I came in at about 5:20 p.m. today (March 6) and nobody was in the bays. When a person came out I pulled up. He said, "The manager didn't like the way you pulled in. If you do that again, this store will not service you." Then another worker came out, took my oil change order, went into the office, came out and told me to leave because the manager did not like the way I pulled in. I explained that I thought the first person was guiding me in. He said I needed to leave. I've left 5-star reviews in the past, but am shocked by this terrible treatment. read more

Same story as the other lady here. "Light engine work" is now a perpetual oil bleed, a check engine light and "not their fault. " Engine is destroyed - paid for another mechanic to look. After paying JL over 1k for the "light engine work" They say they'll reimburse me the cost of the mis diagnosed issue - whatever that means. read more

Last time I'll be coming here. Came in to get an oil change...spent more than 2 hours here. After 90 minutes, they recommended I get my battery replaced...so I said sure...they said it would only take a few min. After about 30 min they asked me if I could go get a new bolt from the auto shop because apparently they accidentally broke the original bolt when installing the new battery. What kind of request is that? I told them that I'll just go home with the broken bolt they jerry rigged to prop the new battery up. I felt like I was going to waste more of my time and possibly have them mess something up more. This was by far the most bizzare experience I've ever had. Well I'm going to leave two reviews because I have two different experiences that happened... the first one I am waiting on the warranty company to come to a resolution for the damage done to my vehicle while simply getting a top off before coming in the following day to an oil change. The only name I'll mention was CSA James C. who came out to my house yes to try and fix the issue an has done an oil change as of now and has since sent up the quote for repairs to the warranty claims company... who said they will not have a resolution until after Christmas, which upsets me considering the damage to the vehicle I had just had replaced three months prior to this incident. I will be leaving a separate review for one in particular technician who went above and beyond to make sure that I was calm and respected throughout the process while being disregarded and told a bunch of BS by said manager or CSA.... when I went back to confirm, I just got told it was out of his hands the warranty company will contact me and only to communicate with them. read more

I stopped by just before 6pm 8/11/21 and was told it was too late for an oil change. I see that they close at 7pm. Anyway the young guy was on his phone at the bay for a minute before I drove up he looked annoyed that I was there. Said unless it's a top off I they stopped oil changes too late! He seemed satisfied to tell me this so he returned to his phone fiddling. Just puts me off the attitude as well as unprofessional to be playing on your phone which seemed much more important than a paying customer. He could have presented it in a kinder manner. Arrived about 3:05PM on a Wednesday. There was one car ahead of me and I was out by 3:31PM. I got a synthetic oil change and new filter in my 2020 Subaru outback. I did not have to get out of the car. Service was fast and efficient and everyone seemed to check on everyone else so there could be no mistakes. The oil level and the tightness of the filter were double checked. Daniel, Kathleen and Curtis was professional but they also seemed to be having fun joking with each other. My service was done in less time than it would have taken to drive to Auburn to the Subaru dealer and it cost less than my last oil change there. Best of all, they honored my Valpack coupon from a competitor. They are the closest to my house and do a great job. I will be back. read more

Fantastic service! Came here on a Saturday afternoon and was greeted by polite and professional staff. It's drive thru style so we waited in the car until we were next. Once we got in, they were quick, very thorough and communicated throughout. Loved seeing the women mechanics as well. We left feeling great about the service but after going into a store my mother noticed a leak where we had parked. We were concerned so we rushed back to have them look but they were closed. We panicked and told them there was a leak. They let us in and double checked and thankfully, it was just water. We apologized for our false alarm and they reassured us it was not a problem and educated us on knowing the difference between water and oil and told us to not hesitate to come back again if there were any further issues. The worst service I have ever had. It was fine up until the last oil change I had a couple weeks ago. The engine oil light came on and went to get it checked yesterday. They then told me that I had an oil leak that's been there for a while. I told them I've been bringing it here for a year now and no one has ever mentioned it. I was annoyed and left. Went to run more errands that evening and went to work this morning and something was off. The engine oil light came back on. Left work and had to run an errand and the whole car was smoking. I got home safely but when I opened the hood there was oil all over my car because they didn't put the cap back on!! DO NOT GO TO THIS JIFFY LUBE IN FEDERAL WAY EVER!!! This was my first time coming to this location. I've been going to jiffy lube for my oil changes for 10 years, this was the first time anyone's ever told me I did not have the correct oil for my car. I get synthetic oil changes but with the miles I drive in between changes she said I need full synthetic. Though I said I've never had an issue, the worker insisted so I complied. She told me my oil change would be $80 which is what I normally pay so great. My low beam was out so she popped in a new bulb and told me my total was $156. When I asked about the price she said it was from a bulb change and I said no, there's no way I can afford a $70 bulb I do not want it. She told me to pull out of the bay and the other worker will assist me in resetting my oil. She brought me my statement for $135 saying she took $20 off which they never do. I felt ripped off from start to finish with the insisting and ignorance of my refusal. read more

