I love this Jiffy Lube, I'm always in and out in under 20 minutes and they can do so much of the standard maintenance on my car which saves me a bundle over having to take it to the Dealers. The waiting room is always clean, as is the restroom, and there's a Keurig coffee machine where you can help yourself to a coffee while you wait. Staff is friendly and polite and I like their new policy where you can actually sit in your car during the service too. I hope that continues to be an option once Covid is behind us.

Every place makes mistakes and in the past I have caught little things and let them slide. But when you quote things verbally out away from any price list and don't honor your word. I have to draw the line. What's worse the manager just ignored it and walked off without even asking the guy if he made a mistake. They are fast but use Jiffy Lube as a Last Restort

Hell no I don't recommend my worst enemy. Freaking nightmare. Stay far away from this establishment as you can. Drove away from this place and the bottom of my vehicle started making a noise and pulled over and they never attached the bottom of my vehicles underneath after changing my oil and I am not sure that they changed my oil or filter. I am reporting them to the BBB.

dirty filter place back in my car. really?? you couldn't have shaken that off?

Often lies about service due. Put wrong belt on my car because they were out of the right size. Doesn't know how to rotate tires properly.

To me a car should look good, get me from point a to b, and never leave me stranded (same criteria for a man...lol). I do know the value of money (because I want to keep as much of mine that I can for shoes) and know when I am being taken advantage of (I am not ignorant about cars, just too lazy to shop around). I need my car to run so I do what the auto place says and shell out my shoe budget to get it done. That was BEFORE Saintly Scott! I wish I had known him years ago because I would have sooooo many more shoes in my closet. All my life I have been taken advantage of at car places. In particular, for 6 years I was taking my car to the Acura dealership (not to be named...20 minutes east of haymarket off rt 50) and getting raked over the coals with high prices, fixes that didn't last and subpar parts that were defective including old tires that would dry rot in a year (yea every year i had to replace them...I assumed it was my commute). How do I know they were selling me bad tires...because Scott showed me how to read the numbers on a tire to know when it was manufactured so I would never have that problem again!!! While Scott is extremely knowledgeable about cars...all kinds of cars from vintage to future tech.... what's most important is that he is HONEST! He actually educates me (to the degree I am interested) on what is wrong with my car, what parts are broken, how they work, etc. And in a ways that I can understand and lookup if I wanted to verify it. Alos, I have never encountered someone who will provide me with an honest suggestion on what should be fixed on my car and what can wait a while. Also, he charges a fair price for parts and labor (honestly he could charge more and it would still be more than fair) On a side note the education I received to date is worth more than I paid to fix my car. At the dealership I was paying $3K to 5K a year in maintenance BUT the last two years I have spent only $300 in normal maintenance/repairs going to Saintly Scott. I love my experience so much I am thinking of buying a used car instead of a new one because I know I will be able to have someone honest maintain it for me. Please give him a try even if it is just and oil change....you will keep him forever!

Garage door closed (it was winter) but clearly marked for inspections. Realized later that there was a big vehicle parked in front of the entrance with the name of the company. That door is to the right of the garage door. Interesting waiting room. Lots of antiques to look at. Creepy dolls, age old magazines, Christmas decorations, and piles of 8-tracks! The wait was very entertaining!! Great music while you wait too!!! Everyone super friendly. Inspection was $20. I'll be back in a year :)

Headline: Tax Evasion Tactics and Dishonest Pricing - Avoid This Shop!…read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this shop. They use classic bait-and-switch tactics to avoid taxes and overcharge customers. Initially, they quoted me a ridiculous $930 for labor on my Lexus ES350, then offered to "lower" it to $790 only if I paid in CASH. This is clearly a tactic to avoid taxes while still charging premium rates. I provided all my own parts (spark plugs and two catalytic converters). Even though they only installed ONE of the two converters, they still forced me to pay the full "cash price" we had discussed for the entire job. When I asked about the second converter--which is a simple 30-minute job in the front of the engine--the mechanic tried to extort another $350 from me! To make it worse, the mechanic lied to my face about the technical difficulty of the job to justify his price hiking, claiming the rear catalyst is easier to access than the front one (a blatant lie to anyone who knows Lexus engines). These people are not honest mechanics; they are predators looking for cash-heavy transactions. The shop is empty for a reason. Check the other reviews--I'm not the only one they've tried to scam. Do yourself a favor and go to a professional shop that accepts cards and provides honest estimates.

