My experience with Jiffy Lube was extremely frustrating, particularly because of the way the manager, Laura, handled the situations. The other employees actually try to find solutions to help. Previously, an air filter was not installed correctly. When I brought the issue up, Laura told me that there was no record in the system showing that I had ever had the service done and essentially asked what she expected me to do about it. That response felt very dismissive, especially when the issue involved work that was supposed to have been completed at the location. Today, things got even worse. While Laura was handling my vehicle, the hood release cable/wire became stretched. She told me they had no one available who could fix it and that she could not let me leave with the vehicle in that condition. I was then told that I would need to have the vehicle towed to the Monroe location up the street to get it repaired. As a customer, I should not have to come out of pocket for unexpected towing and repair expenses resulting from an issue that occurred while my vehicle was being serviced. What made the situation worse was the lack of accountability and the rude, nonchalant attitude throughout the process. I came in expecting professional service and left with additional expenses and a lot of frustration. I would strongly encourage management to address both the customer service and the way vehicle issues are handled when something goes wrong during service. read more

Whenever I go to a Jiffy Lube, I expect the full court press and all out blitz of anticipated upselling to cancel out the undeniable convenience of getting an oil change without an appointment. So with that as my frame of mind, I got exactly what I expected. I got in and out quickly with no appointment. I also got hit with multiple suggestions of filters and fluid replacements and $15 light bulbs and services (one for $100+). The sales pitch was by rote and rapid fire, as if it had been given hundreds of times. I'm OK with the experience because I had seen it all before and I was expecting it. The young lady who walked me to the car and put the sticker on the windshield was pleasant and had quite a nicer approach than the tech I dealt with. read more

Came here this morning to get an oil change on my 2016 Chevy Silverado was greeted immediately before even jumping out of the vehicle by a nice gentleman named Anthony. He asked me if I'd been here before walked me inside the facility which is very clean and well-maintained. He asked me to take a seat and he would be with me in a couple moments, they weren't overall busy only two other customers here but he was running around like he wanted to get everybody out as soon as possible because they value your time. He went over the cost breakdown for my oil change which my truck required 8 quarts of oil so there was an additional charge for that which was no big deal it's a huge truck so I kind of expected that but they also vacuumed my truck which is always a mess! Very professional very nice very clean facility would totally come here again. read more

The location is extremely well kept. The employers are kind and efficient. They are extremely knowledgeable and more then capable. Customer service is a strong suit for them as well. The people who worked at this location were so nice and helpful. Staying in the cars during COVID is a great way to get the services we need without putting the workers at risk. Although my service was EXCELLENT , I noticed the conditions the men working there have to deal with throughout their day. I sat in my car for maybe 20-30 min during my oil change and the heat was very uncomfortable. I cannot imagine how the people who work all day there deal with their physical jobs in such a hot space. The service is great but I hope they are able to help the people who work there. read more

I went to jiffy lube in East Hartford for an oil change at 1030am on a Sunday the guy broke the stem pin on my tire and it Wouldn't hold air for more than 5 seconds I had to be in Boston Massachusetts by 2:30pm they said they would pay for the tire on Monday but I had to be somewhere so after an hour and change we found a tire place and they asked me if I had triple A to tow it there and asked me to pay for the oil change after I said no they said either pay for tow or the oil change (which I felt I shouldn't have to pay for either) so one of the employees used their triple A to get my car towed to shop when we got to the place it got fixed but had the stem without sensor so my tire light would stay on I and the employee told me to use that one and call Monday and the manager said he would pay for the rite one when I called they refused to pay for it and stopped returning my calls now my tire light stays on and I can't tell if any of my tires are low on air or not I called corporate but no one seems to know what to do I got it fixed Somewhere else so I say don't any jiffy lubes #badbusiness former loyal customer read more

How come they're always trying to sell me extra stuff when they can't even do the oil change correctly? Crush washer missing, oil pan bolt over tightened with rounded corners, Push pins, c-clips & shoulder screw on bottom engine splash shield missing. All for $125 full synthetic oil change. I've been bringing my car here since it was new so I know they're responsible for all of the incompetent reassembly. This came to my attention because they had failed to replace so many fasteners the shield got dented while it was hanging off the bottom of my car. read more

I have a company account with Jiffy Lube. This location does excellent work as well. Great prices for certain things and awesome staff. Ryan, Lauren, And Kris are who I deal with and they will treat you right! Always willing to go the extra mile to satisfy you! Recently when I went there to get a radiator service and transmission service they were very quick, professional, and diligent to one of my company trucks. They stand behind there work and I was very impressed by the way they presented themselves. A+ work! Only recommendation I would have for Jiffy Lube itself is to lower the synthetic oil prices. Conventional oil change prices are very reasonable.Also could add a new service to shine up peoples tires and wheels. A can of good tire shine costs about $8 a can and lasts about 10 times using sparingly. Charge customers $4.99 for the service which I know many would pay including myself and you are making about $50.00 per can. That's a $42 Profit on one can! Anyways, great service and awesome people! read more

I went in yesterday 7/30/14 for an oil change because I had a gift certificate from Christmas I hadn't used yet. The oil change itself went great and it was speedy. Everyone was very friendly, I give the staff 5 stars. The only thing I didn't like is I had to use the words "No Thank You" and "I'm all set" about 6 times while I was there. I got the signature oil change it was 24.99...They tried to sell me the next level up oil change (Same Oil) for ten bucks more 34.99. For this extra 10 bucks you get your car vacuumed and the fluids topped off and you can come back between oil changes to have fluids topped off. The problem is that on newer cars what fluid's really need to get topped off? The only fluid my car would need is windshield washer fluid... The other fluids like Brake, Coolant, Power Steering (Some cars with electric power steering don't even have this anymore) and transmission fluid should not really need topping off unless there is some kind of issue. So I would essentially be paying 10 extra bucks for windshield washer fluid and a quick vacuum? Not to mention most other places do those things as a courtesy.....The point of gift cards (from the business owners perspective) is to get people through your doors that might not otherwise, I just don't any value in what you get there for the price, and I don't see anything that sets them apart from the competition.
