I've been coming here for the last couple years for oil change and safety. I came in today and left feeling the need to write this review. Crew is professional, reliable, and kindhearted. It really does seem like all of the employees are looking out for you and wanting to leave you satisfied. I never write these reviews for businesses, but this specific store exceeded my expectations and left me happy. Needless to say, the new head manager, Lana, is the best edition that this store has. She gives off so much warmth and really does make you feel comfortable. Her interactions with customers are so genuine and professional. I've never met a more level headed, sincere manager who's able to take care of her customers, operate a team, and be out there on the floor when she's needed. Lana absolutely works with the goal of putting her customers first and leaving them with a reason to write a positive review. I 100% recommend getting your services done here. 6/5 stars. read more

I remembered his name. They let this assistant manager stitch the name "Nutter" on his coveralls. I guess when you update a review yelp literally deletes your whole review and leaves only what you wanted to update. Remind me to leave yelp a one star review. The assistant manager "Nutter" has almost no customer service skills. It's actually a reflection on management that they would promote him. The Jiffy Lube off of Kalihi is way better, do yourself a favor and drive the two or three miles for a much better experience. Also I never responded to the woman who answered this because the experience at this location was so bad I would never go back, and I don't want anything for reporting about an obvious problem at her store. She should spend more time vetting her lead staff instead of answering every yelp review. read more

This was my first time every visiting a Jiffy Lube let alone one of those quick-oil-change places. I'll have to say, I was impressed. I pulled right up to the open stalls (no cars ahead of me) and immediately a lady came out and introduced hersefl (I'm awful at names so I don't remember hers). I let her know right away that I had never been there before so she brought me over to her workstation where she entered in my information as well as my car's - all this while the servicemen took my car and started working on it right away. The lady taking my information went through all the details of my car and what Lexus recommends I do. Luckily, all I needed that day was an oil change and some topping off of my fluids. She estimated about a 30 minute wait and showed me into the lobby where there was complimentary coffee as well as a vending machine for other drinks. Yes, there is a TV in the lobby and one of my favorite movies was playing...PITCH PERFECT!!! So I knew the wait would be anything but excruciating. Good/bad was that they were finished with my car in less than 15 minutes so I didn't get to watch much of my movie! The oil change package comes with vacuuming of floorboards and window washing. Um...I suppose they did those things but I honestly couldn't tell. I had done the Adventure Hunt this past weekend and had a lot of sand in my car. That sand is still there. Jiffy lube Beretania is a rip off when in for a safety check my horn wasn't working so I said fine fix it after they told me I have the wrong batter I have to change that and the battery holder so the charge me $149.00 dollars more and other battery is only four months old read more

I hate leaving bad reviews but I am almost certain someone here damaged my oil pan which is gonna cost me hundreds of dollars to fix. I noticed my car was running low on oil rapidly and when I went to Kapahulu Auto in regards to this issue they had told me they found Teflon tape/sealer wrapped around the drain plug. Mind you, jiffy lube did not notify me there was damage with my oil pan when I picked up my car or told me the temporary fix they did in regards to it. This is extremely unprofessional and upsetting. Brought my 2019 Chevy for a oil change and the lady told me that it would take 45mins . I returned a hour later and truck was still not ready. Stood around for about ten mins before the assistant manager came out and told me they don't have the right oil filter for my truck and they are trying to find one! The assistant manager told me he had to pick one up in Kailua and would be another 45 mins! A hour later they told me they have the filter so I asked how long more do I have to wait a technician yelled 5 mins just relax! Very rude and bad attitude. They finally finished my truck and said they will comp all charges . The same guy who yelled said you can get in your truck and leave very rudely. You would think a business that does oil changes everyday would check if they have right oil and filter before removing filter and draining oil!!!!! I am self employed I had to cancel my appointments with my costumers . This is the WORST SERVICE I EVER HAD!!!! I will never bring any vehicles to any jiffy lube location!!! If you need oil change take it to the dealer or a legit mechanic shop it's worth it!!! I'm taking my truck in to the dealer to make sure everything was done right. Wow! I went in for an $80 oil changed and got charged for antifreeze (which I didn't know they would charge extra!) The service checklist indicate they vacuum the floors and wash exterior windows and they didn't. Who knows if I got an oil change and oil filter replaced. This is the last time going to Jiffy lube!!! read more