I called, told them the make, model, and wanted something good in snow, rain, and off road (for a Jeep). They answered a few questions, ordered the tires, I scheduled the appointment, got them put on, and when I went to pay thought it was a mistake because the price was so low. After paying, was driving off the lot and immediately noticed a huge difference - it rode much smoother. The next day, researched the tire brand thinking with such a low price, it was a bad brand - only to discover that the brand is a recognized one and of high quality; additionally, the specific tire's description specifies that it is made for snow, rain, and for off road. I love, love, love Piedmont Tire & Auto. The professionals are incredibly good, attentative, and polite. One recommendation is to either drop it off or Uber somewhere while waiting. Though they are efficient and operate, smoothly, they have a constant flow of customers. They appreciate buffer time to accommodate everyone.

Questioning why an intact part was replaced will get you "fired as a customer". If you want to have the same issue regarding tire vibration that cut through 3 pairs of tires in around 2 years, go to piedmont. If you want to be told its balancing, no its alignment, no now 3/4 of your rims are magically bent the day after we replace and rotate your tires even though we stated the bend was not there when you brought it in 4-5 months prior but its absolutely not our fault and is "impossible" for it to be, go to piedmont and lastly, if you want your father repeatedly implied to be giving "bad advice" .. because i guess a young woman cant ask questions of her own accord regarding HER car.,. based upon a singular, previous appt where my father questioned why a perfectly intact oil pan (which now his oil leak is WORSE after going there AND they put regular oil in instead of full synthetic???) was replaced and charged, go to piedmont!!! Not just haymarket piedmont- all piedmonts! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt for a long, long while, even referring my family there given their cult following- but 2 years later, at least 4 pairs of tire purchases later... i have the same problem i walked in with years ago, and now the owner, John, utilizes his platform of 33,000 locals to villainize prior customers, make personal attacks, and cruel allegations. Of note: John frequently offers money up for anyone to grab regarding either tire service, coffee, etc. If you contact him about this, he will warp it as asking for handouts. Also, on the very large facebook forum, the group rules state fundraisers must be approved by admin (him). If you ask him to post a medical fundraiser for medical equipment (saving a sick service dog), he will again warp it as asking for handouts to the public. He will then utilize his platform of 30k locals to bash previous customers- including posting their picture with name calling and cruel accusations. This is the caliber of businessman you are dealing with.

VTA gave me an estimate of $627 for the repair, which I found extremely excessive. I have previous experience working in a mechanic shop and have performed repairs including brakes, tie rods, shocks, struts, and ball joints. I decided to do the repair myself and had the wheel alignment done at Icon Auto Services in Manassas for only $80. I returned to VTA for the reinspection. The technician took the vehicle inside, completed the inspection, placed a passing inspection sticker on the windshield, and parked my car outside. However, after doing so, he came back and told me that my brakes were not working and that I needed to pay another $39 diagnostic fee or he would fail the vehicle again. He also mentioned contacting the State Police/Troopers and told me it would be illegal to drive the vehicle. I found this extremely concerning, especially because the vehicle had already passed the reinspection and the passing sticker had been placed on the windshield. My brakes had been working normally, and I had no indication of a brake problem. I took my keys and left. Since then, I have driven the vehicle approximately 300 miles, and the brakes, ABS, and ESC have continued to work normally with no problems whatsoever. The $627 estimate was already disappointing, but what really bothered me was the way the reinspection was handled. I felt pressured and intimidated into paying for an additional diagnostic service after my vehicle had already been passed. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to Virginia Tire & Auto. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before authorizing repairs there.