So my car Stopped on me in the intersection near Jiffy Lube, I pulled in to their parking lot I knew they were closed so I call AAA for a Tow . Shortly after that a Jiffy Lube Employee (Patricia) came out to see if I was okay. She treated me as though I were there for an appointment very willing to help me in any way she could. She even offered me a ride home. Patricia was very kind and calm which helped calm me calm down not knowing what was going on with my car. She looked under the hood of my car and immediately knew what the problem was. During the time I was there she was amazing and willing to help in any way she could. Even though the store was closed she stayed with me until she knew I had a ride home. I have been to this Jiffy Lube in the past for an Oil Change and was very satisfied with the Professional Service. I appreciate and Thank Patricia and Jiffy Lube. PS. Got a full synthetic oil change. They didn't refill my coolant or check any of the other thing I expect like the air filter when I go to jiffy lube. They wanted to charge me twice what I usually pay for an engine air filter. They would not rotate my tires and told me to go down the street to the other jiffy lube location to have it done. I found all of this out because I took it down the street and they corrected everything for me. AND the idiots at the crappy location I'm reviewing didn't even tighten the oil cap all the way. Trash Jiffy lube. Save your time and money and go to the one a few blocks south. read more

These guys have always been awesome to me and treat my car right. Friendly, professional and prompt. Came in here today for an oil change and fluid top offs and they even remembered me by name. There was no line so they got me taken care of right away. They offered me a lobby to sit in but it's sunny so I asked if I could hang outside and bug them and they said no problem. Yesterday my wife and I went to our usual Jiffy Lube to get an oil change on our company van. And as we pulled up a young lady name Britt approach us with a very meek and beautiful spirit, her customer service was very professional and outstanding to be around. As we were setting the other service person came in, Jon and he told us we didn't need to get another oil change at this time, and he explained why, he said for this type of van, it's a requirement for an oil change at 5000 miles and not 3000. I'm very up set on how jiffy lube #1118 in Kent. lt's handling my claim . My last review was before and this is after 4/15/ 2021 Not even 2 miles of driving my left rear wheel came off in the middle of the street at 5:50am lucky i didn't have my 20 old month son with me cos I was heading to work . My son was with me after I left this location and luckily we live 1 mile away . Imagine 2 mile with my son our anyone driving up our down kent hills and a wheel popped off and now I'm scard to have my son in the truck with me cos of there work . It was a scary situation and lucky No one got hurt except for me who got vary scard and my RIM was rolling super fast for couple hundred feet and didn't cause an accident. Always make sure if you ever remove your wheel before taking it home , test drive it first . Never in my life this ever happen to me and they just lost a vary good client. read more

This is a solid Jiffy Lube. Have gone here multiple times and have never had an issue. They do a great job of informing you what's up with your car but not overselling or over pressuring you. I've honestly never waiting longer than 5 minutes before they are actively working on my car. And the service is always quick. I almost never write a review but all these good reviews are misleading. We recently brought over our low-mileage Subaru Legacy for an oil change expecting a quick service but ended up a nightmare. After the initial service I checked the oil and found it was overfilled by more than a quart. After taking it back they lowered the oil level but most likely cross threaded the drain plug as it resulted in an oil leak and an extreme mess. I had to take it back and they were denying any wrong doing. This car is garaged kept and leads a pampered life and has never leaked a drop of oil in 7 years since new. Upon taking back on the 4th trip I had to threaten to have ASE Mechanic to fix and send them the bill. They finally fixed their mistake but still never acknowledge it. We will never trust any Jiffy Lube again and I will make sure everyone that I know is aware of the risk when bringing their vehicle for a simple oil change. read more

Well dang. I wasn't going to write this review, but I feel like I'm doing the world an injustice by not saying anything. Today I had the most laughably bad experience at Jiffy Lube. To bring everyone up to speed, I had my oil changed previously at a different location at which they forgot to bolt the skid plate back on. (It was dragging and I had reattached it myself.) I told the customer service tech when I pulled in as a conversation starter/reminder to put the dang bolts back in after changing the oil. There was a chuckle in acknowledgment and I sat and waited for them to complete the job. Soon enough, they finish. Not a block down Pacific Highway do I hear THWOOOOOSH! scccccccccrrrrraaaaaape. Skid plate flew back and underneath the car, was still attached by the rear bolts as what happened at the previous oil change. OK! I turned around and headed back to the shop. A different kid greets me and I explain to him that the tech forgot to put the bolts back in. "We're sorry, we'll get that fixed for you"." 10 minutes later, the original customer service tech comes up and says, I quote "it's a cloth skid plate, and it has rips where the bolts go. It's made of cloth, so they need to be replaced regularly, but we got a bolt in and it will hold just fine". Riiiight, not bad for a kid making up stuff on the spot. FYI, skid plates don't generally need to get replaced unless damaged, and it sure didn't have "rips" in it when I personally reattached it the first time. Regardless, they said that they reattached it and it would hold. Ok, fair enough.---But wait, it doesn't end there. I drove down the block and had a weird feeling about the way the kid was talking to me, so I pulled over into a gas station and had a peek underneath the car. Guess what wasn't attached to the car anymore? The Skid Plate!!!!!! The tech in the pit came up with the genius idea, since he lost the bolts, to just remove the skid plate entirely and have the customer service guy tell me they fixed it. Again, I turned around and headed back to the shop and straight up called them out on it. They lied and denied and made up more stories saying there was never a skid plate to begin with. Long story short, they reinstalled the "imaginary" skid plate, never admitting what happened, but apologizing profusely. Even though this is the second time they "forgot" to bolt the skid plate on, I wouldn't have written this. What made me write this is the part where they removed parts from the vehicle and tried to deny it. I just happened to be the one to check. Who wants to place bets on the stack of skid plates down in the pit? Unacceptable. On a positive note, they sure did a damn good job of putting it back on once they got caught! read more

