A Total Joke. I arrived at the center around 8:30 on a Saturday morning and pulled up to the door of the left-side service bay. A man on the other side of the door gestured me to move my car to the right-side bay, which I did. Then I waited. And waited. I was the only customer inside or outside the building. And I watched four guys inside chat amongst themselves and ignore me. After five minutes I left and drove up the road to Valvoline. Very disappointed. Before I go to any business I always check their Yelp reviews and this place had a pretty good listing so I gave them a try. I called before going in and the staff was very friendly and answered all my questions. When I arrived (I came during a slow hour) I was seen within 10mins. Walter and another guy, I didn't get his name helped me out. They told me all the things my car needed and gave me the option to fix it right on the spot. I feel strongly that they stripped the oil pan threads on my BMW costing me a huge amount of money to repair. If I could give them a zero, I would give them -0 or the bill for my damage. The manager made all kinds of excuses but all I know is my car was not leaking oil prior to going to get the oil change. Laurel location- I came here for my first time after I was impressed with hearing about an express oil change spot. I love the fact that you could sit in your car while being service. I disliked how they try to go about providing you with other suggestions your car needs. It's just OK to print it off at the end of whatever service you request on your receipt any recommendations in which they do that also but they also come up to your car window like sales people and try to pitch you a sale. Now that's what we're not going to do‍ I'm convinced some of the things they stated my car needed it, it actually did not need because my car was serviced at a dealership recently and I only came there because I was pressed for convenience for a oil change. Getting 2 stars because of the convenience for me otherwise it would not get 2 stars the techs were extremely nice and pleasant but I'm not sure what the fishy business is about in here. I will not be returning. They did not even reset my change oil light that didn't dawn on me till I was driving home. I'm hoping they even changed my oil because I'm not a mechanic so it's hard to tell what exactly they were doing. $44 basic oil change I normally pay $25 -$30 at the dealership or tire place. I have been coming here for about a year for fast oil changes and other routine maintenance like wiper blades, light bulbs, filters, refill fluids, engine flush, etc. In most cases I either have a short wait or get in immediately for them to begin. The work is done while you sit in your car, so you're right there, seeing everything that's being done. If you're only getting an oil change, it takes about 15 min once you get in. I typically stop across the street and get some lunch to go (such as California Tortilla), and eat it in my car while they do their work. They are really knowledgeable and make great recommendations but are not pushy about the services. Best of all, they're friendly and not condescending when I have questions about the maintenance on my car. read more

It's snowing today, the hours on their door say 8 am - 7 pm, yet when I entered at 1:30 pm on this Tuesday, the female manager looked at her employee and said "We're closing!" in an irritated tone. When I said I wasn't sure where to park, the employee by the door said "Go park across the street and give your keys to whoever's across the street!" He insultingly laughed in my face. He again joked that I should just leave and give my car to a random person across the street then they'll take care of my car later. Then the male manager rushed over to us, and again, instead of talking directly to me, the customer, who's in front of him, he also looks at his employee and says "NO! NO! We're closed!!" His other employee was kind enough to check the prices when I asked him how much oil changes were, but BOTH of his UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE managers made him stop. You know, because they're closing and there's no such thing as customer service during closing time at their shop apparently... Even though it's only 1:30 pm. I ONLY came here because of the "great" reviews on Yelp, but little did I know they would treat me like shit on a snow day. Bitchy, rude, nasty customer service. I still can't believe how UPSET the managers got when I came in during their working hours. And here I was, willing to throw $300+ their way to change my tires and oil. Screw this place. read more

I called 4:33pm on a Saturday afternoon and hoping to get a fast service before they close. They knew it was me when i pulled in. They checked everything and they told me nothing i need to get fixed. They're nice and convenient, and I haven't had any problems with their Columbia location, but at Laurel I've had more than one issue with them missing things. Most recently, I drove in with a tire pressure light due to a slow leak in one tire and I forgot to mention it to them. No big deal, they'll fill it anyways, right? As I drove away the light reminded me and I asked them if they filled up the tires. They say yes, and that they were all within a few pounds of spec, and the TPMS light should go away after a bit of driving. But it didn't, and when I got home I checked and one was 7 pounds low--more than just 'a few', that's worryingly under-inflated. So I'm not convinced that they're actually doing all of the checks that they say they are, and not just that but they're apparently lying about it too! read more

I've been coming here for a long time without any problems, and have always found the staff to be polite, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful for my oil changes and other types of vehicular maintenance. Unfortunately, while getting his oil changed, someone at this facility took my boyfriend's credit card and used it fraudulently for a few hundred dollars. I can no longer recommend Laurel Lube Center as I no longer trust the facility. We're very disappointed, to say the least, and will be taking our business elsewhere. read more
