I normally don't leave reviews but thought it was necessary after my experience. A few months back I received a coupon in the mail for buy one get one free oil change. I used the coupon and the guy told me the computers were down and so he couldn't input the coupon but he would once they are back up he took down my email address to make sure I got an email with the code for the free oil change. I never got a code so I called about it. Found out the guy wrote down my email address incorrectly which is why I never got the code. I asked if they could resend the code or if I could come in with my invoice to prove the original oil change. Was told "I can't just give away free oil changes because people see it in the paper". Again this coupon was for buy one get one free so in order to get a free oil change it would require someone to get an oil change first. They acknowledged that the coupon existed so I don't understand how there is no possible way for a work around especially when the error is on their end. Do not waste your time going here especially if you have coupons. Almost every other option in Brownsburg is better. read more

I needed new brake pads and an oil change, so I took my car to Jiffy Lube thinking I'd hit two birds with one stone. However, I was informed by the technician that Jiffy Lube only does full service brake work, meaning they won't just change your pads -- you must also pay them to replace your rotors, whether they actually need replaced or not -- at a cost of $600. In my case, the rotors didn't need changed, and the technician admitted as much when I asked what condition they were in. When I asked if they could just be turned, he said the industry now frowns on that, which is news to other people in the same industry who I spoke to. I contacted another vendor and had my pads replaced on all four wheels for $200, including parts and labor. The technician who worked on my car said my rotors were fine -- they didn't even need turned. I usually get my oil changed at Jiffy Lube, but after this experience, I won't be patronizing them again. I now see them as dishonest, untrustworthy and undeserving of my business. read more

They usually have a long list of things wrong with my car, but I'm sure a part of their job is to try to upsell, which is fine, because they always take a "no thanks" and don't push it. They explain things well, the place is always tidy and clean, and they are always very friendly. I only come here for oil changes. IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE ZERO STARS I WOULD! I cannot describe to you the complete f*ed up mess this place is. They push and push to sell you anything. If you were a blind man they would try to sell you sunglasses. All we wanted was an oil change, $70 later they stripped out 2 lug nuts. The pis poor teenage manager was like "not my fault" contact corporate if you have an issue. The reason I went is because I was short on time and needed an oil change. They were able to get me in and out in about 15 minutes. That was great except as I was on my way to my next stop for the day I noticed my windshield wiper solution light was still on even though I specifically asked before paying if it was filled. After finishing my errands I went back and let them know the light was still on. They proceeded to tell me that sometimes when filling, there are a lot of bubbles and the tank doesn't always get all the way full. Larry walked me through what to expect, the time frame that they were going to get everything done in, and was overall super friendly. Started my oil change before me agreeing with the price of the service which was $30 more than anywhere else, saying it was including topping off fluids, cleaning windows and vacuuming the inside. I just washed my car and needed my oil changed, so I reluctantly agreed to the price. But since I needed the inside vacuumed and I wouldn't have to do it, I thought I would atleast get my $30 worth of extra money spent out from going to the dealership and have it vacuumed inside. I was in need of an oil change and with a busy schedule I can never get into the places that require appointments. I looked up jiffy lube and read that their oil change service came with many perks on top of the oil change as I have listed below directly from their website. Change: Oil with up to five quarts of quality motor oil Oil filter Inspect Key Components: Antifreeze/coolant reservoir levels Engine air filtration system Serpentine belts Brake fluid level (in transparent reservoirs) Wiper blades Exterior lights Chassis (lubricate when applicable) Check and Fill: Tire pressures Transmission/transaxle fluid Differential/transfer case fluid Power steering fluid Windshield washer fluid Battery water (excluding sealed batteries) Clean: Exterior windows Vacuum interior floors All of this for $40.00 plus they offered a $7.50 off coupon which doesn't or shouldn't change the type of service you receive. I read the small print on the coupon and no where did it say they would give you less for using one. This may seem silly but I was actually excited to go get my oil changed and have everything checked and the car vacuumed since again I'm a very busy person with little free time. As the gentleman were inspecting my car I waited in the lobby. I could here them say I had a headlight and a fog light out. They were completely done with my car in about 10 minutes. They called me up to pay and never mentioned the headlight or fog light to me. I know I heard them through the glass but what if I hadn't heard. Isn't the reason an inspection is done is so the driver knows what else needs fixed or serviced on their vehicle? I let that go because In this instance I did hear them and I was aware that my headlights were out. I walk out to leave and notice that my interior didn't get Vacuumed nor did my windows get washed. They also didn't put the tag in my window telling when to get my oil changed again or the mileage it was serviced at. I know these are small things but I only went there because they advertised that this was much more than just an oil change. I could have went to bill estes ford and paid 19.99 but I went to jiffy lube instead because of everything you get for the price and the quick service. Point being how can I trust that you did anything on the list of services included with the oil change if you failed me in so many other areas??? I watched them wash another vehicles windows and put the sticker in their window so why not mine? I won't go back because of the disappointment. read more

I've been going to these guys for the past 10 years. They have taken care of me and my vehicles of course. They always do a great job and are quick about it. Of course like any other business they will try to sell you some upgrades which is understood. If you are looking to save a couple bucks, try using the Foursquare App or keep an eye out in your mail for $10 off coupons. Quick fast and efficient even on a Diesel engine

My schedule was too packed to make it to my favorite service spot (Mears in Bburg), so I ran in to Jiffy Lube in June for a signature oil change & tire rotation. At my next oil change (@ Mears), I was informed that Jiffy Lube removed my air filter & never replaced it! I'd been driving around without an air filter. I bought a new air filter & went to Jiffy Lube to complain. I was met in the parking lot some distance from the building by a very young man who was talking on his cell phone & hanging around a pickup truck. He told me there was nothing he could do & to complain to Jiffy Lube customer service. I will not be back. read more

The offer a "Signature Service Oil Change" which is supposed to include checking tire pressure, all your fluids, vacuuming your car, etc. They charge $39 which I think is a bit high if you ask me. The local car dealer charges $19 for a basic oil change which is much better, but it was Sunday and I wanted to get it done. First thing -- Get a coupon from thier website. Save up to $7.50. Since I didn't witness their service and verify that they did everything, I have to assume they did. But, when I got to my car I see that they only vacuumed the front. The back was just as I left it which could have used a cleaning. It just makes me wonder - if they missed something this simple, what other corners did they cut? I won't go back there and won't recommend them. ** Follow up: 8/11 I emailed them using the email on the back of the invoice to provide them feedback on my experience. The email came back as undeliverable. So, I went to their website and use the online form -- it too failed with a server error. Third time was a charm - I used the form a 2nd time and it seemed to have went through. They make it hard to even tell them they did a poor job! ** Follow up: 8/13 You can't make this stuff up! So, my car wouldn't start - no worries. I jumped it and it started fine. Then, let it charge for 1/2 hour and turned off. Then tried to start and no luck. The battery wouldn't hold a charge. It was almost 5 years old so not a big deal. But, when I removed the both caps on the battery to check the water level, guess what -- dry!! On the Jiffy Lube invoice they listed my battery as "Sealed". I don't blame them for my battery dying -- heck, it was about time. But they charge you a premium for all the extra service and then don't do it. read more

I have been taking my car to this location for several years for service. I have hever received anything but the utmost in curteous and prompt service. I have never paid for or been pushed to jpurchase any service that my car did not require. Although I have dealt with many different employees at this location over the years, every employee has gone out of their way to make sure that any work completed was done to my satisfaction.
