I felt compelled to share how much care and courtesy their team member, Nelson, showed me during two separate car issues. My elderly parents live in Culpeper, and I visit them every weekend. The first time we met Nelson, our car needed air. My husband and I went to three different gas stations (including the nearby 7-Eleven) and none of the pumps worked. We pulled into Car Doctor, and Nelson kindly drove our car into the garage to fill the tires. He completely refused to take any money for it. Just a few weeks later on a Friday after 5:00 PM, I was driving into town when I heard a loud pop followed by a heavy humming noise. A plastic panel on the bottom of my Prius had broken off and was dragging on the road. Even though the technicians had already gone home for the weekend, Nelson was still there. He immediately identified the problem, pulled the car in, and cut off the broken piece to create a safe, short-term fix. Once again, he refused to take a single dime! Just when I was losing faith in humanity, an honest, kind, and caring person like Nelson reminded me that great people still exist. This is small-town community care at its absolute best. While I was there, I also noticed the shop area was completely immaculate. I will definitely be bringing both my car and my parents' car here for all future services. I look forward to giving them my business!

That being said, I've seen management change up at this place over the years and I've had some pretty bad experiences from previous crews here, but I've found the best use for this place is in oil changes, tire services, brake services, and so on. The regular maintenance stuff. I'll add that we used to be able to bring our own brakes/rotors/tires here and only pay for the labor, but the last time (2023) that I tried to do this at this location, I was told NTB didn't allow that anymore out of some liability issue or something. So, it seems that you need to purchase one of their own products for those services. However, they let me provide my own oil and filter for oil changes, so I think it's case specific. The staff at this location have also been really kind, no rudeness, no issues, and I've never had to wait long for the regular maintenance stuff to come through. All-in-all, it's a decent shop from a large chain. Management seems better now than it was in the past.

We're inform them that I only had about 3 or 400 lb in the back they then said that my frame was made weird and that was the reason they couldn't lift it. I'm almost 50 years old and I've been buying tires all my life and have never heard of such nonsense. But then as I was loading the tires I took notice of their shop help and it all became clear. I guess they get paid by the hour and make the same thing whether they mount my tires or not so they didn't care. No privately owned tire shop would have ever told me they couldn't mount my tires.
