read more

Nothing Jiffy about it! There was no wait ahead of me and all I needed was an oil change and tire rotation, this took an hour and 15 minutes!!!! I watched numerous workers walk around, one guy went to his car, rolled down the windows and put up a sun shade, then went back to work on my car. ZERO sense of urgency! I'm going to start off by saying that the lady who checked me out was incredibly sweet and helpful. She was the only thing about this place that was remotely alright. The gentleman who did the oil change on my car told her to inform me that I had a Rear Main Leak. They said that for my Kia Forte that this would be roughly $800 to fix. They said that they could take the car in that day but it would be a day or two to get back. They encouraged me to get it fixed right away. I decided to take it to the Kia dealership. When I got there they inspected my vehicle and they found that it was not a rear main leak at all. They found that Jiffy Lube had put in the wrong fuel filter, and had been putting in the wrong kind for quite some time. The dealership fixed this for me at no cost. I will not be returning to this location or any other for that matter. This mistake threw my entire day. I'm a grad student and this is finals time. Instead of being able to get work done and study I had to drive 40 minutes into San Antonio to the dealer for what I was told was a serious problem only to find out that it was not what they told me and that I had my entire day wasted. I would rather pay more and know that it's being done right than pay less and worry. read more

DO NOT GET AN OIL CHANGE HERE!!! SCAM ARTISTS! I was traveling through town and needed an oil change bad. I came in on February 18th right before close on my way back home to Houston. I was greeted by the Manager Nick, great guy. Very friendly service all around, no wait time. Over all it was a great experience. UNTIL!!! I arrived back in Houston and my truck started giving me issues. I took it in to get checked and the Service Manager asked me how long it's been since my last oil change. I said "two days". He said "I don't think so, that oil filter looks like it's been there for months. It's got mud and grime and stuff that doesn't happen in two days on the highway." I was in disbelief and had to look myself. Sure enough the oil filter was untouched. So they changed my oil and kept the same dirty oil filter, which contaminated the new clean oil with the junk the old oil filter had for months. My invoice states that I was "given/not charged" for an oil filter worth $5.00 as part of the service. So obviously this is where they try to get you. "Well sir we didn't actually charge you for an oil filter". It's obvious they prepare themselves for when they get caught scamming customers. I had to pay for another oil change so they could properly diagnose my truck. I called and spoke with the manager Nick who remembered me, and he was very apologetic and stated that this is not how they do business and he would talk with his technician. I demanded a refund, and he said he would have his general manager call me. So far I haven't received a single call back from either one of them. I've seen undercover videos of places like this getting busted and didn't imagine Jiffy Lube was one of them. Apparently this location is. Stay away from this location. read more

Jiffy Lube location 1345 S. Main St., Boerne Texas. My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to this location for synthetic oil changes. That stops today, I was shown an air filter that was totally destroyed and had a years worth of dirt and leaves in it. I was told, I should buy a new air filter. My husband had put a new air filter on my van, November 2016 and it is still very clean! I was told my valve cover gasket's were leaking oil and needed to be replaced. They would do it for me. My husband looked at my valve cover gasket's and they're perfectly clean, no oil leaking anywhere. I was told I needed a new battery, it wasn't holding charge. I had purchased a new interstate battery in November 2016. Also, months ago and I don't have an invoice for it. My husband took his car there for a synthetic oil change. The manager brought an aluminum cross thread to him, stating that the oil pan had been stripped. We will not be doing future business with Jiffy Lube! I am placing a complaint with JiffyLube.com/help, the Better Business Bureau, yelp, all the Facebook business groups in our area, to hopefully keep other people from getting ripped off!! Used to be my favorite Jiffy Lube for excellent customer service and efficiency. It must have changed management recently, and now is one of the worst for customer experience. After changing my oil, the Jiffy Lube technician forgot to insert the removed screws on the plastic skid plate under my auto. The plate immediately fell off the auto as I drove away from the Jiffy Lube service location. I returned to the service location. The Jiffy Lube manager just shrugged his shoulders over the problem. No apology for the shoddy work, nor any concern for the minor damage caused to the skid plate. Recommend that you STAY AWAY from this Jiffy Lube location. read more

Thieves! I took my car there on December 11, 2014 and had left a container of my prescription pain meds in the middle console from my surgery 5 days before. Someone in the garage stole exactly HALF of my meds. They also promised me 10 dollars off on an air filter and they did not deduct that from the total and told me that they did. Also a simple oil change with filter replacement took an hour without any cars ahead if me in line. Do not use this location, they are awful thieves and con artists. I came her for an oil change. Took about an hour, no big deal. Paid and left. When I got home, I went to get my paperwork from a house closing off of my front seat. I realized that whoever had been inside of my truck spilled my coke on the front seat of my truck and just decided that it wasn't important enough to clean it up or say anything about. When I called to ask wtf, they said that if I wanted to bring it back, they had some stain remover they could put on it. So I opened my Visa bill this morning and they charged my husband twice on the same day for the service - first charge was for full amount because they forgot to deduct the coupon he had presented him, and the second charge was for the correct amount. When I called and spoke to the manager, he told me it was because the credit hadn't been sent through even though the charge was over a month ago and my billing cycle had plenty of time to reflect the credit. I had already called Visa to make sure it hadn't been credited but not showing up as well as looked online just to make sure there wasn't an overlap. This is second time this has happened. In addition, they don't reset the indicators. The last time my husband was there, he spoke to a man who was in waiting room and he had brought his vehicle back up because the oil cap was missing and his indicator light came on as soon as he left. read more

Had a terrible experience getting my auto inspection. Pulled in and was told it would be about 20 minutes. They asked me to leave my keys on the dash. Went into the lobby to wait. Witnessed another customer who did not have current insurance discuss this issue with the inspector only to step behind the door to the service bay and come back in to the waiting area. He was called to the window 15 minutes later and paid for the inspection and left. I also overheard a service technician give an elderly woman a fairly hard sell to upgrade her oil selection and replace all her filters. She was clearly confused by the conversation but in the end said "well I guess you need to do what you think is best". After 45 minutes I went to the window to collect my keys as I had an appointment and could wait no longer. The same man who "checked me in" told me my car had been done for sometime but "his guy didn't tell him I was waiting so they never called my name in the lobby." Seriously, same person who checked me and and direct me to the lobby needs "his guy" to tell him I am waiting. Terrible place. Will never return. read more