I couldn't be more satisfied, given the circumstances that I drive an hour and a half just to go to this specific location. I would give this place a 3.5 stars, but I guess I'll round up to four. It was our first visit to a Jiffy Lube in many many years, and needed a place to do a simple oil and filter change for our class B camper van - and having the underground design instead of a lift was the main reason for going to JL. The team there seemed very young, which is neither good or bad, and I liked how they communicated their work to each other. I do wish that since we stayed in our vehicle, that the process would have been described to us more clearly, than for me to have to ask all the questions, like the pricing options. Two different technicians worked on the van, and I think it would have worked better if only one did the work, as the second person looked confused as to how to place the hood stand when closing the hood. He also neglected to recap the windshield washer resevoir lid (it was hanging off by the attachment). Paying for the service was a bit confusing, that we needed to park outside, then walk in to pay I assumed I could just hand over my credit card and sign the paperwork, then drive off - so I think that process could have been explained. I think the over all job could have been quicker, as it was not busy, and there were plenty of technicians around, but it seems to take a while considering it was only an oil and filter change. Also, the first technician asked about the tire pressure limits, but did not see anyone actually topping off the tires. So I'm guessing everyone's experience will vary, but it seems lately my experience with the chain shops is that I'm catching things they missed when checking their work (the reservoir cap, air pressure) - but at least I got the oil change and used the online coupon for $7 off. Overall a good job, just not 'perfect.' read more

I take my car here regularly for oil changes. There's different people here every time but I've never had a problem.....up until recently. After I got my oil change my car started acting weird and the oil pressure sensor would blink as I'm driving. I called them right after and confronted them about it, they told me the SENSOR WAS ALREADY THERE, but I Know it wasn't. I took it back there and demanded they take a look at it. and they said it might be a faulty sensor. I took it somewhere else and they told me I had no oil pressure and there was a wire missing!!! I believe jiffy lube removed this wire because there were no problems with my car before. Be careful who works on your car, I do not recommend this jiffy lube to anyone. read more

This is a great Jiffy Lube! Now that the one in Des Moines is closed for good we will use this one! My husband took his truck here today to get the oil changed. Man....I've been going to this jiffy lube since 2009 I've taken my last 3 cars here and my parents bring their car here as well. They've gone through about 4 different managers since 2009. The last one stopped working there sometime in 2014 he was amazing. Little small guy, very outgoing, knew a lot about cars. He got promoted and that's always a good thing to see. Back to the present. Went here last week to get my oil change. I pay 79.95 for either synthetic or high mileage depending on what I feel like getting at that time. Like I said I've been coming here so much so I know what to expect. This time was a lot different. The guys don't seem as experienced. I KNOW!!!!!!! That my service comes with them vacuuming out the car and for a 79.95 oil change that I could've gotten from the dealership for 30 and you don't or "forget" to vacuum my car out.....that's a problem. I know it's just this crew of people because that's the first time it has ever happened. So I will stay away until they get some new people. Until then I will just travel the extra distance to go to the dealership. read more

Stopped in here yesterday to get a basic oil change. My car needed some massive TLC after driving all the way from Nebraska out here. When I arrived, I got greeted by a super nice gentleman who walked me through where I needed to pull in. I waited in the lobby until the sweetest woman came and got me. She walked me through the absolutely necessary things I needed to have completed, and things that could wait. Which was greatly appreciated. They have a great comfy lobby to hang out in while their working on your car. The only complaint that I had regarding this place was that it seemed a little pricey. For an oil change, air filter replacement, and tire rotation it was $118 (I had a $10 off coupon). This might be the standard out here in Washington, and this being my first oil change while living here it just kind of shocked me. Honestly, I will be coming back for the customer service....they really did a great job and were super sweet. Keep up the good work! read more
