Very disappointed in my service today. I went in for an oil change. After the diagnostics I could use a new battery & cables and 2 new tires. I said no on everything but the oil change. I was there for 45 minutes, customer after me was in and out before me. I finally asked what was taking so long for an oil change the guy yelled to another guy no battery replacement. The manager Sean - did not come back into the office at any time to discuss the confusion. When I stated that I was unhappy with the service he acted like - oh well, no apology about the long wait or concern that I was unhappy with the service. Would not recommend for battery replacement - they wanted $260 to do 10 minute job that I can do, or if you are in a hurry. When comparison shopping most jiffy lube reviews were over a year old, so I'll share. This location included several norms: greeting you at your car, opening doors, and welcoming you to the seating area with complimentary coffee. Other standard practices are providing the service while checking for other automotive needs. (Need to make money, right?) What makes some locations stand out his courtesy, integrity and a good work ethic. This location had all of those. My car is fairly new (less than 50k miles) and the greeter shared that it wouldn't need much maintenance. I left with the expected service plus on cabin air filter , not surprising with a dog in the car. While waiting, I sat with several repeat customers and that's a very good sign. On 18 October, I was coming to replace the the pads and the rotors of my vehicle. A simple work that supposed to take 1-2 hours at least. Jiffy did more harm than good. The front brakes were installed backwards all so The rear brakes were installed backwards as well The springs for the rear brakes are missing along with the parking brake actuators. The rear calipers are not releasing properly and need to be replaced. The burning smell that I have since then is cause by the front brakes heating up due to the front brake hoses failing. They did not fit the wheels properly and because of that my car is shaking every time I pass the 50 MPH. They lied to me, They weren't honest with me, And they were trying to sell me products that I didn't need just to get more money out of me. Everyone who read this- be careful and do not go for this store!!!! For anything- do not go there!!!! read more

I'm quite pleased. Though we have free oil changes at the dealer Jiffy Lube allows you to sit in the car. For the pandemic paying for this is a health protection. They are polite and careful. Both the mechanic and the supervisor checked oil levels. read more

I came in for a cabin air filter changed and walked out with a bill of $228. Granted my car's cabin filter location required them to take out some cabin parts to go behind the glove box, but a cabin filter change should not cost $228! The listed price for cabin air filter change is $59.99. How can you add on $165 extra for 1 hour of labor they claim it took them to do the job? This is price gouging at it's best. read more

Great service provided at this location! My windows and carpets were cleaned, oil was changed, fluids checked, tire checked and I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. I was impressed at the time and quality of the service as I watched them do things from the waiting room. Ive been using this location for 22 years and have always had good experiences with them. I came to this Jiffy Lube for my regular oil change and tire rotation. I just moved to the area, so I'd never been to this location before but have been to others in the past. The service was completed quickly and everyone there made the experience super pleasant. When I pulled up my car, a nice employee opened my car door for me and lead me to the lobby to wait. The employee at the desk (Stephen) made sure to thoroughly explain everything they were doing and made recommendations on other services to add (air filters, wiper blades). When my car was finished, another kind employee held the door open for me and even opened my car door for me. To top it all off, they'd taken the time to vacuum my floor mats. I came here to get my transmission and oil fluids checked after a bad experience at the Dobbin Centre Jiffy Lube where I got them both changed. I was very weirded out by the service at the Dobbin location and was even suspecting those guys replaced my brake light with a burnt out bulb. Not only did this jiffy lube check everything over for me for free, they also replaced the brake bulb without asking to and expected nothing in return! I just stopped here today after work. I got some work done the previous weekend at the one in Dobbin center - and after 3 lights came on my dashboard.... the check engine light is what scared me. When I took it back to the Dobbin center JL- they told me I just have to go to a mechanic which I knew would have cost me a boat load of money. I've brought my car here since "Day 1", and the service is always great. Like another reviewer said, the entire staff is very friendly and professional, with great manners (every door was held open for me, too). The prices are very reasonable (it is, after all, a Jiffy Lube), and if there's something they can't help you with themselves, they always have someone to recommend (and for what it's worth, those recommended people are always a pleasure to deal with, too). There's been a couple hiccups before, but every time they've been acknowledged right away and fixed without hesitation (and they usually do more than what's necessary to make up for it). My vehicle was damaged by the employees at this location. The oil filter housing was cracked during an oil change. I understand that things can happen while working on a vehicle. What is upsetting is the fact that the location is unwilling to reimburse me for the repair costs. Also in my opinion the manager isn't qualified to be in the position he is in. He doesn't present himself in a higher standard nor know completely about what he is talking about. I feel their staff is honest and have always given me an honest assessment concerning whether or not I needed to have something replaced immediately or if I could wait until my next time in. I hadn't been to jiffy lube in probably 12-15 years, but was in a rush and didn't have time to make an appointment at the Infiniti dealership so I rolled the dice - I couldn't have been happier. From the moment I stepped out of my car, I was met with extremely professional, customer-oriented service. Kevin was fantastic, walking me through picking out which oil to use, explaining prices, and checking with me before they replaced my air filters. I usually have decent experiences at Jiffy Lube however the location in Clarksville, MD was disappointing. Service was decently quick however the problems began once I got my car back. 1. Someone had gone through my glove compartment. Things from the glove compartment were scattered all over the floor of my car and I worry that a Jiffy Lube employee may have been going through my things. 2. A few days later I noticed that my tire pressure was low. Looking at my tire it, I could see that the Jiffy Lube employee had broken the valve nozzle in half when they yanked the pressure gauge out of my tire. The nozzle had a tire pressure sensor located on it and cost $94 to replace. I would avoid this Jiffy Lube as their maintenance staff is not acting above board! read more

