My vehicle started acting up near their location, so my vehicle jerkingly stopped at one of their bays. They came and instantly helped me out despite that it wasn't for an oil change. They checked my vehicle out and let me know they were not equipped to fix what was wrong with my vehicle. And allowed me to wait where their customers get to chill out from humidity while I waited for the tow truck. I so appreciated this as a single travelling person. The service was quick and really convenient! I'd recommend using coupons like Groupon to save some money. Only thing, is that you'll definitely be paying more than the voucher is for, but that's a Groupon issue (ie clean up fee). Crazy I went for an oil change on my lunch brake. I paid $86, for a blended oil change. They weren't busy bunch of guys and female employees congregating around. I was Visiting Davie for my 12 year old daughters soccer tournament on 4/1 and the psi on my car front tire was rapidly declining. Not knowing my way around the area I went to the first two tire places closest to my location only to get turned away because they were "too busy". I finally got into Jiffy and Rafael and Alex came out to help me and located a nail in my tire. Despite being busy, and their bays all full, they recognized my anxiousness on being two hours from home and were non the less amazing. They did not have my tire in stock but they put a spare on my car, they were gracious and calming and I hope they realize that their kindness just helped me out in a very tough situation. Usually go to the place across the street, but they had a super long wait and I drastically needed an oil change. I will say - they are really fast. But, really do you have to try to upsell me on every little thing? Honestly we went through about 6 different things he told me I should get before I was finally - "Look, I just want the oil change and to be on my way". Cabin filter was $50 - I declined. However, they went out of their way to pull out this filter....dirtying the inside of the car door and the seats with grease, even damaging the filter a bit....simply to show it to me to try and sell me a new one. It took them double the time just to put it back in since it's in such a weird spot....wasted my time for a service I didn't even want. And did I mention they dirtied my seats with grease? I got in the car - and immediately noticed, so I got back out and told them. They wiped it down a bit and I could still see the grease in the creases of the leather....I had to go, so I didn't push it...but there's no reason they should of even been in the passenger side of my car - with greasy hands. I washed it off when I got back home with some leather wipes. At the register - the young lady was super nice - they do a whole corny thing where they "roll out a red carpet" when you are about to get in your car. In theory that's a "nice touch" but it's extremely awkward - and dangerous for the employee bending over to roll out a mini red carpet - with no notice - when people are about to open their doors. Won't say I won't be back because if I find myself in a bind, I'll come back for the speed - but I will certainly plan out my oil changes with more time moving forward. read more

This Jiffy Lube is conveniently located on the corner of University Drive and State Road 84. Everyone who is car-naive should know that every car shop always tries to up sell you on services. I've been to this location for oil changes multiple times and they did get me one time, but for some reason I keep coming back. Probably bc I refuse to go to the actual dealership, and plus my warranty is up. So they greet you immediately when you park, so don't even think about trying to make a phone call or collect yourself. They are serious about their service. And let me add their services are quick nonetheless. Then they escort you inside, open the door for you, discuss what you'd like to have done to your car and then bring your car around into the garage. There is a window in the waiting area that you can see through to check on your car, which is a nice feature. They'll proceed to check your car, take our the air filter, come inside and ask for you to follow them around the corner into a little tight hallway where they show you the air filter (and how dirty it is and how you should change it) and what other services you might be due for or recommended. Some people might be aggressive about it and add all the things to your total and say this is the final amount and I can give you this amount discount.... If your car needs the service then do what you have to do, but call your dad, uncle, boyfriend, brother, friend before you say yes... especially if you're car-naive like me. On the plus side, my recent visit did not include much haggling even though I was dreading it. And I appreciated that very much. I was terribly overdue for a oil change so when I arrived I initially stated I need an oil change and to check my fluids. When it got to the part where they discussed services, the attendant offered a system clean out before putting in the new oil I thought it was a good idea because it had been so long since my last oil change (over 5,000 miles). It didn't take long to do the system clean out and it didn't cost that much ($10). And surprisingly they did not take my air filter out this time. Each visit is different for me. And until I learn how to do my own oil change, I'll probably keep going. My 2008 Lexus over heated and I took it to the nearest auto place, Jiffy Lube at University and 595. I've taken my car there for oil changes before and, although the price is high, I was happy with the service. It was late afternoon and the mechanic was on his way out the bay door. But they took a look and gave me an estimate. $2,118.69!!!!! "Of course, we won't charge you for anything you don't need," they said. My neighbor came to pick me up and he talk to the mechanic for a moment who told him I needed a bunch of new stuff including an ignition coil set. My neighbor told me privately this estimate was really high and suspicious. He called Milito at El Camino Auto in Hollywood, where his family takes their cars too and trust, who told him it seemed high. I called Jiffy Lube and asked them not to do any work because I felt the prices were very high and I wanted a second estimate. They were understanding and nice. My neighbor and I went to the nearest auto store and priced out some of the parts: Radiator: Jiffy Lube-$220.21; Auto store-$197.99 Thermostat: Jiffy Lube-$16.99;Auto store-$10 Spark plugs: Jiffy Lube-$101.94 (6);Auto store -$60 Ignition coil set: Jiffy Lube-$529.99; Auto store-$369.00 We were shocked at the high up-charge! Shocked at how Jiffy Lube included repairs we felt were not needed. Why would they do this?! Because I'm a woman and know nothing about cars! Got my car towed the next morning, Milito estimated around $700. Saying all that needs fixing is the radiator and fans, which stopped working causing the car to over heat and radiator crack. Total with parts/labor: less than $700 Car is driving great! Came in for a oil change and to get new wiper blades. was told the wiper blades cost $14.99 total when I revived my bill they charged me double. After making note of it I asked the Service rep and she fixed the issue. Next issue while they where under my truck somehow they disassemble my back up camera. I pull out park waiting for the rep to bring my receipt I mention it to her about the reverse camera not working. She tells me the manager will be out to see me shortly. In short the manager never came out of the store to even acknowledge me. Horrible customer service to say the least. Im never coming here again. After the work was done he tells me it's $110.00 for an oil change. Never in my Life have I ever paid 110.00 for an oil change on any vehicle I've owned. Showed him where the prices are listed as that store does t have any prices listed anywhere and he tells me that's not there. That's elsewhere.