Needed an urgent oil change and jiffy lube always gets the job done. For a Sunday they got it done within a timely manner. We dropped off the car around 11:45 and got it back by 1:00, they seemed really busy so it seemed very reasonable. Ryan was really nice from start to finish, really appreciate the service. Last week I tried Jiffy lube for the first time and probably my last time. Thinking it would be fast , drive in and drive out. They did my oil change paid over 119.00 for the bill. Two days later had oil stains on my garage floor. I decided to take it back to my shop who usually does my oil change and repairs found the oil filter leaking due to it being loose, so the seal on the filter was not holding the oil.. ughh. never again. first and last time read more

I love this Jiffy Lube! Even thought I just had my car serviced at the dealership I made the drive to Jiffy Lube on Beretania because their customer service is TOP NOTCH! And the oil change was $45 less than the dealership. Lana is a genuine and wonderful representative of Jiffy Lube and as long as she is at the Beretania location I will continue to bring my car for regular maintenance. read more

Came to do an oil change but turns out my car needed way more help that just an oil change. Lana helped and explained everything to me and from sistah to sistah I definitely trusted her recommendations and did everything that was needed. I usually come here and have a good experience. Today got a named Devin N. Assistant manager that gave all this attitude when I was checking in. I was holding a check right away he said "We don't take checks." Without even saying a sale speech or asking anything regarding the sale that I had not even ordered. I told him "This check is signed and for me my friend." Since they are close to the bank of hawaii I was gonna walk there to deposit while they changed the oil. After that he said " Gonna get the same thing u got last time? I said I would like to see costs and what other options I have. He started slapping the computer scrolling number seeming annoyed saying service they could offer and asking. You want this? You want this? You want this? I was like can I see the price I don't even know what you are offering. Ended up saying just put the oil that I put last time that's all. Thanks Thankfully I ended up opening what happened to the Cashier Zarra the situation that occurred and told her look Im usually not a complainer and just wanted to upgrade the service and understand what he was offering to my car if he had a little bit of more patience and manners. She said sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced I will give you a discount. They don't answer their phone. Called the Jiffy Lube corporate office to see if the wrong number was listed on their website, and was given a 909 number that went straight to voicemail. Tried the second number they gave me, the automated answering system said their lines were too busy to take my call and directed me to their website to "Fill out a customer service form". I just wanted to make an appointment { Required } for a safety check and get an oil change. Difficult to do when nobody answers, for three consecutive days, and various times throughout the day. Their website doesn't offer the capability to make an appointment online, yes, I'm registered. This used to be my "Go To" place for oil changes and safety inspections. The last time I was there { 5 years ago } was right when the state had changed the safety inspection system and it was chaotic everywhere. I was treated rudely then, which is why I haven't been back, but thought I would give them another try since the state had created all of the problems. I'm going drive down and talk to the manager and see what happens. Then maybe I'll revise this review. After a trip down to this store, nothing has changed. Went in after parking in the back, as I walked in there was a young man showing a woman a somewhat dirty engine air filter and a very clean cabin air filter trying to convince her they needed to be changed. I said nothing, even though I know from experience these filters were just fine { I overhauled my first V8 in 1974 and still do most of my own work } anyone that comes into places like this should know what to expect. Still slimy though. This same young man asked if I needed help, and I replied that I did. He came back in a couple of minutes and I informed him that his phone wasn't working and that I needed a safety check. His response was "Yeah, our phone's been kind of messed up" He then informed me that his next available date for a safety check was the 14th. When I informed him that I didn't feel this was acceptable, given that their phone wasn't working his response was "Well we've been booked up since like last month". His attitude reeked of insouciance, especially when I asked if he was the manager and he said he was. His name tag read 'Nutter'. Hard to believe his parents gave him that name, so I'm assuming it's a nickname. Fortunately, a young man in the waiting room pointed me down the road to a place that does safety checks, I was in and out in about 30 minutes, Thank You young man { with dog } it was greatly appreciated since 'Nutter' was singularly unhelpful in all respects. I'll be reporting this to their corporate office, and I'll never try Jiffy Lube again, any of them. Not that they seem to care. read more

