READ THE ONE STAR REVIEWS....There is a theme here. STAY AWAY. This place didn't even get started on my car's oil change, when they broke the dipstick off from its stopper/handle. After an hour of them trying to get the broken dipstick out, the manager asked that I leave my car there for them to be able to free up the bay so as not to get cars backed up and so that their onsite mechanic could spend some time trying to retrieve the dipstick. (The manager offered to order a new dipstick but he said it would take a week or more. I ordered a new one online and got it in two days). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The manager called me back in an hour saying they "got the dipstick out" and that I was able to pick up my car. He also said it would fine to drive it without the dipstick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Upon inspection, I saw that there was no dipstick in the opening and no broken dipstick or its handle in sight. I drove home 3 miles and despite what the manager said, I didn't drive it until the new dipstick i ordered came in. When I got the new dipstick, I placed it into the oil opening and when I pulled it out to check the oil reading, the old dipstick, THE ONE THEY BROKE off came out with the new dipstick. (see photo)! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite being told when I picked it up that they had "taken the broken dipstick out". This was not the case.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] On top of all of this, I noticed my car was now leaking oil. So I drove it to my mechanic and upon inspection he said there was no leak but oil was covered all over the bottom oil pan and seal. If there was a zero I would have used that to rate it. I took my 2015 Jeep Wrangler in for a basic oil change this morning. Everything seems fine as usual. They try and upsell you in a bunch of other stuff which I declined but no oil changes something I assume that what they do every day they do pretty quickly I've done it with them before and never had an issue. Today after my oil change, I went about my business and got onto I 95 south to go visit relative who was having surgery down in Kendall within 30 minutes of me being on I 95 I end up losing all power. My car goes completely dead, and I end up on the side of the road . I had to call for a tow truck which took 90 minutes to get me back to Jiffy Lube to find out what the hell they did, they tinkered around with it. They looked around. They couldn't find the reason why but eventually, they admitted that they did something they admitted it was their mistake that my car was not functioning. But that was the end of it. I had to wait there for nearly 5 hours while they did this and that to the car only to find out that they don't know what happened and that now my car is completely rendered useless a car that's never seen an issue has never been to a mechanic is now dead sitting inside a Jiffy Lube on 444 East Sunrise Blvd. and Fort Lauderdale. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I spoke to enough people and they were all incredibly useless. None of them could give any solution except oh well, we're gonna have to keep your car for about a week until we get three other mechanics or whoever they use the car and see what's wrong with it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They're gonna get a quote and once they get a quote they're gonna call me to go ahead and authorize the repair and then they're gonna authorize the repair and get it fixed mind you I still don't know what happened to the car and what damage they may have caused to my engine that they have to go through all this to find out what's wrong. They constantly change their teams over and over and over again and you never get when it knows what they're doing and when they screw up your car, you're pretty much out of luck[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] so [[HIGHLIGHT]]they offer me offered me, a $35 rental a day in case I needed to rent a car which is not gonna happen but now I've got my car sitting there waiting for them to tell me what's gonna get fixed and the manager or supposedly whoever I spoke to on the phone won't give me the district manager number.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They won't even come close to giving me any information of the district manager is there's nothing they do. They basically either tell you do it their way or you're screwed so now you're waiting for these clowns to take care of your car that you've taken care of your whole life without issue and you're at their mercy. The only thing I can recommend is avoid this place. It just isn't worth it. I should've initially gone to my dealership even though it would be more expensive. It still would've been a better thing because they know how to work with jeeps just avoid this location good Valvoline go to a pet go to Midas. I don't care where but don't go to these people. These people are an absolute nightmare. Just look at the reviews. Go to any place and take a look at the reviews and see how poorly the reviews are. I should've done my research because honestly, I've been going to this particular location now for a good couple years without an issue but now with all these new people they bring in They fucked up my engine so now I'm left without a car for a week and I'm fucked so don't bother going to these people because they are the absolute worst. Update 3/24/24 So a supervisor of some sort by the name of Eric calls me to today to inform me they have found a chop shop that can replace my entire engine. Yes, the ENTIRE engine has to be replaced because of the incompetence of jiffy lube. They want to put in a used engine with 52k miles on it and only a 1 year warranty!!!!!! Are you nuts I say. The response was either that or we cut you a check for $7k ( I don't know where that amount even came from). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I refused everything and asked to take it to my local jeep dealer where I got the car ( 20 min away) and he said he would not do that and he would only offer those 2 options or nothing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is what a national brand like Jiffy Lube handles a situation they have admitted fault to. I requested to have my usual oil change at the discount rate (50%) that I usually get. Since I use regular Oil not Synthetic. My bill should have been $24.99 tax and disposa another $13 or so. Total about. $38. I did not approve any other services. My bill came to $117.64. The explanation was that they had to use synthetic as it was an older car and had an oil pan gasket leak and it needed thicker oil. Long story short, they got me good. I argued to no avail. I've been taking my vehicle to this location for quite some time now. Every time I go in, I get fast service and great results. Recently, I had electrical problems with my vehicle that rendered it undriveable. I called the shop, and they sent a couple employees over to get my car and bring it to the shop for diagnosis. They looked it over thoroughly and found that there was a loose electrical cable on the transmission. They secured the cable and got my vehicle running smoothly again. They went above and beyond to get me back on the road. From now on, I will only take my vehicle to this Jiffy Lube. read more

If i could rate them with a 0 star rating i would. I took my car here for an oil change and as im pulling the lever that releases the latch to open the hood, it wouldnt open. I ended up having to get out of the car while they took the parts off where the lever is that you pull inside the car. I never see them open the hood, then some guy with a head wrap comes in and tells me that due to some poor communication with the other worker, im getting a free full synthetic oil change but that they did it from under the car. Now i dont know much about cars and am a female but i thought maybe they had some kind of new methods that allowed them to put oil in without opening the hood. When i told my husband, he got so upset because for one, they made the lever worse when they took it apart, and two, we cant even get our fingers in under the hood at all and cant see anything. They definitely were pushing on the hood and made it worse. And what makes us even more upset is that they took advantage of me by lying to me saying they did the oil change and somehow reset the oil life percentage on my dash board to 100%. I would have respected them more had they just been honest, and my car still drives the same as it did prior to bringing my car here so thats how i know they didnt change anything!!! Scammers! Idk how yall have a high rating. Shame on me for not knowing much about this stuff, but shame on all of you for lying to me and taking advantage. Great experience. As soon as I pulled up I was welcoming and greeted by Frankie the store manager. He told me they could get me in immediately and it would take about 15 minutes to do. The other two step members working on my car both came up and were extremely polite and introduced themselves, asked how my day was. They even put a conditioning tunnel in my car while it was turned off (during the service) so I wasn't sweating. My car is a 2011 Mazda 2 and I have never used synthetic oil in all the years that I've had my car. Luckily I had A man in my life that use to take care of this but unfortunately he passed away. I wish I got the name of the dude who helped me with the tire plugs because he was awesome too.
