I love this Jiffy Lube, I'm always in and out in under 20 minutes and they can do so much of the standard maintenance on my car which saves me a bundle over having to take it to the Dealers. The waiting room is always clean, as is the restroom, and there's a Keurig coffee machine where you can help yourself to a coffee while you wait. Staff is friendly and polite and I like their new policy where you can actually sit in your car during the service too. I hope that continues to be an option once Covid is behind us. read more

While some of the technicians are skilled, I've had negative experiences with a few who were unprofessional and dismissive when I expressed concerns. Even when I remained polite, their responses were rude. If you encounter any issues after visiting, don't expect them to take responsibility for mistakes or carelessness. They seem to lack basic customer service skills, including a simple apology or appreciation for your business. I have several vehicles, but after this experience, I won't be returning and definitely won't recommend this place to anyone. They've lost my business for good. read more

This Jiffy Lube has excellent customer service. I needed a place to dispose of used engine oil as Advanced Auto Parts only let me dispose of 5 gallons and I had quite a bit I stored from over the years. On a whim, I parked at this Jiffy Lube and went to ask if I could dispose of some used oil. I was immediately greeted by multiple employees who were very friendly and professional. I asked if they were willing to collect used oil even though they didn't service my vehicle and their response was "absolutely, no problem - we just want to help the community dispose of oil properly". I had quite a bit to dispose of and they said no problem, they'd take it all. Wow! They even walked to my truck and helped me carry the jugs of used oil, which is crazy. I politely refused the $50 in cabin air filter change (because the Advance Auto right next door sells them for about $15). I then proceeded to watch the technician very carefully (so as not to drop any debris off my dirty filter) put the filter back into my car. I was an eight year faithful customer - I'm not any longer. Like all Jiffy Lube locations, I wish the waiting rooms were a little bit bigger. I recently went to JL for an oil change, and after several upsell attempts, was shown the need for new front brake pads and rotors. I agreed with the tech, as I have done brake and rotor replacements myself, and asked how much it would cost. He quoted me $498, which was too expensive for me so I thanked him and advised that I would handle the repair myself. He then suggested that if I bring the parts into Jiffy Lube early on a Saturday when they are slower, that they could perform the repair for 1 hour of labor, which was $139. I thought this was fair, and reconfirmed the quoted price with the tech. I arrived at Jiffy Lube that Saturday as instructed with the same tech/manager present, and reviewed our prior conversation, which he recalled. However he stated I would be charged for 1.8 hours, and the repair would cost $250. This was incredibly disappointing, as the manager tried to challenge my memory when I recall specifically what I was told. Poor service/communication and an extremely untrustworthy management team. read more

Went in for a routine oil change they do every day.... after driving half way home I heard scraping sound pulled over and checked underneath the car. They forgot to reattach the plastic skid plate cover. The entire cover is now destroyed. Coming off Linton Hall onto 29 S and at the light a lady said my rear driver tire was urgently low. Luckily, I knew there was a Jiffy Lube right down the hill on the right. Dude at JL saw my tire and was like holy cow I can't believe you are driving on that. (my scare face) ....My tire was on 5% and normal air in my tire is 35%. He filled it up and told me to check in at Ron's Used Tires up the road to the left. I knew just were it was... These guys wouldn't take a tip. They were just pleased they could help! The Gainesville Jiffy Lube is absolutely awesome. They operate like a well oiled machine here (pun intended). They are extremely professional, courteous, and FAST! I have a great car shop in town where I go for service, but this Jiffy Lube is the only place I'll get my oil changed because it's so convenient and FAST! :) I'm really surprised by the previous negative reviews as I've been coming here for several years and always had great experiences. People don't seem to like that they recommend services (up selling) like changing your filters, etc. I just always decline these things and consider it a perk that they show me my filters so I know when to change them myself. Just go in prepared to say no to extra services. They always politely accept it when I decline. I'd highly recommend giving this place a shot. People are nice but will try to rip you off anyway they can, charged me 90 dollars for a conventional oil change because they snuck a additive in there I never asked for, tried to charge me 200 to have my radiator flush which didn't need to be done it's a newer car, popped the hood bc I smelt something weed and there was oil all over the front of the engine and the dip stick wasn't even put back in place correctly also told me I needed a new air filter and it was going to be 50 bucks but mine was almost spotless.