After about 5 separate visits over the course of the past 6 months on a couple cars we own, I am ready to write a review. I honestly was a bit skeptical about trying Jiffy Lube after the scandal a 10+ years back with some of their facilities charging for oil changes never actually done, but since it had been quite a while, I decided to give them a try. Boy was I in for a treat. The customer service alone is red carpet level at this Clarksville location. From the time I pull up, a smiling and polite technician greets me at my car door within seconds to inquire about the services I'm requesting for that day--EVERY TIME. From there, I am personally escorted into the waiting room, informed who will be waiting on me at the counter, offered coffee, and asked if there's anything I need or have questions about. Within moments, another technician will meet me at the counter with any filters that may or may not need replacing, ask about my wipers, and confirm the type of oil I'd like to use. I am in and out of there within 15 minutes. The most I EVER had to wait was 30 minutes and that only occurred once and I was informed about the delay ahead of time so as to give me the option to return later if I chose. Mostly, I love that they are honest and not pushy about selling items to me that I really don't need. Just yesterday, the technician entered with my air filter and informed me that both it and my engine filter were checked and neither needed replacement at this time. That type of treatment really increases my level of trust and will make a difference in my decision to move forward when they do recommend to fix/ replace/ service other areas of my vehicle, especially the more pricey services. Thought it would be fine for "just a quick oil change". Now I am personally having to pay to have my skid plate reattached to my car, since Jiffy Lube left it dragging, and then removed it when they couldn't reattach it. I was told by the manager that "I didn't really NEED it since it doesn't really protect anything". I was not reimbursed for the damage and was told that the bolts rusted, and that it was "probably" zip tied to the car prior to them removing it. I was not told any of this while the car was being serviced, I was only told when I returned to have it repaired. Very disappointed, this is quickly becoming a very expensive oil change, I was not reimbursed at all and the damage was not covered or repaired by Jiffy Lube. JUST pulled in here in my son's car, technically before he was due for a change but he's leaving for a road trip tomorrow. We were helped by Bobby who could not have been nicer. He assured us that everything would be free since we were there before the mileage on the sticker. He: popped the hood for me since I didn't know how on my son's car, checked all fluids, added a quart of oil, topped off coolant and wiper fluid, checked the transmission, checked the tires, and fixed a mistake in their computer system (wrong plate number). The technicians replaced my brake light with the wrong bulb, causing my check engine light to come on. After driving back to the location 3 times for them to "check" it out and turn the check engine light off, it persisted to come back on. I had to take it to another shop and get charged almost $100 in labor to discover this very simple mistake that a car technician should know. After driving back to the location 3 times, for their own mistake I was never offered any sort of discount or compensation for my trouble. COMPLETE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE & POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. My daughter took her 2001 Honda Civic to the Clarksville, MD Jiffy Lube for an oil change and was told that she needed her transmission fluid flushed. Not being a mechanic she had a reasonable expectation that the technician was giving her good advice but that clearly that was not the case. Within 5 miles of leaving the shop her car broke down and will need a new transmission ($2000.00). She immediately called Jiffy Lube and was informed that Jiffy Lube is not liable for any damage to the car and it was probably something else that broke. Warning - the staff at this Jiffy Lube are dishonest crooks! I went to do an oil change on my 2011 Toyota RAV4 only to find out I did not have the right tool to remove the oil filter housing. I always work on my own car but in this case, the maintenance light was on and I didn't have time to order the 64mm oil filter housing tool needed to do the oil change myself. So, I shelved the synthetic oil and oil filter I purchased, changed my air filter and my cabin filter and reluctantly sent my wife up to the Clarksville Jiffy Lube. She called me from the Jiffy Lube and told me the staff there recommended replacing the cabin and air filter!? They actually told her the brand new filters needed to be replaced. Obviously my wife said no, which she would have done regardless considering the filters are 3Xs more expensive than you can purchase them for at Walmart, and she informed the staff there the filters had literally been replace less than 10 minutes ago (or 5 miles). They offered no rebuttal or excuse for their misconduct. Be warned, these people are thieves. If you have to take your car to them to maintain your warranty, watch everything they do. In fact, I have no confidence they actually changed my oil filter and I doubt they would have actually replaced the new air and cabin filters. They likely would have just billed my wife as there was no reason to replace these two pristine filters. Take your car here at your on risk. read more