Lana and her crew are completely amazing! Super nice, friendly and down to earth! Their customer service is outstanding! I have an older car and was concerned about the shifting gear problems it was having. I spoke with her about it and got great recommendations on the services they provided. They even got my totally clouded headlights looking brand new! I was totally amazed! I'm totally glad I went there! My car runs so much smoother now! I had an appointment scheduled this past Thursday (January 14th, 2021- 9:30 am) for a safety check. The appointment was made last month on December 10th, 2020. However, apparently they don't do it anymore. I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that they didn't even have the common courtesy to call or email me about it. They didn't even offer a coupon or something to accommodate me on THEIR mistake since it was a 30 minute there. I had to cancel my doctors appointment because this was one of the only free days I had since it expired at the end of January. I would put the workers name from when I made the appointment but I don't want to expose anyone like that. By the way, for anyone who wants to get a safety check done, go to Aina Haina 76. I walked in around 9 am, got it all done including payment within 2 minutes! Don't need to get out of your car. read more

I went there today and there were like 3 rows there. I went into one row with 2 cars ahead of me and waited 20 minutes to someone to come to me. Finally a fat hawaiian looking lady comes and I told her all I want is an oil change. She tells me I gotta wait 1 hour at least. So I told her thats ok I cant wait 1 hr. Jiffy means fast....not wait 1 hour. She acts likes I dont give a crap and just let me go. Really bad service and they dont give a crap if u have to wait long. Its only Jiffy when its slow. I waited 20 min. and no cars moved at all. Very slow in service. read more

She was respectful, honest, and all about helping me with my vehicle maintenance. Over the years she has routinely followed up with her me, and provided outstanding service for our neighborhood. My last two trips to Jiffy Lube. 1) Wait over an hour passed my appointment time before they even notice my cars existence. (Bad time keeping) 2) They failed my parking brake for a safety check so I went to a mechanic who said everything was working fine. This is probably the busiest Jiffy Lube. They are horrible at organizing the line of cars in front of their business. They tell you to leave your car with the keys in the ignition and wait inside until someone gets to you but (after waiting for 15 min or so in the waiting room) I witnessed cars that came after me being serviced first and cars arriving after me pull in front of my parked car to be serviced before me. I went to the Punchbowl location for an oil change and tire check, but they had over a 2-hr. wait. The Mgr referred me to the Beretania location. I arrived at Beretania location and within 5 mins they started my service. After a short time, Ryan let me know that they did not have the filter needed for my car (Mazda 6) he immediately offered to have the part delivered and if I could wait it would take about 20 mins. for the delivery. I agreed to wait. Within 20 mins or so the part arrived and he continued finishing my service. I appreciated that Ryan was able to get the part needed. It took a little longer for my service this time, but glad they were able to get the service done and not have to come back. That is what you call outstanding customer service! read more

Don't waste your time by giving them business!! I call 5x to schedule an appt but NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!! I then drive to the location only to be told that there's at best a 3-HR WAIT!! WTH?! Their excuse was, "We're short-staffed" (oldest excuse in the book) yet techs are playing around. Jiffy?? Not in the least! Other customers were not happy, either. Your money and time is better well spent going to another establishment who welcomes you from the very beginning, including answering the phone! This location is fairly busy at times depending on when you go. Service is okay and they will usually get you in and out within the hour. My problem is with their safety check system. You now have to make an appointment to get a safety check. I don't know if this is so with the other locations but there have been two separate occasions when I had an appointment and they called to cancel because the person who does the safety checks did not go to work. I ended up going to Lex Brodie's who can do it anytime before 4 pm. I stopped by and they did my safety check in less than 1/2 hour. It may take longer if they're busy but at least you don't have to make an appointment, wait for that day and then have them cancel. read more

