Had my jeep serviced at Jiffy Lube. After having a terrible noise develop in the top of the motor, as well as performance issues....took it to a Chrysler Jeep dealer. The mechanic that checked it said I had the wrong oil filter and that it was too small for my motor. After wasting three weeks trying to get Jiffy Lube to own up to their mistake and repair my jeep, they finally told me it was the correct filter and that they weren't going to do anything about it. So now I've had to hire a lawyer, send the old filter and oil off to a company to be analyzed, and having to pay out of pocket to have my jeep repaired and the findings documented for litigation. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT take your vehicle to Jiffy Lube. You have been warned. read more

I just gotta brag on the fantastic service I recieved at Jiffy Lube on Irby Street. I went there today to get my oil changed and the guys there were so nice and kind! They opened my door for me, I waited maybe 30 minutes max (mind you, I didn't have an appointment or anything) and they even left me little peppermints in my car! It turned my whole day around. This location on Irby Street was once my favorite place to go until recently I had them to repair my AC Service I've always use them to change my oil and they always do a wonderful job recently I had them to repair my AC Service on March 19th 2016 I went into the place to get my AC Service I went early that morning and the end result for that day is I ended up waiting 5 hours I had to keep going to whoever came in the door to ask what was taking so long on one occasion I was told they had to replace a part but I will be finished soon so they finally finished the job and I stated to the manager manager JT that I should not be charged for those extra hours and so he figured he did me a favor my bill was $400 he claims it would have been more than that I paid for my service and left satisfied okay a couple of weeks later I had to call them back because all of a sudden my air stopped working I was told to come back in I went back and I don't know exactly what he did but from my understanding it has something to do with my AC belt JT the manager looked at it then again as well he came back inside and stated to me that everything is ok your AC is working I left and guess what about 3 weeks later I had to go back to them I called and spoke with the manager JT on the phone told him that my AC was out again he then starts dating to me something about my compressor now am I wrong to assume that the compressor should have been checked on day 1 I went in the next morning and of course he was not there I spoke to one to the other workers there and tell them that I spoke with JT over the phone and as a manager it seems like you should speak to your employees when you have a customer calling you with a complaint but the manager stated that she did not know that I was coming anyway I'll let the guy Mike which was also the same man that worked on my AC Service that very first day check my AC again well it appears my belt my AC belt popped again after fixing the AC belt he says everything appears to be working fine because I asked him what would cause the AC belt to keep popping he did not know told me that I need to go to the West Evans location he also said to me that myair was not getting cold as it should be and he added more freon now correct me if I'm wrong but if I went there on March 19th why would he need to put freon in there Weeks Later which took him about 30 minutes I should not have been that low in freon if I continue to receive any other problems I went there and spoke to the person in charge over there I was told that I had to do the services over again I asked what I still have to come out of pocket to pay for more expenses he did not know until he checked the truck out he said that any work that was done at the other location I would not get charged again but if it was something different that I would have to pay after that I contact the GM Robert and told him what was going on he stated to me that that was the first time he'd heard anything and that he will call me back the next morning after he spoke to the manager JT he called me back but he didn't resolve the issue he states to me what he was told by JT which is I need a new compressor now why do $400 worth of ac service without checking my compressor first the service they did that day serpentine belt was 79.99 AC recharge and leak detector was 99.99 AC belt tensioner was $ 73 I asked Robert why they did not check the compressor before doing any work to my truck my next question was what was the protocol when they do AC Service I stated to him that I should have been told from the beginning that I needed a compressor instead they did $400 of work that was a waste of time without repairing the compressor so Robert seem to think that by offering me a discount on the compressor and making sure that my truck was fixed properly was a good deal he also stated that they should have discussed with me the problems for my truck which they did not so they have my money but I still have no AC in my truck please do not let these people repair any AC work on your vehicle they specialize in oil change not ac service read more