I decided to give this location one more try. Again, pretty empty. I pulled up and the girl was really nice. Asked if I wanted to stay in the car or come in. I asked how long the wait would be and she said, "She's done so you'll be right up." Based on that, I waited in the car - in the sun. The person she referred to was talking with the driver. And talking and talking and talking. She even squatted down next to the car to continue talking. 10 minutes later, she's STILL yapping with the driver. I reversed out and left. NO MORE! read more

This place is pretty bad. Their workers can be friendly, so I feel bad about the one star, but then I think about how they totally messed up both my car, and my boyfriends car on two separate occasions just because we wanted a simple oil change, and then I feel less bad about it. First of all, my boyfriend took his car in there for an oil change a couple years ago. When he got home, oil leaked all over the street and driveway, because of an error on Jiffy Lube's part (I don't know a lot of about cars, but I believe they didn't replace a filter or something in the oil correctly so it all leaked out) I should have known better, but I'm not a car person and Jiffy Lube is three blocks away so I took my car there for an oil change. They changed my oil, didn't take too long, I went home, and bam... oil all over my drive way. It is worth mentioning that neither MY car, or my boyfriend's car ever ONCE leaked oil prior to taking it to Jiffy Lube. Obviously they did something, because my car never leaked, and then after bringing it back from Jiffy Lube, it's leaking across the garage and I'm getting notices from the resident manager about how it's against the apartment's policy or whatever for oil to leak. So I take it back and tell them they must have made a mistake replacing something or putting things back when they changed my oil because my car is leaking oil all over the place. They told me they would check it right away and to sit in the waiting room. So I sat in the waiting room about fifteen minutes and watched at my car just sat in the drive way and no one looked at it or anything. So I went back outside, thinking I was about to be a damn squeaky wheel and get some grease and I asked them how long they thought it would take for them to check and see if they made a mistake. "Probably about 45 minutes" they said. I had my two-year-old with me and there was no way I was going to wait 45 minutes for them to fix and error that they made. "Yeah, but you guys are the ones that made the mistake. My car never leaked oil and then the second I leave here after a routine oil change it's leaking all over the place. That's on you. That's Jiffy Lube's mistake and you need to fix it. Is there a manager I can talk to?" The guy went to look for a manager and my daughter was twirling around my feet when I looked down and saw a bag of ICE or COKE on the floor. And I'm not talking frozen water or soda. I'm taking a little bag of white drugs! I didn't want my finger prints on it, so when the manager came I said "Uh? What's that on the floor? Is that a bag of coke, or ice?" and the manager coughed a little, and the guy that was helping me before looked all frantic and they picked it up and disappeared and someone checked out my car within ten seconds and I was out of there in two minutes. I waited a few minutes and a person came by to let me know they don't have a filter for my car so they couldn't change my oil. I've been giving them my business here since I've got my truck new in 2007. Never really ran into any trouble since it's now 2014. I guess this location is truly a hit or miss. Usually I get my truck serviced here because of convenience. That would be location and wait time. Yesterday I scored on wait time. In and out within 20 mins. Customer service here on the other hand sucked. I specifically asked them to add air to my spare tire because warning light was on. I watched the guy who checked in my vehicle type it in the notes section on the computer. Cool. Proceed to wait in room and 15 mins later, job done. Get to paying for it and as I'm trying to sign receipt, bully looking guy behind counter refuses to let me adjust paper to an angle that I can properly write by not letting go of it after I try to adjust a few times. Imbecile. Whatever. Get in my truck, start her up, and lo and behold, warning light is still on. How hard is it to add air to a spare tire that's mounted on the rear door of an SUV? Not like it's buried underneath a trunk or the vehicle itself? Shakes head and goes to a gas station and do it myself. Warning. Service here has really diminished. Probably why wait time is shorter nowadays. People may be going elsewhere for good reason. Makes me rethink a return trip here. read more
